JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

So they have 52 jurors!! So tomorrow the jury will likely be picked!

What is this b.s. about a motion for delay?! I'll have to look at that later. No doubt defense I'd guess. Probably a lack of an expert or some other claim, who knows...

Odd that filed a week ago I take it but jury selection and trial is proceeding or so it appears...

I don't know why all these things are being played near or on the eve or even during Chad's trial when of all times for jurors to see nothing, it is now. Most of the public interesting in following are hoping for time to keep up on Chad's now that all has started with jury selection and as much as I might entertain watching something on Lori at some point, I sure wouldn't now.

Maybe they think since the case is now news again with his trial more people will watch but I doubt it. People would watch whenever it was.I think it's wildly irresponsible since it sure looks like Chad intends to blame Lori and possibly Alex and here's a show of Lori's guilt...

I don't know, maybe I'm making too much of it but I can honestly say in these cases that I'm hard put to disagree with defense about the amount of publicity. EVery single family member whether blood or not of all involved basically has talked to news, to shows, to channels on YT, to reporters some over and over and over through years upon years. So has Mel P, Mel G, etc., etc. There's bee more publicity in this case and shows done than I've possibly ever seen in ANY case, even some other well known ones.

I"m watching Nate and then I'm hoping Linda comes on as well.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be made available here, not at all, I'm just wondering about Fox and the timing and all. WAsn't there another one some days ago up above as well? Don't recall for sure but think so.

I guess they are trying to hit the time when the case is big in the news again even if again most are more interested in keeping up with daily developments in Chad's I'd dare say.

So this motion was filed by a lawyer named Terry Redliff out of Mountain Home. I assume that's Idaho since it isn't said. Motion is sealed by Boyce until he can hold hearing to determine if it will stay sealeda and set the substance of what is in the motion for hearing. I got this from STS. One of their professional guests on says such a thing will probably or usually be some claim of exculpatory evidence or info. STS had on Adam and Rex as well, Lori's family and Adam says he's seen other cases this has happened in and someone tries to get their two cents in or affect things and it's likely nothing more than that and he doesn't see it stopping this trial. I'm paraphrasing him but that's the gist of it, he seems to brush it off or not think it's big.

However, an attorney filed it so it would seem to me almost that it's more likely some stunt or claim of some b.s. evidence no? It isn't like some average joe filed it on their own but an attorney or any attorney for someone.

Every part of me says it is a stunt by either Chad, Lori, both or by Prior or any combination. Who they put up to it though or how would be the question.

Or could it be someone who can't make it as a witness and so they ask for a delay? I doubt it and I'm entirely speculating with all of this but how would we have a clue since as usual, we have things sealed. Funny how leaks aren't an issue here nor do things leak or get shown before they are sealed as happens often in the IN Delphi case.

The jury pool of 50+ is done and Boyce proceeded. I guess today will show after picking a jury from that bunch whether Boyice sets all to start on Monday and if this motion is set for hearing first or during or if trial is to commence.

Perhaps an Odinist came forward and said it couldn't be Chad because he did it and sacrificed two white children's and a white woman. Sarcasm intended.

Whatever it is, it reeks without seeing it for the obvious timing and is defense related I'd bet on it whether that will be able to be proven or not, it will be obvious to those of us who smell the fish right off the bat with the timing of this filing.

I guess it could be some off the wall someone or somebody but who actually got an attorney to file it for them?

Interesting that almost a week passed before it even was known. It isn't unusual Boyce has not moved on it, he never moves on anything fast. I don't know if they KNOW he will set a hearing or they were giving what has to happen with normal procedure.

In summary, whatever it is is meant to throw a kink in the trial and/or give an appeal basis if ignored or some such imo. Of course every bit of every guess here is a blind one as we have no idea what it contains, it's purpose or from who it comes with what info other than who the atty is who filed it.

I could be way off base and it could be some nut who demands it be delayed until they can get their car fixed to attend the trial and watch and hired an atty to do submit his right to see it and attend and need for delay. Ha. Yeah right.

WhatEVER it is about, it asked for a delay of this huge, long awaited, time consuming, hard to reschedule, expensive trial and aligning of a jury pool who had been given their dates to attend and filled out questionnaires and more. That someone would attempt to delay that over anything less than some major and provable is despicable imo.

But again, every guess is a blind one.

Today should tell us if the trial starts on Monday. If he sets this for any kind of hearing just prior that day or during will we know it? One would think we should but then sealing and secrecy has become so common in some states. Sealing the document is one thing but having a secret hearing is another. I expect we will hear something OR will simply see trial commence as is expected for the moment...

Linda has made it I think four days in a row now. The last two she hits about midnight or so I'd say and they show up for me in the morning. Haven't watched it yet. She isn't like on at 7 or whatever for a daily like Nate each night but she's getting one done every day. Her take is always worth it imo and I never regret watching her for what she picks up on, etc. and points out.

So for all, and I hope to watch shortly but am also waiting for Daybell to start today so we will see.

OKAY just the first minutes of Linda's she has more on this motion than I've seen. This so sounds like someone from Chad or Lori's camp (even if that can't be proven) or one of them to throw a wrench in here. All parties received copies, requested it be sealed, etc. Expressed concern about the attempt to intervene, stop things, etc...

Oh I also forgot it was said on STS it sounds like it could be a complaint about media access by someone or as simple as that. Why then would it worry about the attempt to intervene... And seriously they'd ask for a delay? Not sure I follow that one.

Finished Linda. HIghly recommend. Just a short 15 minutes and she as always does an interesting recap, packs a lot in and adds some good lightness as well. Picks some clips from jury selection day each day to point out. Prior has a gf Lol. Per him a gorgeous one he does not deserve. He rambles. Prosecution much more on point and so on. For those of us who can't watch the entire day of jury selection and questioning each day she does well in hitting on the highlights. As we know, she knows the case inside and out and covered it endlessly back when and has tons of videos on it.

I had watched Nate last night but he didn't really much hit on any juror stories to speak of, but it was good and Linda got some of the motion stuff from watching Nate. But she adds her own things as to having watched the questioning all day too where Nate had Vinnie on last night, Nancy the night before and so on. Each brings something different is what I mean. I find it worth watching both. Plus Nate is there.

It was a light but info packed short 15 minute watch on Linda's.

Imo Prior is already setting up his case with the juror questions and ramblings he does.

All That Glitters is Not Gold. Meaning Lori was the Glitter and Chad the Cuckold doing things he wouldn't normally do led around by Little Storm...

I think that puts it nicely enough lol.

Good luck on that one Prior and Chad. So she stupidly helps him but they are going to throw her entirely under the bus.

The other night, two nights ago I think? Not sure any longer, there's been four from each now. Nate told hof how upset Lori got when Archibald called Chad's books stupid and how she refused to talk to him and it was obvious, etc. after that. She became visiibly upset. It was talk of how Archie was cut off at the knees as Lori does to men right? But he wanted dto defend and went that far in frustration probably (that's me, he didn't say that) feeling and looking like a useless attorney and she was very upset. It's too bad they aren't being tried together because when in this trial things are said that are things that would upset her, she won't be sitting there having to listen to them.

Unfortunately she's not in prison yet as she is in yet another county jail this time in AZ but I wonder if she has a way or access or time to watch Chad's trial every day all day....

Oh I almost forgot, Chad's nickname in jail is Slug. For those that haven't heard that less than serious legal kind of info chit chat....

Today has started. 1/2 late. Two jurors didn't show up. So far Boyce is just going on with all the lead in and info. Now they are being sworn. Time to get GOING PLEASE! First day I've had a chance to watch from start and I don't have THAT much time. Oh now more info and necessary I'm sure but explanation of voir dire etc. and juries... yada yada. Let's GO already!

has he not said this same sh*t to jurors every single day? these are jurors brought back, not new ones. i'm impatient I admit it. Not going to listen to Boiyce and dry stuff all day. I mean can't they tell me now, I will go do laundry and watch later. Psheesh.

Well I don't know what is going on so maybe someone following Nate's Tweets or those from someone there can fill in but apparently this is not the passed through group of 52 but a brand new group of first time jurors. No one seems to know the reason. So WTH ( I want to use F but that's not me) is GOING ON HERE?!!!

Again no one seems to have a clue. It's a great way to delay and not start on Monday I guess but no need or reason given. They HAD more than enough jurors so again and I'm going to say it this time, WTF?

Anyone?

BOISE — The judge in the trial of Chad Daybell sealed a last-minute request that both the prosecution and defense want removed.

The contents of the request are unknown, but it comes from an award-winning Idaho trial lawyer who is not tied to either legal team in the case.

In Tuesday’s sealing order, Judge Steven Boyce wrote, “Both the State and the Defense have raised concerns about the impropriety of this attempt to intervene-procedurally and substantively.” He wrote that both counsels called for the document to be sealed or struck from the record.

So he gets the case number wrong, has several mispellings/sic and did an eleventh hour filing but he is award winning? LMAO. What was the award for?

Is this someone who just wants or needs more fame or awards lol?

I find it hard to believe someone dind't put him up to it but then again it is sounding like it is just total arrogance and when in a stupor? So IF the conensus is right, this will remain sealed and not addressed or released until after trial?

I do just have to say are we sure this isn't someone Lori isn't seeing or corresponding with to get him to save her man?? Lol. It only says he is tied to neither side in this case....

I mean she will do anything for Slug. She had a hissy fit when his books were called dumb against her own lawyer.

Just saying...

SOOOOO though does anyone know what this b.s. was about with they had a pool of 52 enough to pick a jury today but instead they pulled in more new ones? WTH is going on with that?
