JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

I am so interested to hear what his children say if they testify at his trial. I keep wondering about the state of Chad and Lori's marriage, and then I think . . . may be all they have is each other. Just my musings.
I honestly think Chad is going to throw her so far into the bus she’s not gonna know what hit her.

And I agree with you! Hearing from Chad’s kids it will be very interesting. Although from everything I’ve read so far, they’re standing behind him 100%. Maybe they think she put a spell on him?

Coming up fast. This one is not going to be an Archibald standing down kind of trial with prosecution having no opponent.

Interesting Rob Wood is a witness and that motion...

The State of their marriage, who cares.

They are in jail, have likely lost everything, have no minor childdren to care about and wouldn't if they did, no assets to divide and a divorce costs money or at least would take some time and not help either in the cases (well maybe Chad with looking as if she led him on, got him in trouble and he needs to be rid of her) and I'm sure is not a priority. They don't have each other, they will never see each other again, much less will Lori be able to ever again "welcome" his Storm.

Seven experts was it? Probably all about how a toad looking man can fall for an aging blonde temptress and be led around by his you know what when she was the first such he'd ever had a chance at. Chad wasn't led by Lori though. Not by a long shot. I suspect they will try such though.

Prior has had a LOT of fun made of him but he's no slouch or idiot. And all know I don't give defense credit usually but this is going to be a TRIAL. Assuming of course it is a fair one and both sides get to put on their part and bring in what they want within the law. Boyce isn't going to not be fair, he is too concerned with getting it right and consulting and all.

I honestly wish I could take time off for this one and watch. His IS being televised right/live? Unlike Lori's.

No one need answer :D One knows.

Yeah, Nate and Justin are both awesome. And even did a show together four of them. That was a great show, one I will always remember as being some kind of working together and not a competition.

Both deserve total kudos.

Chad's trial right around the corner. Are Chad and Prior really going to go for it and not do some last minute delay or typical defense tactics...?

Justin is talking Lori though, cryptic. What is he doing, some kind of Annie Cushing analysis of how many times what word was said and such. It doesn't really say.

Anyhow, I'm not sure I can be satisfied watching Chad's trial after the work day and after what happened... I can't take weeks off of course... And I believe Prior. This one is not going to be lie down and take it like Archibald did, probably thanks to Lori refusing to allow this and that type of defense. I will never forget the few minutes of him having Mel and David on the stand, mostly her and how fast he got under her so calm acting self exterior. It was but a taste...

All that said he has a client who is guilty and the prosecution despite having not much opposition did an outstanding job in Lori's...

Some of us have seen Megan on other shows and this show is rarely a one on one but this one is and well worth a watch.

There's a lot in it but one thing is it is past time to call out the LDS stuff. Listen to her on it.

She questions though if there is a god and it is a good show and discussion.

I can't reiterte this enough that this is worth a watch. With regard to LDS and Lori and more. I've seen her before but she says more and she is to LDS as Leah Remini is to Scientology and well worth hearing.

She no longer believes in God and has a whole lot to say about LDS. This is just a very interesting listen. I'm only a third of the way through and won't be able to finish today most likely but it's interesting as heck.

Chad and Prior have always wanted cameras as have the public so not a surprise, it was already known wasn't it. Question would be just why they want them... Lori didn't which seems a bit opposite of what one would expect...And I don't believe it's for the sake of his children watching, Chad does nothing for the sake of anyone and imo especially his kids. He considered them naught when he was fooling around with Lori, when he killed their mother, when he then married Lori and left them high and dry and so on.

I still think April Fool's Day is a fitting day for his trial to start, not that I think he was hoodwinked because neither of them were imo but because but because both were fools in covering their tracks and planning well. Despite the fact that stupidly too many LE and coroners and even funeral directors and life insurance companies just gave the benefit of the doubt and investigated nothing, once things finally were investigated, there was a lot even that late AND they burned the kids on his property. Joe and Alex will never likely see justice but there were so many deaths here, these two felt immune but missing children was the straw that broke the camel's back. Just taying they are fools. Evil ones, but fools.

I don't think this is going to be a quiet trial with Prior, it's also DP and I think Boyce is going to have his work cut out for him as are all. Prosecution is also short their special prosecutor in a DP case this time. Prior only recently got help no? Yet it looks as if this shall go off on time UNLESS a last minute curve ball is thrown.

Most of us have lived, breathed and followed this case since the kids disappeared, for a long time now. While this won't end it, Lor still has more trials coming, etc. it WILL put them both now in prison instead of county finally at minimum upon the attainment of a guilty verdict. Even if Prior is a go getter, there is a LOT to overcome. Some of the biggest are the kids were on his property, Tammy was HIS wife and HE was home and present with her when murdered. Those are just some of the large ones, we all know all the additional stuff as well.

Hopefully he also gets the DP. I don't think all the witnesses are stellar like Mel G, David, Melp P IF even used (Prior could also call) but the facts are pretty big. I"m fairy certain at LEAST the one son of Chad's will also have to testify I'd think.

I suspect a lot of similarities to Lori's but some major differences as well as with Tammy for one.

I don't think for a minute that he'll testify (sure could be wrong). The man to date has never uttered a word hardy, just sites there looking like some still zombie (yes zombie not a god) and like a smug buttoned up toad.

Bring it on. All convictions are going the right way of recent and let's have another. There was that one old one that he did was not convicted and that's still sad. So many years awaited for answers and justice. Can't think of the name. The girl near the railroad tracks where her mom and bf were in a club or some such nearby.

MOST THOUGH almost always get it right. Imo.

Not getting time to follow this one much but if the trial will last around 8 weeks and begins mid April, the second half of it will clash with the Delphi trial which begins mid May. :backtalk:
I’m on the flipside, because I don’t have time to follow Delphi very closely. I will depend on you for updates, and you can depend on me. I hope you can anyway! Barring anything else that keeps me from it.

It's like when I think it was West, Stauch and Vallow were going on all at the same time. Podcasters, etc. who had followed all had to pick and choose. Sadly Vallow got almost all of it where the others certainly warranted just as much AND Stauch was live, Vallow was not.

I don't have a bit of belief though that the trial for Allen will go off in mid May. Something will skew it and it will be the defense trying to blame the prosecution most likely. But perhaps we will be surprised and their bluff will be called.

I won't be home to daily watch any and had that in the other trio of cases as well but I still managed to at least check on the others but have never seen all of course. West almost intentionally in my opinion was hard to get news on, no live and no recording to get later like of Lori's but Gannon's was fully live. So I'm always playing catch up and sometimes never do but when I was off I'd be watching in full if one I followed.

years from now I will for those that actually recorded and ARCHIVED where it will be shown, if I don't die before I retire. Lol.

Do you think it will go eight weeks? I mean there's a lot but if they don't take multiple long breaks, lunch hours and every time Boyce needs time to go study up on something and reach out for advice and they go Monday through Friday on full days, even a trial like this imo shouldn't go eight weeks. BUT I do expect Prior to put on a case but even then you can only do so much. I guess he could harangue every prosecution witness for hours, put experts up for days, recall and so on.

I'm betting Allen's doesn't go off in time due to claims it is the fault of this or that, or a lack of expert, no money, that prosecution didn't hand over some nothing piece of something and so on. I think it should be noted prosecution and judge aren't playing both ways on delay, it's like okay, let's go then. It's a defense game always is. It was in Lori's and got the DP off the table and the co defendants split in the long run. And nothing was speedy about it yet they made it BECAUSE the years of delays were defense so it stopped the clock.

You have long and full days. I know how that is in trying to keep up with one we have followed for a long time when there is more than one going on.

Take care of self. If you're like me, this crime stuff became my outlet lol.

I am pretty much fully believing Chad's will go off on time short of what would be an obvious and intentional effort for it not to at the last minute and it IS the last minute now. I doubt fully that Delphi will but I do think if the prosecution can have it go off on time they will and that they are ready.

There's a world of difference between Prior and B & R in the Delphi case. Oh he has pulled his defense stuff but not like that. Nothing like that. He spent months or longer on attempts to sever, he went on about exculpatory possibly DNA on and on and on over time and finally got it which he demanded was necessary for testing and THEN when he finally got it never tested it! Somehow I manage to keep marginally up even when busy but definitely not fully. Or as fully as I'd like. Caught up here though.

Since he's a god couldn't he just teleport himself?
