Gallegos’s nephew Ray Chavez, who was born five years after she went missing, said at the news conference that his family described his aunt as a “feisty” and “jovial” child who enjoyed playing with her cousins. He added that the kidnapping shaped his own upbringing, with his mother, Gallegos’s sister, being very protective.
“Unfortunately, my mom and my grandmother aren’t here anymore,” Chavez said. “But … I wanted to be here to thank everybody, to thank the sheriff’s office for relentlessly not giving this up. … It’s amazing the work that you did for our family to be at peace.”

One of the witnesses of the kidnapping who had been outside playing with Gallegos told law enforcement that he saw two children in the car, including a “freckle-faced little boy,” Lt. Tom Boelts said at the news conference.

The killers might be gone now, but what became of the boy?
Looking in Doe Network there aren't any matches of missing boys around that time. Googling I looked for UID's. One came up from 1963 in Oregon that the boy was I.D'ed recently. He was born in 1960.

The footprints. She was wearing flip flops. She was burned. So for her footprints to be intact?. Said she had been deceased 1-2 wks. So there's gaps in what I don't know?.Or am I missing information about things here?. This poor little girl.

The FBI alleged fingerprint expert did a real great job of comparing Sharon's footprints taken at the hospital when she was born with the footprints in the sand.😡
What I wonder is she was deceased 1-2 weeks. Those footprints would be undisturbed for that long?. It would be a sandy environment.

Episode 14 of the What Remains podcast reexamines the case of “Little Miss Nobody,” and the unknown remains that would take 62 years to identify.

We had a large thread here for Sharon Gallegos before we lost all of our threads a few years ago. We were told by a poster from Websleuths that she was not the same child as Little Miss Nobody. I recall making many posts on the Sharon Galegos thread. I do remember who was telling us that Sharon and Little Miss Nobody were not the same child, but I don't want to post the name.

I found this in one of my old albums. It's the same kind of car Sharon was pulled into. We also had numerous photos of the Gallegos home. We definitely had a large thread for Sharon Gallegos. I felt bullied into disregarding our information.

I can't find any 'Old Alamo Rd' about Congress, AZ in our current time. Nor any 'Sand Creek Wash'.
(There's an Old Alamo Rd in the town of Wenden, AZ but that's about 50 miles southwest of Congress. There's a 'Sand Creek' some 50 km eastsoutheast of Congress, but Sand Creek/Wash might not be an uncommon name around those parts...)

Because of the reports from officials that they weren't the same child, I can understand why a person was adamant that it couldn't be her. This is why we always want to keep our minds open to all scenarios until a case is completely solved. Sometimes people insist I'm wrong with my theories, but that's okay with me. I keep plugging on with my own thoughts and opinions anyway. :) I'm not a detective so I'm not hurting the investigation.
