Their primary argument will likely be how Judge Nathan ordered the jury to sit every single day of the final week until they reached a verdict.

That would have included New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, even though it falls on a Saturday and is a public holiday, and Sunday as well.

Maxwell's lawyers complained that such instructions were essentially telling the jury they needed to 'hurry up'.

Judge Nathan said that the move was necessary because the 'astronomical' numbers of Covid-19 cases fueled by the Omicron variant meant there was a real risk of a 'mistrial'.

How does he think this works? He claims that part of the problem with her accusation is that he does not sweat and when they inquire about proof of this condition he claims it's irrelevant.

He is first trying to get it thrown out re jurisdiction. What exactly is Guiffre accusing him of? The article says sexual abuse. If it was rape, that is a criminal offence but this is a civil case, I understand. In UK she was over the age of consent. Will need to check the exact date of this NY incident, to check her age but all I know is he said "Thankyou" afterwards, according to her.

I just can't get over his statement that specifically mentions it as a problem with whatever she is accusing him of then says it's not important when they say they want proof of it. Pick a lane, dude!
 


Guiffre's lawyer talks quite a bit in this. I wish the interviewer had asked him how much he gets. 25% ? Just guessing.

Also, do you have juries in civil suits?

There is quite a bit of info about all the Legal cases so far and the fact that Dershowitz got Boies off the lawsuit concerning his suit against Guiffre because he would be called to give evidence. This is interesting because Boies is one of the lawyers that Maxwell's defence were refused to call as a witness.

Maybe he can just call witnesses (Duchess of York?) who can testify if he sweats when dancing or other exertions. (Guiffre stated he was sweating buckets when dancing in Tramps nightclub. )

Out of interest, I searched separately for Virginia and Dershowitz in the Flights section of Epstein's black book and they did not ever appear on a flight together. I did not find Andrew at all but maybe he flew under a pseudonym.

Has anyone read "billionaire playboy club"? Virginia Guiffre memoirs explain how as a runaway at 13 she was with another paedophile before Epstein and details the three times she met Prince Andrew. They are available on the internet as a court document from 2019. Very graphic but informative.

In her memoirs she recounts 3 instances of sex with Prince Andrew, once in London (over age of consent), once in New York (age 17) and once in New Mexico, (over the age of consent) where they also went horse riding together.

Latest on Prince Andrew. He really needs to get this delayed until any appeal by Maxwell is heard. Not sure if that is going to be possible.

I believe so. It is written in the first person. Link is a couple of posts back, above. Warning, graphic. One of many things she says is that Jean Luc Brunel worked for Epstein.

It wasn't too graphic. I wonder how much of it is true though. After reading it I gained a different perspective of the dynamic between Virginia, Ghislaine & Jeffrey. If the excerpt is to be accepted as true then it explains why Virginia is still pursuing legal action .. self preservation & dignity imo.

Did you load and read document KK ? - it was 72 pages altogether. I thought it was graphic anyway so thought it best to warn about it. Virginia described it as hedonistic orgies at one point.
