Bernard Madoff says he is dying and is asking a judge for compassionate release from prison, where he is serving 150 years for orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.

Madoff, 81, has terminal kidney failure and a life expectancy of less than 18 months. When the court sentenced him, “it was clear that Madoff’s 150-year prison sentence was symbolic for three reasons: retribution, deterrence, and for the victims,” the court filing states. “This Court must now consider whether keeping Madoff incarcerated … is truly in furtherance of statutory sentencing goals and our society’s value and understanding of compassion.”

Madoff said in the request for compassionate release that he “does not dispute the severity of his crimes.”

I was at my grandparents farm when my grandpa went running out of the house with his shotgun. I got scared & my grandma told me that my grandpa would only use the gun if a coyote was attacking one of the animals. Shortly thereafter my grandpa shined a flashlight up to the kitchen window & my grandma told me to look & grandpa was holding Bessie's new calf. At that moment my grandpa hung the moon in my eyes.

Every day after that when I collected the eggs from the hen house I always walked to barbed wire fence to chat with the new moo moo. ❤️

I fed the calves with the huge bottles. Man they are strong. I collected the eggs too. I have several pics of me feeding the calves.
 
My grandpa had shotguns. Hear something in the hen house. Or a snake in the barn where the cats stayed. DEAD! They had possums, Fox, Which is the worst that can happen. One day my grandpa killed a black barn snake. Not a threat to us. But to the cats. The next day their Border collie "Tippy" saw a black electrical cord in my grandpa's work shed and went crazy. 😆
 
Oh. They had coyotes too. 2 came up to the house one night when we were asleep. There was loud animal fighting noises. Tippy was taking them both on. My grandpa went outside with a shovel and they ran away. Tippy was untouched. She was protecting us.

Microsoft is warning that Office 365 customers are receiving phishing emails that aim to trick them into giving OAuth permissions to a bogus app that then lets attackers read and write emails.

Microsoft's Security Intelligence team warned this week that attackers are sending the OAuth phishing emails to "hundreds" of Office 365 customers.

The potentially malicious app, dubbed 'Upgrade', asks users to grant it OAuth permissions that would allow attackers to create inbox rules, read and write emails and calendar items, and read contacts, according to Microsoft Security Intelligence.
