Bernard Madoff says he is dying and is asking a judge for compassionate release from prison, where he is serving 150 years for orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.

Madoff, 81, has terminal kidney failure and a life expectancy of less than 18 months. When the court sentenced him, “it was clear that Madoff’s 150-year prison sentence was symbolic for three reasons: retribution, deterrence, and for the victims,” the court filing states. “This Court must now consider whether keeping Madoff incarcerated … is truly in furtherance of statutory sentencing goals and our society’s value and understanding of compassion.”

Madoff said in the request for compassionate release that he “does not dispute the severity of his crimes.”

Why would her mother do that?.

Same reason she does everything, she is evil and doesn't care about anyone but herself. There is a group of women who watch over Cherish's grave. They tend to it, keep it neat and decorate it with small appropriate items at certain holidays. They do this with the consent and approval of Cherish's father who lives out of state and cannot be there. They have never been an issue. Many cemeteries wish there were more people like them because they take pride in caring for the plot.

Rayne is obviously jealous and vindictive. Wrap your mind around the fact that she is furious that her dead child gets the attention and she doesn't. She wants to be seen as the victim who was done so wrong and nobody buys that he and so she is acting out against people using her own dead child.

She lost the other 2 daughters and they now live with the daughter that Rayne abandoned in Australia. That daughter grew up without Rayne and is a decent person who did not want her little half sisters in foster care ( remember, the young girls had a meth head dad who stole everything for meth and kept them in a house without utilities or appliances.).

Rayne is vile.Just thinking of her makes my blood boil. She desecrated her own child s grave the child who died because her mother handed her over to a predator because she thought she was going to get something for free ( or at the expense of her daughter).
