JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

• April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
• December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
• February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
• February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
• June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
• July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
• August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
• September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
• September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
• September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
• September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
• October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
• October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
• October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
• October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
• Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
• November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
• November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
• December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
• December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
• December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
• January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
• January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

I hope she doesn’t plead on Brandon for different reasons. And I hope she is her own lawyer again. It shows her for the evil person she is. Brandon will confront her. He needs that closure. He needs a group of 12 to say she is guilty. He needs justice. She manipulated his wife. She and Chad told Melanie two of her kids were dark. I mean, this guy was destroyed. And Lori and Chad wanted his life insurance money. Yep, she needs to face a jury on this one too.

I don't entirely disagree here. I kind of in my own dumb way was trying to figure out earlier if it would bother me if she just pled guilty and went away. In a way I feel it needs to be finished out, every trial, although I am sick of her and the families need some peace. Her playing her own lawyer IS something to watch...

You are right that Brandon should have that closure. Each should have it. Sometimes I just need to type things out to think them through and get feedback. You put it well. And I guess it is just one more although I still have some slim hope others will get charged after it all but not counting on it.

Well you aren’t wrong in that it would save taxpayers the money. Maybe I’m for revenge. I would like to see Mel Pawlowski get roasted on the stand. I would like to see the Cox family pay up for their cover ups. I have no sympathies for them. Zero. I would like to see Brandon walk out to a presser with a big smile.

I could not be friends with one of them. They are all a bit off and strange. Who agrees that murder is ok as long as you are elevated. I even read somewhere this week that Lori will have a chance of doing better in her next “probation”. The poster was serious!! Who the H believes that crap?

Then she started describing the twists and the various people and the States that were covered. Whew. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. I love when Justice faces these evil people.

I so agree with you. Known more than one man who like cranks his head if he sees long blonde hair, and then they turn around and a hard face but they don't even notice lol. Tammy was far more attractive than Lori. I'll never understand why some can't see that.

She though if she lets it through her filter and LEARNS for once in her life, found out in this trial that a jury of almost all men she had absolutely no effect on. I think that may be one of the best things yet. She got to use her sickening baby voice, she got to dress as if not incarcerated, she got to do all of such and it did NOT work on them. I see her as a hag too. Without a hub's money, botox, and you name it she looks even older than her age.

Beauty truly is from within but some types never get that.

Funny, hag is the word that comes to me for her too.

People can be gifted even with physical beauty, not sure I would really say she was, but let's just say she was, you can't put all your store in that because every single one of us will age and if that is all that matters it will fade. The man who goes for it will go for someone new and younger and the woman who thinks it will always do the trick ages, and so on. It's a stupid person who does not realize that. Imo. Nothing wrong with trying to look good if you have that but you have to have a soul, a heart, a brain and more than that. Not sure I am making sense but I know you know what I mean.

None of the ones killed deserved it.. I would dare say even Alex. Not that I don't think he was their "hit man" as I believe he was but he was played too imo and I will never believe his death was natural.

And yeah Chad is a toad with a very thick throat his buttoned up shirts almost threaten to choke.

I'm so not the type to go after physical appearance but these two VERY MUCH deserve it! I love storms but wouldn't want to be around his storm with her no way, never, ever.

I heard he was there one day, but can't swear to how many, don't take my word for it, not sure.

I can't help but agree on the Coxes. I TRY to cut Adam a break, he did the right thing but I honestly wonder about ALL of them.

One place I may disagree with you slightly is I don't like the 12 mill Brandon got and don't know the status with the kids and him and Melanie now and the money. I wonder about a few things outside these charges and trials.

I'm not saying one way or the other on the outside ones that are more so like Adam or Brandon but my mind can't quite put some things to rest there.

Haven't seen you in a bit so not sure if you know of what I'm talking.

And boy I do get revenge, I get you there. If I thought God would forgive me, well with revenge some people would not be safe. I think murder wrong so they remained safe from me. That's the difference I think in those that cross that line and those that don't.

I have a problem with the religion. I'm not going to say all in it are bad, of course all aren't. But I'm not young and I know enough and remember enough and do listen to people and look at things rather than just taking something as fact.

I wouldn't leave my kids or grandkids if young with a single person in that family. NOR a Melanie, NOR any other we have ever heard of. How has Jason Mow escaped all these cases? Julie Rowe?? Maybe they weren't involved and Chad and Lori just use and threaten with them but I doubt it somehow... There is SO much more here imo.

I don't want to knock the religion but none of us are the special ones in the last bunch when the world ends. They are. And so many of them use the end days to make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and do seminars and podcasts and you name it. I could go on about it but I won't because not supposed to but I have watched a TON on such.

Definitely are some very twisted people and following crime one really learns that. The thing that has always stopped me in my life from the worst of sin is believing I won't see my lost loved ones again and that it is morally wrong and you won't see them again if you commit that worst sin.

Even for those that don't believe in religion or have different religions, right from wrong isn't hard to fathom. Imo. You don't' kill for NO good reason and then make up things that justify it. Or make them up beforehand. And try to recruit minions and do a cult.
