Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *MISTRIAL*

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

Two people have been charged with assault after a heated confrontation involving the blogger known as "Turtleboy" outside a bar in Canton, Massachusetts, on Sunday.

Police were called to break up the fight outside CF McCarthy’s and D&E Pizza Sunday evening. NBC10 Boston cameras captured Aidan Kearney, the controversial blogger, on the scene on Washington Street.

This comes as tensions in the town are elevated over the high-profile Karen Read trial. Read is charged with second-degree murder, accused of striking her police officer boyfriend John O'Keefe with her SUV in January 2022. Her defense team alleges that she is the victim of a conspiracy involving a law enforcement coverup.

Kearney has covered Read's case extensively, advocating on her behalf, and is facing legal troubles of his own - he is accused of intimidating and harassing witnesses related to the case.

Cellphone video shot by Kearney's girlfriend shows the confrontation, which includes a woman approaching Kearney and ripping his phone out of his hands. She confronts him, saying "enough is enough," calling him names, cursing at bystanders and saying that he is harassing her family, referring to the Alberts.

"Why are you so involved in my family's life? Why don't you mind your own business?" she asked.

"Because they killed John O'Keefe," Kearney fires back, pushing a theory put forward by the defense that O'Keefe was killed by members of the Albert family who then used their law enforcement connections to cover it up. O'Keefe's body was found outside the home of Brian and Nicole Albert, though the prosecution maintains he was never inside and have denied the claims about the Alberts.

Canton police confirmed on Monday that two Canton residents have been charged with assault and battery on Kearney after Sunday's scuffle. They were identified as Jillian Daniels and James Farris.

Daniels has ties to the Albert family, and according to statements made in court by Trooper Michael Proctor, the former lead investigator of the case, Daniels is also close friends with his sister, Courtney. NBC10 Boston has attempted to reach out to Daniels for comment and have not heard back.

Farris told NBC10 Boston he had no comment on the situation.

How did they do that then? Did they know how much she drank, the strength of the drinks and over how long? Plus her body weight would be needed too.
And when she had her last drink, which could totally skew results. It doesn't appear that they even asked her when her last drink was??? IF they didn't, then their entire calculation would be off. Just again, another thing they bumbled on, whether on purpose or not.

Was there a SERT team report or no? Someone said there wasn't one.
Lally did not introduce a SERT report into evidence. If the MSP has one, we'll probably never know.

*edited to add the MSP report was completed a year after the incident and the testimony of MSP Tully discredited the evidence he said he collected. Lally did not introduce the report into evidence.

Did the cops take a blood alcohol sample from the accused, the night/early morning of the incident? If so, what was the result?
Yes however it has never been shown when her last drink was so the blood sample was sent to a lab to try and determine what her BAC 'might' have been at 12:45am on January 29th, 2022.

As the highly publicized trial entered its fifth week, jurors heard from Nicholas Roberts, who analyzed blood test results from the hospital where Read was evaluated after O’Keefe’s body was discovered. He calculated that her blood alcohol content at 9 a.m., the time of the blood test, was between .078% and .083%, right around the legal limit for intoxication in Massachusetts. Based on a police report that suggested her last drink was at 12:45 a.m., her peak blood alcohol level would have been between .135% and .292%, he said.

Yep. What I've been saying all along. If Chloe was indeed a trained seek dog, that is exactly where she was trained to grab the assailant.

So we have any clarification if she was?
Per Julie Albert's testimony, Chloe was a rescue she found from a woman in Texas. No testimony or evidence provided confirmation if Chloe had formal K9 training.
