Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *MISTRIAL*

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

I don't know what you mean "no pics or video till way later"? They have pics from the video of the flatbed they put the car on. And the video in the sallyport. That's the same day as he died.
where's the pic on the flatbed that shows the severely damaged taillight?

You mean the same port video that does not show that side as it's being brought in but they incorrectly claimed it does?

There will be a buffer zone around the courthouse for Karen Read's second trial that extends to a larger area than the one originally set for the first trial. The order from Judge Beverly Cannone comes in response to a request from the commonwealth, which requested the buffer zone that was granted for the previous trial be reinstated and extended.

Read is accused of hitting and killing Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe, her boyfriend, with her SUV in January 2022. However, her defense team claims she is the victim of a law enforcement cover-up. The case has drawn widespread media attention and the last trial featured large crowds of protesters gathered outside the courthouse each day.
During the last trial, protesters were prohibited from demonstrating within 200 feet of the court complex in Dedham, which includes the Norfolk Superior Court building and the parking area behind the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds building. This time the same rule will apply, but the buffer zone will also be extended to an area marked by Bates Court, Bullard Street, Ames Street and Court Street.

The court order said this is to ensure Read's right to a fair trial. There is concern that jurors could be prejudiced or intimidated by the messages of the protesters. Chanting, yelling and car horns could often be heard inside the courthouse during the first trial.
The judge also ruled that no one will be allowed to wear buttons, photographs, clothing or insignia related to the case inside the court during the trial, and law enforcement officers who are testifying are prohibited from wearing their uniforms or police emblems inside.
Jury selection in the second trial is set to begin on April 1.

From the above - this is the buffer zone with a screeshot map that I did below to see the streets mentioned.

I am FAR from caught up here, lots to read but I AM up on the case watching hearings, etc. This is going to be a far different trial than the first. Imo.

Brennan is GOOD. Her defense team is lucky they aren't off the case. Jackson for sure, and sent back to his home state of Cali. And her and their little publicity stunts and interviews got the P saying she breached her own atty/client privilege, even before this team of lawyers she was doing such.

A case with her talking to Turtleboy for goodness sakes. I mean if she wants to take the stand, TAKE it but she won't, they get things out or try to in other ways, thru interviews and YT stunts, etc.

Anyhow have been keeping up mostly, and watching most of the actual hearings.

Very divided opinions in this one. It happens.

The videos show it though. Plus the missing sneaker and tailight pieces were found in the snow. Plus she admits the damage too, before the car was taken in.

It will all be discussed in the new trial anyway. She is not believable at all IMO.
agree entirely. it's all out there.

i've said my piece in here over time and don't come into it all of the time, she's as guilty as RA is in Delphi but it does show how a PR thing can change opinions or use the idea of wrongful accusations and a made up story one needs to find the someone else did it defense.

I've also said before both sides need to give. I think honestly she did it drunk and vengefully but proving the vengeful part, maybe not so easy.

I don't know that i'll catch up, saw just a couple of posts where I landed when I came in but I also agree that i feel so badly for his family.

I've said before too that Proctor deserves his sh*t but that doesn't mean KR is innocent.

She KNOWS she did it, and she is not believable. She is as unlikeable as Lori Vallow Daybell Cox to me. Jmo.

And that this case has become what it is, well, that's another subject altogether.
