JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

I didnt necessarily mean they have their own sites but just that dating was normal for Mormon men because they can have multiple wives right? Didn't mean to confuse but i thought some of her testimony a bit iffy. Like waiting 5 months to give Kay her condolences.
She didn't know Charles was dead for quite some time.

I also think she and Kay talked about more than came out more than likely, just as she and Charles likely did. I'm sure Lori wanted to go there but they are all walking a minefield of IF that door is opened... She wasn't going to tell Lori what else was talked about unless she had to imo. I didn't find her iffy at all, she was careful at times.

Who else could it have been if not Alex? Adam is obviously better looking than Alex is my guess. Otherwise i don't know what she meant. Why didn't she just say she recognised his pic from a dating app?
Lol don't know where I am at in here. Not sure if I am back behind where I was now or where.

Adam is better looking, no doubt there. She came in with that explanation later when it wasn't being asked, she wanted to correct her earlier answer of when she first "met" Adam. So it wasn't really explained as it wasn't even the subject matter when she said it. Like any normal witness she didn't want her previous response not honest and she had recalled it and kind of interrupted sort of another line of questioning to straighten it out. It wasn't however the line of questioning at the time and not where Lori's head was , she was onto otr so it never got clarified. That is the best I can explain it. It is clear in watching it that she didn't want to leave a wrong answer in place when she realized she had had other contact with him prior. So I take that to mean it was Adam.

Here's where the info about right handed batter, left handed pitcher comes from. It doesn't mention writing.

From Lori's opening -

1:32 p.m. Lori says she helped Charles with his job. In 2017, Charles purchased a new $2 million life insurance policy on Lori, she says. Lori says Charles was a baseball player, a left-handed pitcher but a right-handed batter. Lori says in 2014, their family moved from Chandler to Kauai where they lived for 3.5 years before returning in 2017.

She said that she didn’t know Charles was dead until she saw. I’m on TV in December. She thought he was ghosting her. That’s when she reached out to Kay.

I would say at least 95% of Mormons do not believe in having multiple wives anymore. I have Mormons in my family. Quite a few of them.
I'd only say there is an underground that still does imo kind of like when an old order splits from a new order for lack of better explanation. But the new order isn't because they chose it, it was forced on the religion as I recall it years ago that they could not have multiple wives. Some at least did not embrace that.

I would never knock all, plenty of good people grew up in that church in later years but the religion itself well I do have some opinions of. Not all in it are bad of course.

I agree on Kay. And how that went.

I don't think it was clear if we both got different impressions.

Well now i have seen it this morning, that's what i think. Just reading yesterday, I did not think that. I also don't believe she didn't know for 5 months either.

Actually, the part that had me kind of surprised about the dating sites and divorced people is that it used to be Mormon’s didn’t believe in divorce so I guess they’ve really opened that door, too. That has always shocked me about how Lori can nonchalantly be divorced five times and now she gets to judge NJ? SMH
It was eye opening wasn't it what a hypocrite she was being. Regarding the dating a married man part too. Trying to shame NJ.

I think divorce is still somewhat frowned upon and has to be approved or some such but yeah, didn't seem to bother Lori as to the church and divorce.

Here's a question that made me think of though, isn''t it the men who filed? With Charles it was I think with Joe it was...?

I've never seen it before. Did you post it on here at the time? - i obviously missed it. I don't know what it would look like if hit by a baseball bat.

He was adamant that Charles used his right hand (said it twice). I have read that Charles used a different hand for baseball bat and writing but can't remember which way it was. Anyone remember reading that?
I can't' recall if all was linked but the interviews and such were dumped some time back, I'd say years probably. Lots of stuff came. I know it was at least said on here, not sure if all interviews and all things were linked individually. I saw them all back when. I don't recall the specifics in all but enough of them and know I watched them all. My brother was a southpaw/lefty and an avid softball player. If I recall, he batted both ways and sometimes chose the other way because pitchers weren't always great and it sent the ball another direction and so on depending on who was being played and which member of that team was in the field where and so on lol.

He was always left handed in doing all though, writing, golfing and so on. Had left handed golf clubs. Pool. More. Just softball did he do that on occasion because of lousy pitches, etc. at times.

I thought she was nervous throughout the whole thing! Even though she was poised and direct, she had to have been nervous! I mean, she was facing a serial killer who she didn’t know what she might do or say. And I feel that the judge allowed Lori to talk too much. I’ve read that if you represent yourself, judges tend to let you get away with more. But I don’t think they should be allowed to intimidate witnesses.
Yeah it was said ahead of time we were going to see a lot of deference to Lori because of the pro se and the record, letting a lot slide.

I thought NJ held up to Lori very well but yeah, who wouldn't be nervous with an upset Lori and not knowing what was coming next from her... The P could object more but same reason as the judge and so long as the witness was holding her own very well, well Lori opening that door would let a landslide of things in.... But then she also has to protect by objecting, she really has the hard job as to how I think it was Rachel Smith explained what Lori being pro se does or causes for the rest of them.

I have watched and read - sorry I thought I said. She didn't advise him to change but advised him to tell his wife, I think.

Eta I checked my post and started it with " I have now seen her testimony" LOL.
When watching "live" the first time and one never knows then what is going to be said, I could have swore she said she advised him or asked him why not change it to your sister, it was hard to catch though. I've now seen it at least twice and I'd go back and look but have things to do plus it was enough for one day and night lol.

I know you said you'd "seen" her testimony but it still could have meant transcript lol so I was just clarifying as we seem to have taken the Adam thing differently, life insurance, etc. So I wasn't sure what you meant.

This has a video of them at BK at 07.54 in the morning and Alex did not call 911 till 08.37. Assuming 5 minutes to BK that means Alex waited more than 40 minutes to call.

It was just where my mind immediately led. People using an alias must be very normal. But she said it was someone else's name, like it wasn't Adam, IMO.
I agree that it wasn't clarified well. My mind never went to Alex though and I got the same impression as Kimster that this was far later on. The reason is it seemed to be after she found out about Charles for one and that was six months later and more, taking all of the testimony together led me to that. I also could only conclude without further explanation she realized it really was Adam, perhaps with an alias.

I tried a dating site like once in my life and one may as well call it for like one second. There were so many bad stories about them and the internet or whatever, way back. I can't recall if I put up my real name but I can believe I might not have, was scared to put my picture up, don't want to hint at address/whereabouts, etc. This is in just setting it up and within minutes I had hits and it scared me as some seemed pretty not legit. I think I quit that fast. Lol.

Anyhow, I don't think it could have been Alex.

None of us knew about this case until after the kids went missing. And even then it was a slow becoming aware and then reporters and such started digging into other things about Lori and such. Charles wouldn't have been in the news, no one would have known who Alex was at first, no one would have known about much of the rest. Adam well he would have come much later if was mentioned at all. Charles' case was pretty much treated as self defense and not big news and Lori didn't even inform people. Ivis totally believable to me that she didn't know until months later.

It's interesting you have a completely different take on it. Tammy''s death too came out as they dug and nothing was put together yet and most were still trying to figure things out and who they were and hoped the kids were alive.

I do think ONCE she knew she and her daughter have looked at all they can find on this case since and they have every right to do so. We all learned who the players were over some long period of time really. Even if Charles say mentioned Adam to her, she'd have never seen a picture or had reason to know who he was at that point.

You could be right but I dont see much reason to doubt her having followed all of it since early on. I think what you may be sensing is she knows a lot more than she said from Charles and since following the case and she was trying to be careful and avoid that and careful with her answers.

Seen it back when. Yah, she is something. I think JJ expected chicken nuggets or something on that order or would only eat that for breakfast or some such. This is one case I have followed almost everything on. Seen pretty much all of it. Not like it hasn't been some time with some of it, but have seen it, and have watched hours upon hours of other things on it, like relatives and more. Interviews. In those days I had the time and a need to distract self. Read documents. So on.

It's good to put them up though. New ones start watching now that a trial is on and just become aware of it and it gives them some key things from back when.

Lol it is why I look for any rare new thing in the trial, etc. or new nugget because in this case the public has had almost all dumped on them and it's been no secret as in some cases. Most is old news to many.

Colby just getting to courthouse. Hasn't seen Lori since 2023 at trial. Short, couple of minutes. Or I should say trying to get to courthouse.

I'm currently watching tweets by Justin Lum as Lori cross-examines her brother, Adam. Adam has said on his vlog that he hasn't spoke to Lori since she quit speaking to him WAY back. He testified today to the same.

Now checking Nate and this has been said by Adam on his vlog, but wanted to post in here for anyone who didn't know this before:
