Got my Masters degree from here. :(

Killer who stabbed 4 Idaho students to death still at large

The killer — or killers — who stabbed four University of Idaho students to death remained at large Tuesday, prompting many students to leave the campus in the idyllic small town despite police assurances that there was no imminent risk to the community.

So many students had left the scenic tree-lined campus in Moscow, Idaho, by Tuesday that university officials said a candlelight vigil scheduled for the next day would instead be held after the Thanksgiving break.

The students, all close friends, were found dead in an off-campus rental home around noon on Sunday, and officials said they likely were killed several hours earlier. Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt told the Spokane, Washington-based television station KXLY that her preliminary investigation showed the students were stabbed to death. There is no indication that substance use was involved in the deaths, Mabbutt said.

Anyone who can cold bloodedly stab 4 young people and then nonchalantly do a thumbs up after he has showered and washed all the blood from himself and his car is a dangerous murdering pyscho.

Did any info come out about the car re blood or anything?

It sounds pretty generalized to me, I did read it. What are they going to do with it, claim he stumbled up the stairs accidentally and his hand lost control of the knife, then fell down the stairs and lost control of it again, and the knife hot him killed 4 people, etc., etc..?

We know he drives, walks, talks, writes, types, etc., etc. I can't swear to it but I think this is the case where a friend said they ran together, long runs. I could be thinking of someone else with that one, not sure.

I'm not saying there is no such disorder, but again he doesn't seem to suffer many effects as an adult, maybe he did as a child, it's certainly no excuse. He's a licensed driver oh and he vacuums in the middle of the night. Seems pretty coordinated to me and that's just the things off the top of my head that we know or have seen.

I don't like the word disorder which seems to be used a heck of a lot these days with new disorders. I don't ever remember so much of such back not so many years ago, now it is so commonplace. Am I the only one that feels that way? Probably so lol. It always strikes me as if it means they sort of have something in many cases. It also said apraxia was the more serious form of it but some use the terms interchangably even so. Everyone who has it differs and so on. Again sounds pretty generalized.

I like your definition, a jerk that never grew up. Do they have a term I wonder for an evil POS.

I'm certainly not making light of anyone who has such things, I want to make that clear, but in his case, they of course are looking for excuses and there are NOT ANY for what he did. Allegedly did.
I think that disorder is a fancy label for clumsy.

Yah more good points, AND take a selfie too, far more coordinated than me. Heck maybe I have that disorder!

Not sure on blood and car. Been hard to keep up, with anything and this one is down on my list to 3rd or 4th but I try to listen, easier than typing. Scott had one on more DNA than thought but a lot of it was about touch versus transfer versus trace. Pretty impressed with this prosecution and LE so far though. I was not managing well at time, still not, not sure if I finished it honestly.

Yeah a clumsy jerk.
And my term is going to be a clumsy evil POS. I like jerk too, like them all. MURDERER. Allegedly.

Seems most agree in this one.

I've got to think on clumsy now that i think on it. That may make some feel sorry for him... It could sound endearing almost like Barney Fife being clumsy... Don't want that.

Brain is a bit slow. Took a very, very mild synthetic type pain pill which I don't think do sh*t but do have some effects or the pain does I guess. Nothing major and pred probably coming out of system and of course pain plays in probably.

Anyway I like the equation with clumsy with the disorder but putting this out there because, and maybe it is one of their purposes, clutz, clumsy, there's been a few "endearing" ones which he sure isn't. Just dawned on me now. Thoughts from any/all?

Just came across this 19 page court document that details what officers found at the residence. It also details how they traced the perp via his vehicle movements. Really interesting and any gory murder details are redacted. I have read it up to page 12 so far and the evidence looks to be very good.

Clicking on the link below allows it to be downloaded and read.

Having just read about two thirds of that document, he seems to have been incredibly stupid and made it easy for LE to trace him. Which of course i am very happy about for the victims families and friends.

Hope I get to it, unlikely today/tonight. I do know Scott said as I mentioned there is a lot of evidence and as things are filed we are seeing that, it's clear now why the D wanted the Amazon records kept out, DNA and a lot of things.

When this happened it was so shocking, and a ton of of course publicity on it and the parents very naturally reeling and it felt like LE was not finding the person or getting an arrest, I think we all want immediacy and who knew what the perp would do next, all were worried too, but actually it was a pretty quick arrest overall.

Yes, he was pretty dumb, I haven't read it but the phone, cameras, the driving in the area, leaving the sheath, tons of stuff too much to mention and I suppose that shows even more? Maybe it is what Scott had, is it a few days or so old, week? I drop off a lot this last week or two and I don't think I finished the show.

Yeah I'm content his goose is very likely cooked.

I watched a YouTube about these docs and the person talking about it said the same as you did. I have to say I thought he would be smarter, given his education, but there isn't a way to teach good ole common sense to most people.

I once heard a high up LE guy say that there are 100 things that can go wrong during a crime. If you can take care of 50, you're doing good.

Can I ask who you watched? I don't feel up to reading the document. And how long was it?

So true about the common sense.

Or maybe I did already, not sure. I know I watched Scott about some documents but I'm unsure as I think there's been new filings since then.
