60 million sounds cheap for a couple of islands quite honestly however I wouldn't ever want something so stained even if I had the money for a private island/s. Seriously. A new owner would likely want such for some beautiful privacy but all would be wondering what was behind that privacy going on on that island due to all of this. And who was coming and going and what is really going on. And it would take someone rich and someone rich or powerful or known sure isn't going to want it as that's the type that may well have been there as a guest of JE and GM or people would wonder.
I'm trying to decide if I would buy it for $1 and I'm having a battle royal with myself. It would be STUPID to pass up some tropical getaway with all the fixings, pool, house, etc. for $1. I've always dreamed of living somewhere warm and with ocean and no winters and so on but nope, I don't think I would. A teeny part of my brain is saying you wouldn't be that stupid to pass it up for a dollar but I think I would. I don't have a private jet anyhow nor a helicopter or a boat so I'd be in a fix right off to even use it or get back off the island and I'm not into being Gilligan and stuck. Lol.

All structures would have to be demolished if it was me buying it. Not only for the total ick of it, but how many recording devices and viewing abilities are embedded in the place?

yeah and I am not sure that would be enough for me. they'd have to sterilize the grass, sand, etc., cleanse the pool five times over and more plus I just dont' think I could erase the whole thought or aura of the place even with all gone..

I am convinced another president was out there but I never say it because I am not going to get into politics and it isn't a political thing with me. Just as with Clinton, even if one is one side or the other does anyone truly believe he never partook in anything? I mean COME ON. HE/THEY had SUCH an association so much as to be invited to Chelsea's wedding and he had such ties he was told by a staff member or someone it would be wise to disassociate from him but if there is anything Bill is, it is clueless and dumb. It is Hillary that has some brain cells, he is just a __________________ that I don't know follows his desires, needs, and his d*CK and probably will even as an old man.

Yeah, there's a ton of people who should go down here. Proving it is another thing. It in no way excuses Maxwell and as I keep saying she could help that happen but chooses not to. She spend her time throwing her childlike tantrums with no one protecting her while watching other women and minor girls abused and giving her a cushy life and still screwing other women over.

I have NO SYMPATHY for her. Not a pittance and not an ounce. She shows who she is and her true colors to this very day.

One of the four victims testifying against Maxwell said it took place at the Zorro Ranch with Annie Farmer being the accuser. Another accuser related it taking place in London and it didn't count due to the age of consent but it was relevant for corroborating the MO. The other two were at the Palm Beach and NY residences IIRC so I don't think the VI locations came into the Maxwell trial at all IIRC.

I wouldnt be interested in the property or in a holiday there - even if both were for free - the new owner is apparently going to turn it into a luxury resort.

They were always going to take it to the supreme Court if they keep losing as long as the funding is happening. This is not unexpected at all.

Yeah I think that's kind of what is being said. While I think we have the bulk of a list, all is a different story and many were not furthere because of age at the time.

Although because of their claims even without cases, the names mayk be out there or have been put out there? Not sure. Not in legal documents and cases though perhaps.

Kind of what it already was. A vacation spot/resort like thing with such hosts and accommodations for the rich, the powerful, the corrupt and the perverted.

I'm sure the new owner doesn't intend that I'd hope but it is an island and the cost to just stay and type it would attract being it is Epstein Island well, I wouldn't go there and think twice if I was him or her in buying it...

I'm running out of any sleep time so not reading but whatever is what I have to say to that. I honestly already think a fiix will come in at some point it just can't be obvious and too soon. In the meantime they've already got her screwing others over and in Club Med at the prison.

No deal JE made exonerates her or makes her immune either nor ANYONE he put in it from federal charges.

And it didn't protect him that way either as he died in jail facing charges.

That alone shows the FL deal has no teeth with federal.

Let them take it to the SC. At least in this one maybe it won't get confused like in Delphi where it was being intimated it was the SC and not the ISC lol.

I don't like her. I detest her. As I am sure is clear. Don't get me wrong, I was as strong or worse on JE.

Just keeping the thread updated. I would like to know how she is paying her lawyers though. I also don't care what part of the prison she is in. It's still a prison.

Regarding the different countries/states her victims were abused, I am just wondering - was it a federal case? I can't remember.

Maxwell was convicted federally.

I do care what part she is in just as I cared when evil JE pretty much wasn't in jail but out something like 20 hours a day and sleeping there for a few. Maybe she isn't out but she's where most are there based on trust earned and she hasn't earned sh*t and I'm sure it's more relaxed by far.

As I said JE's deal didn't even cover himself when it came to out of Florida and so on.

You're great at keeping info in the thread and apprising of all. This one isn't top of my list for interest as she is convicted and others not so are heating up or in trial (Daybell) and as we all know RA is headed for trial. Not sure how much time I will give it or be able to read but I do like to stay up to date when I can on any I follow. Lord forbid she'd be released and something pulled and I not know it. Her movement to this special unit of the prison is bad enough imo.

I don't think ANYTHING would be covered federally by any deal JE made with a state if that's what you mean. It is two different beasts. Two different courts with their own charges, etc. You could have your own state totally agree to never prosecute you and make a deal but if any offense you committed violated federal law, they can't excuse you from that or them so to speak. Neither controls the other or deals for the other.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil - that's all it is IMO.

JE never came to trial in his case so we will never know if the immunity deal would have covered him in NY.
