JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

I wouldn't generally share Court TV and at first I thought since I have seen this juror before I'd already probably heard it, but it is different so sharing it because of the juror.

Okay. Not the last. For those who don't know Annie, she is likeable but she can be hard to follow. This is actually a short one for her. 30 minutes. Usually hers are hours on end. She does analyses with like key search words and has tracked all of the trials and info. She was Joe's sister who was Lori's third husband wasn't it? Whose death is also a bit questionable but said to be from natural causes. She is likable enough but she hems and haws enough and can go on for hours in most of her videos and none of us can take that or have the time.

I said in a thread recently I am not into stats much and things like that but she is tracking and has been like the word zombie and things related through all the messages, LE dumps, and so on and trials with some program she does or tweaks as she goes. She did attend trial.

I'm sharing it because she will put things together probably later and even though it is not always my cup of tea, back when, and how she shares about Joe and what their childhood was like and more and for anyone interested I guess.

Lori may very likely have had something to do with Joe's death and imo and the opinion of most Alex's. Neither will likely ever be charged. Both are ruled natural causes.

Anyhow, she is a caring and very nice lady imo, Tylee's aunt, but she can be hard to watch and most videos are hours upon hours long. I couldn't believe this one was just around 30 minutes.

I’m exhausted and I’m headed to bed, but I tried to fast forward through Nate‘s broadcast to see what Brandon had to say and I didn’t catch it. Does anyone know? I did catch snippets of jurors and Kay and everybody. Just not Brandon.

No, I never saw anything with Brandon. I watched maybe 3 things. No Brandon in any.

Kay said in one of the shows, I think the one with Justin, that she hopes Lori loses her baby talk and learns to speak like a real woman when she is in prison lol. Thought I'd say that for anyone who didn't see it.

I did not entirely understand Lori stipulating to aggravating factors yesterday. I took it to mean she agreed to them which is not like Lori? I just listened to someone who said this means she won't have to hear from the people who would help show the aggravating factors, one of whom he figured would be Kay.

I'm still so relieved over this verdict. I wasn't overly worried but a lot of people were in it because the jury didn't have all of the information we did. It does go to show yet again that juries are smart and take their jobs seriously most of the time. I know we've seen an aberration or two over many, many years but mostly they get it right if the case is there and the prosecutor does their job.

I'm relieved for the family of Charles. I'm relieved that juries see and can put together circumstantial cases. It was said that two were on the fence until like the last day. The texts were crucial as was wrapping it all together I believe. Many viewers I think also were on the fence until that day as to whether it was being proven.

I wonder how Brandon's will go in comparison. I suppose also they will have to keep out any other case? Can they bring in Charles because that is before right? Brandon is alive to testify so that should help and they do have the video of Chad and Lori doing was it the tire and seat of the Jeep at the storage unit? I suppose maybe he will be able to testify too to how Mel B/P was falling for Lori's stuff, turning against him, and so on.

One thing I noted in chats throughout this trial is tons of people are upset that others haven't been charged, like the Mels. And that Chad hasn't been charged with more or this one, etc. or Brandon's.

Just trying to sort my thoughts and process I guess. Some people journal, I type lol. It helps me sort them, then feedback does too.

My biggest takeaway is juries. I feel they get it right probably 99.9 percent of the time. I hope it stays that way and on one ever decides it is not a serious thing to do in life. So much else HAS changed. I feel we almost need two or three different trials to be safe on someone staying in prison these days and that's sad. They release people that should never be every time we turn around it seems like.

The way I look at it is most DAs do not like to charge unless they have more than a solid case and evidence. Therefore, MOST things that go to trial, the evidence is already there. That makes for a GOOD case if the prosecutor can get that across to a jury. And as I've said most juries are smart and take the job seriously. I do think they compromise sometimes when there is more than one thing to choose from and if they don't easily agree. We ended up with second degree when to me it was clearly first degree but they had that choice.

There is a lot I gripe about about our system and in some states more than others as well, but I do trust juries and have faith in them.

My last comment or takeaway for now is watching Nate's viewer comments above. A lot of people were invested in this case and are happy with the outcome and that was just a sampling.

No, I have one more, go figure right, lol. She so thinks she can con people and she had her chance here and the evil witch got shown she doesn't have it, it didn't work, she could not flirt her way, lie her way, con her way through it. I AM GLAD she represented herself so she can sit with the fact she "doesn't have it". She is a has been and one that probably never got anyone if it wasn't weak people or with sex and being younger. I am also glad the jury WAS mostly men as that can sit with her too, that she was unable to fool them or baby voice her way into their hearts or wherever. That's another thing so many out there were worried about. Lol.

The comments? Most are ready for her to disappear into prison and to shut up just as we are.

ONE MORE TRIAL. I hope the judge and the prosecutor get a few days off. Not sure that they do but they deserve them.

Just heard that only ONE juror was LDS. There's a lot more out there I probably haven't found, this is from a summary by someone. Three jurors talked some.

I kind of thought she stipulated to the aggravating stipulations because she thought “oh well might as well”. She’s not going anywhere. She was probably having an attitude.

:thankyou: Exactly what I was looking for. I must’ve fast-forward it too much.
I haven't seen him in person on anything I've watched. Brandon. I thought you meant an interview or something but when i saw the statement I thought well, there's that at least, so shared it. I sometimes get irritated Nate separates out some things lol but it has its benefits too I guess.

You're welcome! I try. At times. LOL.

The guy I watched thought she just didn't want the people up like Kay telling of such. But you may be right, who knows with her? She must have already assumed the verdict was guilty.

Tell me would you be disappointed if she pled guilty to Brandon and just went back to ID? I'd like her to just go away myself but on the other hand, I guess I'd like to see what all they have for that...

Doubtful she'd do it anyhow but I didn't expect her to stipulate to aggravating factors either....

I have no problem with her pleading guilty in Brandon's case and going back to Idaho. I'm sick of her and look forward to the day that this thread is a ghost town. The only reason I keep up with it is because I'm this far into it, may as well stick with it to the end.

I know what you mean. I love that all on Chad is silent ever since convicted and can't wait until she is the same. I don't think I'd have a problem with her 'FESSING up and pleading guilty and saving everyone but part of me feels like every other trial had its day and maybe Brandon's should too but everyone is truly ready for her to go away and probably no one more than the families of the victims. Probably a dream that she would do so though. Plead guilty I mean...
I guess
This thread dead, trying to imagine that. I have never looked but guessing it is probably the longest thread here. I mean there was so much in it and so many murders.

Yeah, I can't not stick it out either. That is a LOT of time of our lives invested in this one. Not the only for either of us over years I'm sure but this one took a LOT.

It's kind of why I was talking of what all the family members will do with their channels because when this is over I really don't want to hear about it any longer. I'd maybe still watch some of them but not if it will be all about her, etc. All cases need ends and this one maybe even more than most. There will be more books and shows I am sure with the ending of it all and Brandon's trial.

I get torn, like right now I am not going to miss anything a juror or prosecutor or anyone has to say but on the other hand, I (family more so I am sure) have had my fill of it. Like you said, I've invested in it I guess from the start and need to see it through.
