JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

she would be advised of having to go through cross
Neither of these two are going to get on the stand unless there was a way they can/could be forced to in the other's trial and even then they'd be a wild card as to what they would say and neither side could count on it being beneficial. And yes, they'd go through cross that they could never win over anyone with. It would SURE be fun to watch though and the prosecution would have a field day were either ever to take the stand.

Because it is a circle and 100% is right next to 0% maybe? Like a clock. 0 minutes is right next to 60 minutes. Now I'm trying to make sense of it myself!!!!!!!
Not me. I'm not even going to think on this one. Either he forgot which was bad on his own scale, high or low, and had to change it to both meaning close to death to seem wise to his groupies and not like the bumbling toad he is OR maybe it is one direction for males and the other for females, who knows.

Think anyone is gonna file for jailhouse divorce after this?
I wouldn't be so sure. Maybe when they are put away for good, why bother to stay married then when it hits you it will never matter anyhow but then why get divorced at that point either.

I don't think this means she has turned on him. As I kind of said in earlier posts.

I was just thinking... They went through all this evil to be together forever and how long were they ever free to be a couple? Three months at the most?
That's a bit of sweet justice right there isn't it? And those three months were interfered with by people like Nate lol and chants of WHERE ARE YOUR CHILDREN nationwide or at least much of it.

I don't think it is as simple as Archibald makes out. Alex has the mind of a 16 year old, Chad is led astray by sex and Lori is mesmerized by Chad's religious teachings and the fact she is a goddess. This is definitely about sex and money though. Life insurance money and the Social Security income and being free of Chad's wife and Lori's husband and kids. It is no coincidence they are all dead, including Alex, 5 deaths within 5 months. 2manykids.
He just doesn't have anything, not his fault, but he doesn't. And Lori wouldn't let him go mental defense although imo it wouldn't have worked any better than it did in Stauch anyhow. There were FEW things Archie could use to show she wasn't involved as there is SO much evidence she was imo.

She has realised she is not a goddess after all.

The common denominator in all the deaths is Alex. Who controlled Alex - Lori.
is it truly her first realization that she isn't going back to the Hawaii beach and walking free? Maybe she believed their "god" would come in and save her and she just can't believe he didn't OR that the world would end today and she'd be removed from jail to lead the 144K...

These two never talked outright by text of ANY killings, Archie says, well duh. Did they say how about that plan for murdering Tammy, where are we at on that or how are you doing with planning a scenario when you can kill Charles? DUH. Of COURSE they never said that in texts, etc.

She's toast. That's why she's crying. Maybe her attorneys said it's not looking good for her or something, who knows? I don't care what she thinks I just want her behind bars for the rest of her mortal life.
Since I wasn't here what point was this at where she was upset? After her defense's closing? or after rebuttal?

Maybe they said it wasn't looking good for her or maybe she heard that someone said she doesn't look good lol. You know her and her concern about her looks... Jk.

Godspeed, jurors!

So I am still just catching up here. So the jury didn't get the case 'til like 3 p.m. my time or 2 p.m. theirs. So today wouldn't have been much time to do more than get settled and pick a foreperson, etc... And that's if Boyce didn't call it off for today at that point, I'll see as I read further I'm sure.

You know. Just pondering. Maybe the jury wants to settle on her verdict prior to Mother’s Day.
That's what I hope to see and thought of as well. But they would only feel that way if they felt she was guilty, to get it done to make a silent statement about her... That she IS no mother now (well she has Colby but she doesn't) and was a killing mother, not a good mother.

Are they allowed to deliberate late into the evening?

Looks like the jury stayed till 7pm and only had a 15 minute dinner break. They want to be done by the weekend I think.

From East Idaho News website -

7 p.m. Jurors have left for the day. They will be back tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. to continue delibertaions. I’ll be back too with more updates.

3:51 p.m. Lori’s defense attorneys remain in the courtroom but the prosecution team left shortly after the jury did. Larry and Kay Woodcock are here in their seats. Just spoke with Larry – he thanks everyone for their concern and is feeling much better. He’s watching videos on his iPad as he waits. Kay is chatting with Tammy Daybell’s aunt.

3:49 p.m. Jurors have left every day at 3:30 p.m. during the trial. Not today. They are still deliberating.

I think there is a good chance they will come back today. I think too they want to get done and probably didn't even want the day off Boyce stuck in there (I didn't either) and at THIS time!

There is the off chance they are staying late and going light on dinner time because there isn't agreement and they know they have their work cut out for them to reach agreement on all BUT I think OTHERWISE, just as you do, that they'd like to be done before the weekend and announce this "mother" guilty before Mother's Day.

I was happy with the prosecution closing and didn't think Lori's defense team had much or anything to sway. And I think rebuttal was best. This case is proven and I trust the jurors see it.

I am updating to predict today BUT it is a lot of charges and they didn't get it til late in the week and so my next guess would be Monday after lunch. It is over now but I am still irate about the day off, reporters, attendees like Larry and Kay and the attorneys and the JURORS I am sure would have rather just continued to have finished this this week so they ALL can go home. It may go to Monday just because of that day off.

BUT I feel it will come today. They may have even left last night in full agreement already and all set to come in today and finish the job and walk through it all one more time.

Letecia Stauch finally put away was HUGE and Lori going now will be even bigger and the world a better place with both gone. And it will have great import on Chad and Prior too and impart a lot of confidence I think that he will go away next.

Add in hopefully both Wests in that case and THREE states (more when one considers Lori's jet set lifestyle lol) will be a whole lot cleaner and safer. Well, I don't know that Cali could be clean(er) and Cali and Colorado are far from safe and ID is starting to seem the same but still it takes some big bad ones out of circulation for good.

How long did the jury deliberate on Stauch?

I am not even sure this should be shared or why I am sharing it as I find it a bit ridiculous. They are talking as if the jury has been out so long...? WHAT? And that the hangup is Tammy Daybell and whether Lori was involved.

They have NOT been out long and I think this is all a bunch of hooey and I have no idea what Geragos is talking of either. Lori standing up and yelling don't do it in court or does he mean she should have yelled don't do it as in don't kill my kids?

Not the biggest fan of this bunch but I'll share it anyhow. They have not been out a LONG time, longer than Murdaugh yeah maybe but it is a bit different case than that one and yes that one was very quick. But he got on the stand and hung himself too. They haven't even had a full DAY yet. Psheesh...

And the thought they are having trouble over the Tammy part I find pretty stupid. Lori wasnt aware or involved? She was shopping for WEDDING rings BEFORE Tammy's death! A dress on the day of her funeral. And so much more...

Experts. Okay.....
