Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *JURY SELECTION*

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

I was listening to it for a bit for once. Then they went on break while jurors filled out questionnaires. I don't see any way it will start today, will be lucky if it does tomorrow. It took how long just for some basic info and to read the VERY long list of possible witnesses to prospective jurors. It is so ridiculous the proportion this case has taken on.

Every victim is important and so is every case but it is ridiculous. That's why I can take it or leave it sometimes and stick to the actual legal part that isn't made a mockery of.

Anyhow, was watching, but it took a break and don't know if it is back on, haven't gotten back to check.

As far as who tainted any jury pool, well I think that's obvious.

"Motions hearings will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. There is no court scheduled for Thursday or Friday. Opening statements are slated for Tuesday, April 22, after Massachusetts courts are closed Monday for Patriots' Day."

Could be. I can see Lori trying to drag it out but hard to do with few to no witnesses. It's anyone's guess what she is going to do.

They sure are dragging this one out. I take it they have the jury then? They were bound to run out of strikes sooner or later. I was going to watch some of it the other day but never got back to it, jury selection I mean. No big deal imo, don't really care.

Report if can if anything of note. I watched several before trial, some were very long and hard to stick through but I did. Not sure I am up for. I've been not very productive all week and have maintenance coming tomorrow and have to change an appt I forgot was also tomorrow, daughter coming later to help with some things, dishes, shower, forms, more. And I haven't moved yet lol, I probably don't dare start watching what could be long hearings.

How is your process coming with SS and all?

no sound lol so nothing to report til they fix it.
anyways the process for the everything has been just that a flipping process lol
 
Live of the motions hearing. This coverage has comments explaining as it goes along. It needs it, because it is sleep inducing otherwise....zzzzzzz.

Oh I bet. There should be a word for overboard ridiculous processes.

Is it Court TV? They sure haven't done perfect with their camera, and feed in Daybell thus far. Glitches most days. They usually cover trials if a judge allows it. Yeah we have had a lot of no sound, camera going out, etc.
 
I caught a couple of minutes, not many and what's his CA face, Jackson, was talking about a report from the ARCA experts or some such, same thing they were in trouble for, explaining it's all kosher it seemed or trying to. Then it was break when I next looked and I got towards Daybell so that's all I saw.
 
There are apparently some witness intimidation hearings pending, regarding a particular blogger. So they are looking at excluding that person when those witnesses testify but that person would not lose their lottery ticket seat. I think they said there is a gag order on those witness intimidation hearings. I'll see if i can find a link explaining it.
