We haven't seen much at all on this case to know that they haven't been treated that way.
Yeah, no disagreement here because little has been shared. They may have and they may not have been treated in any such way.

Only reading between the lines on the bit of facts we have/can do is about all we can base this one on. Anyone of any culture though is capable of the same any human is. I haven't went there in this case as there just isn't enough other than judging on leaving a child alone which we all have done and I've seen you do as well (the judgment I mean). But being young and naive with young children you can not realize the dangers. But in the same breath, considering they moved here, etc. from somewhere else, one would think she'd be more worried about such things. To the rest of the world, America has sex trafficking, school shootings, bombers, violence to no end...

Pretty sure they wouldn't be insisting on taking one of that wasn't happening to them and/or they had anything to to with it. Why are they even having to request taking one on the first place?

Almost every potential child abduction / suspicious missing child case I've seen ever, the parents are polygraphed. And typically early in the case. Even if they're not suspected at all. They'll do it even to rule them out or "just in case". I guess I just assumed they were given one and we weren't told about it. Maybe they didn't find it necessary because they had video of Lina walking on her own, and mom searching for her? To hear they haven't done one after more than a year is very surprising though.

SAN ANTONIO – The father of missing 5-year-old San Antonio girl Lina Khil took a polygraph test in an effort to clear his name.

Pamela Allen, CEO of Eagle’s Flight Advocacy & Outreach, who has been working as the family’s spokesperson, told KSAT 12 News that the Khil family found out Tuesday that the FBI would be conducting the polygraph instead of San Antonio police. It’s unclear what went into that decision.

Riaz Khil was seen leaving the FBI field office after spending hours inside Tuesday afternoon.

Isn't or wasn't it the mother that was at home with her and left her out there...? Not saying he couldn't have been home or things we've been told couldn't be false or he couldn't have been there but just asking isn't that what we've been given as the story....?

No, the mother was there but lost sight of her as she (Lina) headed in the direction of the parking area.

Right but yet he is the one concerned about a polygraph or that they are looking at him...? Meaning is what we know the truth... Or the whole truth...
You said “the mother left her out there” and while that’s repeatedly reported, I believe it’s inaccurate.
About the father, he wasn’t there, that is, I believe him that he wasn’t there.

We don't know if she is demanding one or not.

I wasn't wondering about her. I was wondering why they'd suspect him or why he'd feel as if they did if he wasn't home/couldn't have had anything to do with it. As to her, yes, you'd think she'd be he one they'd want one from and no mention of her.

That's what I recall hearing, that she went inside for a moment with another child wasn't it? I don't really have any set thoughts in this case, never have had although I tend to suspect someone in the complex or visiting the complex even though they searched elsewhere as well.

Yes, and I know she allegedly saw her after but by the time she came back wasn't she disappearing around a building or some such?
Yeah, It seems my impression was that the mother expected her to have come from around somewhere/something...and then when she hadn’t reappeared, she went to their apartment thinking she might be there.
As for how long before had the mother been back with the water, I’ve never had any impression about that.

Nearly two years after Lina Khil’s disappearance, family advocates and investigators still plead for tips

Nearly two years after Lina Khil was reported missing, investigators are still looking for clues to find her.

On Lina’s 5th birthday, an age-progression sketch was released by Eagle’s Flight Advocacy and Outreach. It gave her family hope but hasn’t helped authorities find Lina.

“It’s frustrating to see that this family is going through this and experiencing this frustration as they are right now,” said Pamela Allen, CEO of Eagle’s Flight Advocacy and Outreach.

Allen has gotten close with the Khil family and has seen their frustration firsthand.

She said the upcoming anniversary of Lina’s disappearance has been tough on the child’s father.

“He’s not wanting that day to come,” said Allen. “He wishes that law enforcement would talk to him some more. He wishes that there was more leads to go on.”

San Antonio police say Lina was last seen at a playground at the Villas Del Cabo apartment complex in the 9400 block of Fredericksburg Road on Dec. 20, 2021.

San Antonio police refused to make anyone available for an interview but provided this statement:

“After nearly two years investigating the disappearance of Lina Khil, the San Antonio Police Department remains committed to following-up on and investigating every lead that we receive. The lead detective continues to use all tools available, including working with our partners at the FBI to investigate all leads. SAPD would like to take this opportunity to ask anyone with information on Lina’s disappearance and/or whereabouts to please call police.”

Former FBI agent Abel Peña said his nonprofit, Project Absentis, is also trying to help find Lina.

“There is somebody out there that I am 100% certain knows what happened to Lina,” he said.

Both Allen and Peña say Lina’s father believes his child was abducted.

“He remains extremely hopeful, optimistic that, you know, one day he’s going to be reunited, both him and his wife, be reunited with Lina,” said Peña.

It’s the only thing the Khil family is holding onto.

“The family’s been grieving since since she disappeared,” said Peña. “And I think it’s important for that person who does know something, you know, to come forward.”
