ONGOING CRIME BREAKING NEWS!

Starting in January 2020, this thread is about the news as it breaks!

Bernard Madoff says he is dying and is asking a judge for compassionate release from prison, where he is serving 150 years for orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.

Madoff, 81, has terminal kidney failure and a life expectancy of less than 18 months. When the court sentenced him, “it was clear that Madoff’s 150-year prison sentence was symbolic for three reasons: retribution, deterrence, and for the victims,” the court filing states. “This Court must now consider whether keeping Madoff incarcerated … is truly in furtherance of statutory sentencing goals and our society’s value and understanding of compassion.”

Madoff said in the request for compassionate release that he “does not dispute the severity of his crimes.”

IMO- stay in jail

You have got to be f'in kidding. Memes that they are sending right there. A murderer I don't really care. Print them out. Make a collage. Really?! Then put them into a book. WOW! WTF?!!! Wouldn't respond for an interview. Because you are so caught that you can't defend yourself? Maybe?. Busted says you're busted. Your dishonor. Off the bench forever.
It was worth watching and knowing about wasn't it? Reporting needs to be more like this. I'd watch this kind of stuff and the world needs to know oh yes, it goes on. I don't know if you remember the little (big?) slip and comment I was told... Not this big but who knows what else goes on....

Child was driving vehicle involved in Texas head-on crash that killed nine people: NTSB

NTSB says a 13-year-old drove the truck that struck a van and killed 9 people

A 13-year-old was driving the pickup truck that hit a University of the Southwest bus in a head-on collision Tuesday night in West Texas, killing nine people, National Transportation Safety Board Vice Chairman Bruce Landsberg said on Thursday.

The pickup truck crossed into the opposite lane on a two-lane highway in West Texas when it hit the bus, which was carrying the university's men’s and women’s golf teams.

I didn't know about this case until seeing it here and this was interesting, my goodness has there ever been a person that has lied so much with no shame... And what is with this husband? I am not sure I buy anything he says either.

It's nice her "captors" gave her a bucket of cat litter as her bathroom when keeping her in a closet. Smh. One of many ridiculous lies.
