In response to this article. 1. I have been pulled over for it. 2. There is information that he was pulled over for expired tabs.

And it's just going to be just like Floyd. His family is assisting their family for lack of a better term. So people are going to zero in on that too. They make this kid out to be an angel. He wasn't. He shouldn't be dead. The warrant was for "Armed robbery". He held up a girl that let him and a friend spend the night for $800 rent money she had.

It's the assumption of that was the motive I don't like. IMO I can't see how that officer got the taser mixed up with a gun. Was she enraged by his attempting to flee with the seriousness of the warrant?. But there was body cam footage. It doesn't make sense. But its the assumptions that people making and they are doing things that are destroying and harming others that makes no sense.

I went to read this. ABC as link and then the video had a CNN Newswire over it. Well I have never not been able to shut off a video. I had it on mute and the sound continued and I hit pause a million times and it would not stop it. WTH?

So I heard the mother and then the mother of his child, etc. despite trying to stop it and read instead. Of note, the mom had to back up and insert the part about air fresheners as she forgot to at first. I do not know that I buy this part.... It seems to have come about after and it sure sounds far more nitpicky to pull someone over about such a thing compared to expired tags.

I am not talking about his death right now because clearly that is something to be looked into as instead of a Taser it was a gun so one definitely cannot argue there is something to be looked into there. However, just as far as being pulled over, I will say if you have a warrant and then expired plates and are out driving around, you are surprised you end up pulled over??

A year or two ago, I had paid for stickers ahead of time but had not received them yet. Even though I could prove they were paid and on the way, I refused to drive my car until they came and were on my plate. There is nothing else I would have to worry about but to me, it just is wise, it is a reason to be pulled over and I believe it is one of the most common ones and who needs that? They don't need you doing anything wrong in traffic and such to pull you over, your plate is not current. Just thoughts...

Yes, I read that over the rent money. I guess it is not like he was convicted of it yet. However, he did do things or violate bond after that and there was a warrant...

We can't make media and factions stop or if we can, I hope someone lets me know how. This is why though for me I separate the BS they are doing and try to just look at the incident with no race, no anti or pro cop attitude, etc. in each one.

I would like to know the last time this officer ever had to draw her gun or Taser and some different information like that... It doesn't excuse it as she is trained but I still would like to know. He also had some type of gun charge, I would have to look back, it may have been a condition of bond and he was found to have a gun and it was a violation? Something like that. I only mention it as if they found his warrant, it may have said could be armed? So she had a fear and reacted? This is my speculation entirely... However, these are some of the questions I have and would like to know more info on.

I agree GBear. I think at this point it should have it's own thread.
I have started a few various threads over time but it has been awhile and I am not good or quick at remembering how or finding the right category, etc. By the time I figured it out, a mod will probably have done one :) I do not know how to move posts to one either.

I agree. I have never driven with expired tabs. You should expect to get pulled over. No matter who you are.

I just can't take this anymore. This isn't my Minnesota.

Insertion of opinion here. :)

Black, white, brown . . . all skin colors. Dante was black.

His mother has a white skin type of racial heritage and his father has a black skin racial heritage. That makes him biracial.

I am blinding white lol.

My racial heritage leans towards Swiss on the paternal side and German on the maternal side.

I agree, he needs his own thread. :)

With all due respect. You can't blind white. The white part is dead too.

We vacationed in Minnesota when I was a kid. We loved it.
Right. You vacationed here. I bet it wasn't in winter. LOL. But as I got older the cold started to really bother me. And we didn't have these problems. I was brought up that it doesn't matter. I had friends of all races. Disabilities. I was brought up right.

I am pretty white/pale right now although not probably blindingly lol. When very tan which a number of years in my adult life I was, people do mistake me for Native American or Hispanic or think I have a lot in me and they did the same with my brother. That just goes to show ya though that one does not know by looking or color quite often anyone's mix or heritage.

And I do agree, in the pics I have seen Dante's skin color is dark/black. That's simply a fact. And what is seen with the eyes.
