JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Well we don't get to see her opening until after lunch, meaning evil mom's. I'm sure there may be some reporting out about it already with the delay but I don't think I am going to try to multitask on this hitting various things.

Treena did a good job, great actually, in her opening. It was longer than some we have seen but necessary I suppose and jurors are usually pretty intent on their service and should still be fresh, just starting, even aside from the long arse sidebar.

Lori ALSO gave Charles' pills at a point, that was a NEW one to me.

Well Lori should be up pretty soon unless something else occurs. They sure have not gotten far yet. Imo. Watching on Nate thus far. I will give justin this he was filling air time during dead time earlier but then I went looking for others and landed with the usual for me in this one. I don't doubt things are coming out ahead due to the delay but don't have it in me to go look. Trying to get things done in between, not much, but some.

Maybe things go on behind the scenes, hard to say, Nate will cover that later tonight I hope. Meaning sometimes they handle things on lunch hour and such.

The jury can't complain, imo it has been and will be I'd say a light schedule so far although some may prefer to get it done.

If Lori takes the stand will she have to run back and forth from the witness chair and a lawyer asking questions of herself?
Yeah it's hard to watch full trials. These days anyhow.

I never want to give her any credit but this far, she hasn't done as bad as I would expect but it has only been opening statement and one cross so far.

I'm ready to nod off but not because it's dull, it isn't, I'm just wiped.

No, she has to give her advising atty a list of questions I believe beforehand if she testifies.

i have had to do summaries at times or the tweets but I prefer to see the real trials. I can't though usually but try to go back later and do so, at least the ones I most think are worth hearing, etc.

I do wonder what she tried to summon up for her "tears" in her opening.... The fact the Storm isn't doing it's thing with her... Can't see her face generally but doubt they were real, but voice cracking a bit, etc. At the right time of course..........................

I don't know... I was so going down but she just had like three objections lol, watching this one well.... Oh I'm sure it will be clipped and shown on shows, etc. but not the same. Judge has been attentive but he is VERY attentive right now lol... After one or two more he calls for a break.

Trying to be fair here, she keeps quoting things from the officer's report which is being objected to as hearsay which not sure I would have known....? And then she started kind of making statements and getting them in instead of asking a question................ P objected like 5 times or around that. And they are careful not to object very often...

It is a break not sure if will go to sidebar during break but Nate will be able to tell us later I would assume if he stays in the courtroom... She wasn't doing anything overtly outrageous or anything but most objections I've seen as she either does not know or is trying to get things in....................

Oops, I see you already answered

I might find myself in the same boat but for different reasons. Playing catch up I mean. I prefer to watch trials but when I was working in the last ones, I had to rely a lot on the Tweets and nightlies and as good as they are, they still are not like the live testimony, and I went back later to watch most.

Haven't paid much attn to weather things lately sorry to say. Is this due to spring sn*w melt I would assume? Or rains? We didn't have a whole lot of either this year. I do know there have been some tornadoes. You don't typically work weekends do you?

By the way I tried with the Nebraska thing but darned if I could get it. Tried for awhile. In the Sophia one. Stay safe.
Lots of rain. Torrential rains.
