JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

Oops. Lori lied.

ETA: Wait, maybe she didn't. Maybe Alex was busy cleaning up.

Maybe he cleaned up himself, washed his hands, put his gun away. Called Lori, who probably said call 911. Changed his clothes, pretended to do CPR, then called 911.
She subpoenaed Larry AND the brother of Charles, Bobby I think? Nice way to wreck their world and she claimed not to have looked, just signed a pile of subpoeonaes. Bullsh*t. Larry across the country with his granddaughter. So it isn't just the doxing but he may have HAD to travel for no reason as I doubt he'd ignore a court order of any kind.
I really don't think they would mind attending though. It is regarding their brother/BIL.

I can see how that could happen. I wasn't sure until the last day or today that they didnt get it until later. I just ran into Lori all over the detective about Charles' dates and judge and P coming down on her lol. Smearing the victim.
It's pretty obvious to us that she felt Charles deserved to die. I just hope the jury gets the same message.

Larry is home getting things moved. And has his granddaughter. Of course if RELEVANT and the P wanted him, I'm sure he would be there but that's not what Lori was doing in my book anyhow. WHAT would he have to say that would help her? She did such intentionally. Imo.

Lori knew he was dead before she left. Why would she have to say later call 911?

I hope the jury is getting it as well. They are really asking few questions so that both alternatively makes me hope they are getting it, or just aren't that curious I worry. Not sure what to think. Re the jury anyhow.

For me I am more convinced than I already was that this was a planned ambush.

Sorry, one more response. Of course they'd be there if required and it would help. Not for a minute though do I believe she was doing it for that reason and the judge basically asked what they knew that was relevant and she acted as if she never subpoenaed them. Bull. So now she is blaming who, her advisory or investigator? She just makes more enemies all of the time. Dumb witch. She isn't cute, it isn't funny.

The fact he could walk to the bedroom, I shouldn't call that fact actually, it is Alex's story, has always been my hang up. What was Charles doing, just saying take your time buddy? Waiting for him to come back with a gun? Alex could have left. He could have locked himself in the room. Etc. That just isn't self defense. Good to hear you are taken in whenever someone is killed in your area. Yes, I would think that would be the norm. It always seemed something was off here. Charles could NOT get help from them even before this it seemed. Yet on the stand, they have all been fairly good and were investigating it seems. Hard though to let go of what I have thought for years.

Then in one of Nate's she threatened Charles with Jason. A show before trial. I take that to mean Mow. I don't know why he's been kept out of this so much.... I haven't gotten around to it nor know where to look but where was he a cop? Was it with Chandler or Gilbert?

I don't know. It's hard I guess as we know things from beforehand. Personally I have always felt there is a lot bigger sh*t here than being prosecuted. And others that should be, and other things that should come out.
Anyone to do with LDS has been kept out of it.

Her whole MO is to blame others. And/or to put herself above others. She is an immortal being.

ATM though, I cannot yet see there is enough to show conspiracy. It was dumb to take his phone with her but she could always say she needed it to contact friends and relatives .

Yeah but we know so much more than the jury who may not get it. We now have the D witnesses who will doubtless say what a wonderful dutiful mother and wife she was.

As far as the church? Yes, that's for darned sure. I can't figure out why Jason Mow has been kept out of all of the trials either. Seriously. I saw someone mention that today in a chat. And I think Julie Rowe crashed one of the trials and had to be escorted out or some such. And they were all church goers and Lori was at the temple for hours upon hours a day. Lori threatened Charles with Jason, it was in texts Nate shared before trial. They have "touched" on some things but that's about it. I'm not going to entirely shy away from this subject. I can see them to a point needing to narrow down a case but other than that, there's a lot that isn't being addressed.

I believe they put in texts today but it was not entirely clear to me as testimony did not seem to ask about the specific texts. I can only hope that will be the ending tomorrow as now they think the State will rest tomorrow. There are things that tie this that they have gotten in, but I know what you mean about not a ton necessarily. I think her lies on the timeline and what she was doing and so forth are pretty big. The life insurance is big. There ARE things. They just need to get in the rest and wrap it up well imo.

She didn't need it to contact anyone. I dont know why anyone would buy that. Why wouldn't she have the same contacts? Her taking the phone and then later giving another story is a huge point imo.

Yeah she is so immortal LMAO.

I very much trust juries but no one seems to have much of a read on this one.

I would agree they haven't wrapped this all together yet for them.

Lol she couldn't even get her own dad served and the judge could actually deny every single witness she could have as she was late with all of it.

The timeline, if the jury is paying attention, nails Lori. Of course add in all the other things, but just that alone is damning. The wait to call 911, the lies, the life insurance, so much more.

Nate went through the timeline twice in his show and it is significant.

So somehow i never hard the landlord call. Don't know how since I watch all of Nate's generally.

I thought someone said he called the cops, this call it seems the cop called him. The man doesn't let the cop get a word in edgewise my goodness.

Not getting all that much from it other than he talks how deep the cult was. Said people were getting threats online from other members of it it sounds like he meant. Also I bet neighbors were upset when Alex was not arrested and was still there.

Cop says stories matched up but something didn't sit right so they kept investigating. Well, again it was not self defense even by their story imo.

What I don't understand is he mentions the pool party, sounds a bit like Summer was there with her kids. In the trial, I think the only mention of a pool party was someone saying she was upset she wasn't invited to one which isn't the same at all. Lori I mean. I forget who said she was upset she wasn't invited? Was it Adam? Anyhow that makes no sense but I think the jury should have known about the pool party and I don't think they do.

This was pretty good. They seem to think the jury is getting it. The exec producer is on with Justin and had some interesting thoughts. One point was that trying to paint Charles as a bad guy doesn't help her as she seems to be saying he deserved to be shot, without saying it because he was a bad guy, cheating, and so on. He had another even better point but I already forgot what it was lol. If I recall, I'll mention it.

Oh he did say he felt there was almost an undertone in the room today, meaning the jury was putting 2 and 2 together... On some things is how I think he meant that. The detective with the timeline I believe to be instrumental myself and I think texts came in but I'm not sure why they weren't detailed out loud, I think I saw everything today and don't think they were. However, maybe they still will be, it is all LE left I believe.

Everyone's big question of course is whether she will put on a defense at all or testify. She seems to have basically no witnesses. She wanted speedy trial. I believe she did what she did to Larry and the brother intentionally. Not sure why unable to serve her own dad lol.

Her only choice would probably be to take the stand herself, she doesn't have much else if she wants a defense imo.

Annie had another one out and I watched about maybe ten minutes of it and couldn't take it. One question and it took her ten minutes of wandering all over before then answering it I swear.

It also bothered me that she thought the judge in the first days was mostly ruling on the P's side and she thought Lori had a good point or two. Whose side is she ON? I guess maybe she's trying to be fair but the fact is the judge has been more than easygoing on her. I think it was the point about the P calling the one detective an expert. I don't know, maybe she had some points there but she was late regardless too.

Anyhow I don't think I'll even go into her shows any longer, they aggravate me. I used to be able to watch her but not these days for some reason. Like I said, she's worse than me, she wanders here off a question, then to there, then way over here and hems and haws.

I don't like hate her as a person or anything but her YT videos aren't for me. Back when I think I took them because I wanted to know more info and she filled in a lot about Joe and even a trip there after he died and various things about Tylee and all. I've heard it all though. The one thing she DOES do well is get and keep all the info, docs, you name it and try to put it together. She had I think it was the texts of Charles. I didn't pay a lot of attn but pretty sure they were his to Lori I think. I was about leaving by then.

I slept for something like an hour, hour and a half and now am up. This sleep thing is really getting old. No idea what is causing it. Not finding much on either which is surprising. Sitting here in the dark of course, it is 3:44 a.m., got up at 2. I thought I would be behind on my cooking shows and a bunch of them should have shows on from the weekend but they aren't popping up. Sigh.

Today I need to get some things done then daughter is coming over and just watch, I will be drowsy.

Anyhow, just catching up some on thoughts and such on yesterday.

Back to the trial, P will wrap either today or tomorrow. Even if today, I wonder if judge will push Lori forward or give it until Monday. I think if I were her, I'd try to cross enough to take it into tomorrow if P wraps today. Not that she thinks like anyone else. Lol.

She sure does have a thing about Charles dating, or is that an act....? She keeps getting things in there like he paid a woman $1,000. What's her point there? Is she hinting it was a prostitute or that he was a sucker for women online trying to get money with a sob story or some such?

One final thing, there are a lot of YT shorts coming out lol, of course with the obvious things like the best lines of trial some of them like "don't flatter yourself" and Kay's remarks and so on. Rachel Smith though must have did a bit of a short interview and I think she said she is saying out loud to lori on her TV or computer or was the one day, hypocrite. Hypocrite. Hypocrite. Meaning Lori lol. I can't recall if she said she yelled it or just said it lol. I've yelled at my screen at times over the years at people. Lol. I forget what it was about I watched so many, but I think it was about Charles dating when she was seeing a married man herself. She said something else too, I can't recall. I really enjoy her. For a special prosecutor, she's not overly stiff lol now that she can comment and all. Anyhow, lots of short clips, lots of good ones.
