TPD, Toledo Fire searching for missing nonverbal 3-year-old

Toledo Police and Fire are searching for a missing 3-year-old boy this afternoon and also are asking for the public's help in locating the missing toddler in south Toledo.
Braylen Noble, 3, was reported missing on Friday from the 3400 block of Gibraltar Heights Drive at the Hunters Ridge apartments. His mother called police to say the boy apparently fell out of a third-floor window and she couldn't find him, police said.

The child last was seen wearing a long-sleeved red and white Mickey Mouse shirt.

Toledo Police and Fire personnel have been searching for the boy since 12:25 p.m. Friday.

Braylen is nonverbal, police said. Toledo Police and Fire personnel are searching the areas of South Byrne Road and Airport Highway, and the area by the apartment complex in the 3400 block of Gibraltar Heights Drive.

Officers and detectives are now conducting door-to-door searches of the entire apartment complex, police said at 2:42 p.m.

Also assisting police and fire personnel with the search are Toledo Metroparks Officers. Teams are conducting an area search of surrounding buildings, dumpsters, under vehicles and more, police say.

Drones have been deployed to assist the search and Toledo Fire and Rescue Department's water rescue unit is also on Swan Creek to help search. K9 units are also being employed to help search.

Police say the child's mother has been taken to the Safety Building as a matter of protocol in such search situations.

Their own attorney added that not locking the door was a negligent act it appears. They are not saying it was the window any longer I take it.
There's not enough context for me to be able to interpret that.
I'd have to hear his full argument before I could decide whether the story changed.

I don't entirely understand why that is an issue for you. I don't care if the stories changed or not. And maybe one changed it or told the truth and one did not since there are two here.

For me the window story is ludicrous.

For me they were charged with minor offenses and they did not fight them, they basically admitted there is enough evidence to convict on those charges or pled guilty, whatever the case.

Yes that is not enough context to interpret it. It isn't written very clearly but the only way to take it imo is yes they admit to the fact it was negligent and the door was not secured apparently. And I even doubt that is what happened.

Sadly at this point and probably for good, this is the result of this case. And the result is they basically admitted to lying about their story as that was their charge and what they were sentenced for. No one to my knowledge forced them to do that. So I guess if they are telling the truth now, they changed their story with not taking this to trial.

Unfortunately that is likely all we/you are going to get although maybe there are transcripts of the court proceedings with more detail and statements to come. Wouldn't count on it though the way this one went and how quiet they'd have liked to keep it all imo.

I hope so.
While it's perfectly understandable to me why all parties agreed to Alford pleas and that I'm already of an opinion, I'm disappointed that I don't have a better understanding of the facts and circumstances and evidence.

They really gave us little throughout that's for sure. I hope someone does a FOIA and gets all the documents, investigative notes, and what all can be released or should be.

And definitely I'd like to see transcripts of any interviews with mom and daughter, etc. and of the court proceedings.

We definitely agree on that.

I have not thought of this little boy in forever who imo never got justice even after death. But some things made me think about it out of the blue tonight. How sometimes and in many cases some of us are on the same page and other times we are not in our opinions which makes for great discussion or it can go too far like an attack that happened in JT a lot. This was one that for once someone was on the same page about with me, rare, not typical or even always someone who comments as to the case other than providing updates in cases but did here have a pretty similar opinion. It is sad that Braylen wouldn't have crossed my mind tonight other than recalling we agreed on this one. And it made me think of a time we did. A dead little boy who did not get justice here on earth. Couldn't find him in a pool 50 times over.... Fell or jumped from a third story window and then jumped up and ran off. Give me a break.

We also had others or another that I love and in one case we will agree and the next we won't who went on about how easy to miss someone in a pool, etc. They walked this pool, they went into this pool, etc., etc.

We all differ in opinions on different cases and I don't see anything wrong with that and are all adults. There are a couple of threads here lately that I think are a bit different in the normal back and forth and somewhat heated and even I feel with agendas by some. A good talk is one thing and even a heated debate. However,, it seems to be picked and chosen as to who is come down on.

Now that I am thinking of Braylen though, I want to forget that and haven't thought of him in some time, there are just too many. And we all care. But it reminds me that some believe every drowning is an accident so that makes it a great choice for a killer. Or an alleged or staged suicide or real one is another that often is just closed and some accept and don't look further into.

I love a good debate myself. And we are not always on the same page but may give it In one thread and in the next agree entirely in opinions two minutes later. That is just being an adult imo. It isn't that I am mad at you because you ate my candy bar and that means I disagree and hate you for life and that you will steal everything lol. One has to separate issues. I can dislike someone for one thing but love them for another.

Not sure what is going on around here it am not liking some of the vibes lately. And ALL are good people. The ones that talk anyhow. I don't know about all the ones that don't.

RIP Braylen and give my granddaughter a hug and play together. You are both not by choice in a FAR BETTER PLACE.

Amen and good night.

Some just fade away. Which is WRONG!!! The fact is there are TOO MANY!!!! I find it hard to keep up. That sounds terrible. But it's true!!! My heart is with you, my very dear friend. ❤️‍🩹

I know what you mean. It is impossible to follow all, and even recall all or keep them in your thoughts every day as there are way too many.

I've quit pretty much trying to understand some people and human nature and even what cases result in so much passion like a bunch of drunken adults on both sides and others get no attention at all. i've given up trying to get in the mindset or understand if of those who do the worst of the worst like RA or CB (LISK and Delphi).

Braylen did not get justice here on earth but someone will be accountable to God. They might not think so or believe so but they will be surprised to find out so imo. And in the meantime they get to live with it but it probably doesn't bother them, saving their own hides bothered them worse. This child was abused and murdered imo. Moved. Hidden. More.

Happy to see you, been wondering every day if you are okay just never got around to checking or tagging until last night, just too much like you I am sure as well, to keep up on all the life b.s. and more.

Do not ask me why but this little guy came to my mind and this case was just so, I do not even have words, but wrong and no justice and no adequate answers o,p// I don't knpw what it is but it's just been a week from heck and he came to mind, Amiah did and Noah and others.

Life gets in the way and one forgets but I believe in feelings/signs to a point and for some reason some of these cases are coming to my mind. Braylen. Amiah Robertson Some that sadly I forge names of but recall details. Noah Mcintosh, Andrew Freund, so many more.

But Braylen was the one who popped into my head this time and the total lack of justice for him. And then this little guy made me think of so many others.

No point really I guess, just giving it a bump and thinking of this poor child. And so many others. I am kind of thinking of a ton of them right now and I need to halt that and those thoughts.

And how these just become forgotten children. It is just so wrong. And in this case no justice resulted. Imo.

For SOME reason Braylen Noble crossed my tired mind tonight. Amiah does. Others do. But tonight out of the blue iit was Braylen Noble. And I am intentionally saying his name. Been sadly a lng time since he has crossed my mind.

And one that NEVER received justice. Probably never will. On earth anyhow. Hugs little boy. Heartfelt ones. No idea why this one cam to mind but when he did, I thought he could use a bump.

Amiah and so many others are now also on my mind.

Just not been a great week. And a bit very melancholy I guess as a result.

Regardless, this little boy crossed my mind, along with many others, and I thought he needed some attention/to be remembered. So many others too that I had better try to stem thoughts of right now as I have to head back to the work grind today.

RIP little boy, you never got justice and perhaps never will on earth, you crossed my mind out of the blue so just wanted to sway I am thinking of you and bump this one.

Again you crossed my mind out of nowhere in these early morning hours and I thought why not say as much because this was a case imo that never resulted in answers or justice for a little boy,.
