The Golden State Killer Information: aka EARS

In a surprising turn of events, Golden State Killer suspect Joseph DeAngelo has offered to plead guilty in exchange for a life sentence.

DeAngelo, who is suspected of killing at least 13 people, has been incarcerated in the Sacramento County Main Jail since his arrest in April 2018. According to DeAngelo's defense team, he would be willing to plead guilty if the death penalty was taken off the table.

"Mr. DeAngelo is 74 years old," his defense wrote in a motion filed this week. "He has offered to plead to the charges with a lifetime sentence."

No other details about the conditions of such a deal were made public.

He said he's truly sorry. If I was the judge, I'd ask him: "When did you become 'truly' sorry? You've had forty years since your last crime, that we know about, to come forward and turn yourself in. It sounds like you only became 'truly' sorry after you were arrested!"

That's right - He's truly sorry he was caught and has to now spend his remaining years in prison, especially after all those years of freedom. He's sorry DNA was discovered too, I bet.

Nobody is going to feel sorry for him or mourn him when he's gone.

Yeah but some could say death is too good for that POS. Let him rot in jail. What is great is that his was the first case proved with DNA or he would never have been caught.
Yes but he would be rotting in prison with the DP. They never carry it out,, especially in Cali, and death row is far worse conditions and so he'd be rotting more lol.

He made a deal anyhow so it is a moot point but I am simply saying THAT is the least of what he deserves--death row.

Well many don't say it and he sure didn't have to because in no way will it help him. However, I don't buy it either, nor I am sure do the victims (those that survived) or their families.
