Distinguishing Marks/Features: A serpent or dragon on the chest and stomach. The word "Virgo" in blue on the left shoulder. A red and blue flaming Star or planet in the web between the thumb and index finger. A globe surrounded by letters on the left forearm. The tattoos were somewhat recent.

Circumstances of Discovery​

Atlanta police picked up the unidentified man on the side of Interstate 75 late at night on July 20, 1995, and took him to Grady Hospital with severe head injuries. He was hospitalized for almost one year and died in the hospital on June 24, 1996.

I just wanted to give you an update. The detective working on this case is in contact with the medical examiner’s office in Georgia and has looped the FBI in to work on some comparisons. I’m told it may be a couple weeks before there are any answers. If you want to check back in with me then I’ll let you know if I have any further information.

keep in mind that i will not do that. i promised at the beginning of all this that i would do whatever it takes to ID Jessie doe but i take it back. i would not be making that phone call.

another idea is to ask a little more about Jessie doe's autopsy report and ask a little bit about him and if there were any markings left out. but, I don't think they would know. they didn't even feed him, let alone look at his feet.

yall let me know if we should just wait for the reports to come back or should we speed up this process?

WOW. Whether this turns our right or wrong, KEEP in mind the FBI I am guessing is seeing or WILL see the questions with Jesse and how things were not handled right for Jesse. Even if they can't come down on the hospital or LE there, they can PERHAPS ensure data is correct or gather any further data they can on Jesse.

And even more so, this very likely may mean they realize even without an automated DNA hit (which should have occurred), there may be a reason or something may be wrong in Jesse's case maybe? It seems they will be doing some kind of manual look at the DNA and all of the data.

It also must mean there is NOTHING definitive right now that excludes Jesse from being Christopher in their opinion!

Of course, it is possible the FBI has always been in the loop on Christopher's case so maybe it isn't a new thing but it certainly sounds like it is...

well, jessie doe was never even thought of or seen by the FBI, so now they know! i hope they specifically read that he was 85 lbs and they took off part of his skull while he was alive... and didnt put it back on. they were able to get ahold of the detectives in Georgia which is amazing news to me because they are IMPOSSIBLE to reach. this forces everyone to look at jessie doe and realize what they did wrong, and possibly finally bring answers to Christopher's family. this is HUGE news. if they looked at the cases and immediately thought that there was no way these are the same people, brian would have let me know. so this means they also see him as a likely match! the FBI! and i helped get them involved! this is, like, unfathomable to me. and even if they have always been in the loop, thats just as amazing! that just shows that they care about kids that go missing instead of shrugging it off and saying he was just another runaway. ive always wanted the police to know about how they treated jessie, and they finally do!

Yep it isn't just those people who failed him in Atlanta that know now. TWO other LE agencies know! AND Namus right?? Probably.
