JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

Well thank you. I seriously have never heard the term. I don't like buzz words as a general rule but I can't deny such does go on. So the thing it describes does happen. I think it fits here very well. Listening to Colby has been a process as he seems to realize things and I would say this fits, that word. With Tylee. I have seen in my world this kind of relationship where the kids are the ones relied on. Colby does say his mom didn't favorTylee so Tylee always wanted to win her favor. I'm not sure as a teenager but generally over the years for sure is what I recall him saying.

These new words keep getting created. I'm too old for such to keep up lol.

I haven't watched this but did just start it. I am putting it up so the thread has such things on it for the future. I haven't had one of theirs come up for me forever until today.

I swear I clicked this one but I guess both are relevant to be fair.

There is a lot of friction in this family in the sense of extended family for sure, and different perspectives. They talk the cousin Megan, etc. who I go back and forth with... Colby also talked how some not directly in the family don't know what they are talking of which I took to mean extended family. Even in the direct family there are issues. As Adam puts it there is a LOT of division in their family, in their extended family and so on. So far it is worth a watch and man have we seen this through the years.

Just a reminder I think court starts earlier this week at 10 a.m. Phoenix time.

10 till 4 and no court on Fridays - is that right?

Plus Read but i think 1 more day of jury selection, before opening statements, I think right? That will be Boston time.

It is at 10 Monday and Tuesday, then it goes back to 10:30. Not sure why. No court Fridays is correct.

He did. He took JJ and put him in the car seat. Then realised he had left his phone and went back in. That's how it began.
Oh yeah! And that’s probably about the time Lori started reading all of the messages from Nancy Jo.

I recall from somewhere Summer being involved in telling Lori something and having Alex there. I'll be darned if I know where I got that from but I have always thought it. So Silver Linings is still on? It never comes up for me anymore. I wonder if I unsubscribed? I really wasn't getting much from it so I may have.
OK, I watched the opening statement from the prosecution again tonight and in there she says that Lori and Alex texted about that they thought there was going to be an intervention. There is supposed to be some evidence of texting coming up about it. That should straighten us all out on that part.

I think I saw on something that it was a few days later cops took the phone. I was thinking it was immediately but apparently not. It may have been in that one Tresir reposted that I recommended a rewatch where it is Adam all freaked out and talking to LE about the murder.
The cops had the phone when they were talking to the landlord. I was listening to that interview this morning.

This is the one I listened to last night. One thing that they brought out and as far as I’m concerned, it’s true, Adam has never changed his story once. Not even a little bit. Every time I’ve heard him talk about it. It’s always the same.

In this old interview with Zac, he says Lori was telling the family that Charles was trying to kill her for her life insurance. Zac says she was always accusing Charles of what she was actually doing, not what Charles was doing. He also clarifies that Lori had Charles‘s phone for “a few days” after Charles was killed. It appears she was using the texting information on the phone to further create a divide between the family vs Zac and Adam.

On Nate? He was replaying some stuff, I got in there after the video started. Yes, I agree there is more to come. Nate previewed some text messages before trial even started too. So though we are wondering it is not concluded yet for sure. There are a ton of texts, not sure what all they will use or can get in.

Linda has her feed up for tomorrow already so I am linking it.

In hearings, out of ALL the things Lori wanted, she wanted that phone the MOST. Found that interesting. I knew the cops had it, just not exactly when. So she had time to look through it clearly back when she had it.

Yes, that's true. I heard that too. Listening to him back when yesterday was worthwhile to me. I haven't always "loved" their podcast when it started and their episodes. Just being honest. It was good for me to hear him back when very upset and relisten to that. I haven't had Silver Linings pop up for me in forever but it did and so I listened yes to that as well.

I can't even imagine for family as I'm so weary of this saga and Lori for instance. I'm glued in but it is so past time she shuts up and goes away. I trust you know what I mean. It's been a long hard road, far more so for family.

Hmm, not sure I have another one in me tonight. I can bet I saw it back when. I tell myself all this stuff is out there for later review if need be. I do recall Zac talking. And I know I stand with Lori knew of Adam and Charles talking, etc. I may give it a listen. Trying hard not to overdo it lately. I feel on the edge with crime stuff. I get to that point sometimes. Laughing at some of Lori's things last week helped lol though.

I do recall her saying he was trying to KILL HER for life insurance, projecting.

Okay. Listening. She didn't ever need the bathroom either being such a "being'. I can tell already it will be worth the rewatch. There is just so much coming back up that it is overwhelming though.

It goes back to things like Julie Rowe and Jason Mow and others. It has always stayed with me how they were never really brought in here... As well as the church.

This is good, and relevant. I just don't know how to keep up though with all the new things re trial and the old things coming back up. Lol but not. Worth a watch for sure. Do know I saw it in the past. This case has just been sooooooooo much.
