Childhood friends Bethel and Newbold were released Thursday on $20,000 bail and ordered to remain in Marsh Harbour where they will have to steer clear of one another and abide by a curfew.
Shiver will have to find five times that amount in cash and persuade a judge that she has a place to stay in the Bahamas before she can be released with an electronic ankle tag.
The former beauty pageant contestant is said to have been hooking up for the past several months with Bethel, whom she met while vacationing in Great Guana Cay, a sun-steeped resort island off the coast of Abaco.
Robert’s family own property there in exclusive Baker’s Bay, a members-only golf resort where Michael Jordan, Justin Timberlake and Tom Brady have sprawling coastal mansions.
But they cut off Shiver’s access to the luxurious residence and the family’s private jet in April after Robert learned of her fling with Bethel and filed for divorce, citing his wife’s ‘adulterous conduct’.
Shiver hit back in a counter-filing, accusing Robert of domestic abuse and claiming that any ‘extramarital relationship’ came after they had already split. Since then, Robert and their three kids, all aged under 12, have remained at the $2.5 million marital home in Thomasville while Shiver has travelled back and forth to the Bahamas to visit Bethel, sources say.
‘It’s common knowledge that they are dating,’ a friend told DailyMail.com. ‘It was like a crazy love affair between them.’
....... We previously unmasked Newbold – alias Faylo - as a wannabe music producer and the son of a respected local politician in Marsh Harbour, the principal town in Abaco. His day job is working as a structural engineer for a power company. According to Bahamian authorities, Newbold was enlisted by Shiver, 36, and her barman boyfriend Terrance Bethel, 28, to target her estranged husband

.....
has spent the past two weeks locked up in a grim Nassau prison after cops uncovered evidence of the supposed ‘murder-for-hire’ plot from WhatsApp messages between the trio.
But a source with knowledge of the investigation predicted that prosecutors may have a hard time proving that Newbold intended to kill Auburn standout Robert, who is now safely back in Thomasville, Georgia with the couple’s three young sons.
‘He has not confessed and there is little evidence that he agreed to an offer,’ our source explained.
‘There is no evidence that he objected either. But, of course, it will be up to the Crown to prove that he was genuinely prepared to kill Mr Shiver.’

Faron Newbold, 29, the alleged 'hitman' at the center of a plot to murder former college football star Robert Shiver, has been seen in public for the first time since he was released from custody.

It is early, but my prediction is Faylo will go free.
as for living beyond their means, seems Faylo is a structural engineer and wannabe music producer on the side.
Shiver's parents have money and her husband's family have megabucks. Robert has a very good position moneywise.
