I saw the new post and new case and debated hard about coming in here to see. I mean infants don't run away or wander off.... So that alone says something. And INFANTS are not kidnapped almost ever unless by the other parent despite what sensationalistic bs would have us believe as to baby selling or whatever so I knew before coming in it was likely bad and the parent; or parents.

I caved and did and lo and behold. Not surprised.

You know can anyone not get all into and messed up on drugs and NOT bring a baby into this world??? Can they do that ONE thing in life RIGHT???

Birth control isn't hard to get or non existent as it was not so many decades ago.

You drug, you screw, you have probably an infant born addicted, it is a problem and then you kill. Get your effing tubes tied. And do NOT get me wrong, I am NOT excusing the man/men. Zip it, keep it in your pants if you don't know what a condom is or can't figure out how to put one on.

RIP little girl. EIGHT MONTHS. Makes me think of Amiah Robinson, a pet case. I think she was eight months.

Pics aren't everything right but I think the pics also as they say say a thousand words. Nice mug shots and a dead BABY!

And what is with the third person??

I did not go into articles or links, was not even going to come look at the thread so my comments are assumptions on what I read here.

Look at those mugshots. Total winners. Not. Then look at that tiny baby who is, with little doubt, dead and never cared for nor protected.

And I should NOT have even looked at this one. But on the other hand, ignorance and not looking and denial solves nothing either, hard as all types of cases can be. People saying nothing and doing nothing or not pointing out things or standing up for wrong just lets more of it result.

Eight months old..........

Miya Tucker was last known to be under the care of her parents, but police said they could not find her during the welfare check. Family members said they had not seen the baby since early May.

Police described the parents as uncooperative and said there is a chance the child is in the care of other family members.

She has not been seen by other family members since the beginning of May, a Kentucky State Police spokesperson tells Fox News Digital. Child protection services had been looking for the child and then called police when they couldn't locate her, the spokesperson said.

The girl’s mother, 29-year-old Tesla Tucker, and her father, 30-year-old Cage C. Rudd, were found at a motel in Owensboro on Wednesday with no information on the baby’s whereabouts and in possession of a large amount of drugs, including fentanyl. Owensboro is about 25 miles west of Reynolds Station.

"[We] tried to interview the parents, and they're not being very co-operative with our investigation on this," Trooper Corey King of the Kentucky State Police told Fox News Digital.

He said they don't know where the child is and say there is a possibility she is with other family members.

"There's a lot of possibilities when it comes to something like this," King said.

Troopers arrested and charged the pair with drug trafficking and possession as well as the abandonment of a minor and child abuse. They are being detained at the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro, Kentucky State Police said.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The search continues for 8-month-old Miya Rudd of Reynolds Station, Kentucky. One of her grandparents and another man were arrested Sunday night.

Around 8:45 p.m., her grandmother, 49-year-old Billie J (Rudd) Smith, was arrested and charged with second-degree domestic violence assault.

Smith had an active warrant for her arrest since October 2023 from an incident in Daviess County. She was arrested and is now in the Ohio County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.

Kentucky State Police said Miya was not with her grandmother.

In a later update just before 10 p.m., KSP said they arrested 37-year-old Timothy L. Roach of Owensboro. They said as they were entering the Smith residence’s driveway, they saw Roach throw unprescribed Suboxone under his vehicle. He was arrested along with Smith and is also in the Ohio County Detention Center.

Roach was charged with second degree possession of a controlled substance and first degree prescription controlled substance not in a proper container.

In another update on Sunday, KSP said that Miya’s parents, Tesla Tucker and Cage Rudd, and her grandfather Ricky Smith, are set to appear in the Ohio County District Court in Hartford Monday morning.

Anyone with information on Miya’s location can contact KSP at 270-826-3312.

The investigation is ongoing.

Pretty sad when an 8 month old is missing and a family reunion is taking place in the jail.

Court documents show that Tesla told Miya's maternal grandmother, who has custody of all Tesla's children, that social workers and officers went to Tesla's home on May 1 and removed Miya. However, authorities confirmed that no social workers or police had gone to her home to remove the infant.

Happening Now: KSP using cadaver dogs to search for missing baby

Kentucky State Police have a search team with cadaver dogs in Reynolds Station.

Troopers say they are searching an area on Hardin Lane for missing eight-month-old Miya Tucker.

It’s near the Deanfield Church property, which is about half a mile from the home Miya lived in with her parents, Tesla Tucker and Cage Rudd, and her grandfather, Ricky Smith.

Also a bit concerned about how long she's really been missing and/or what kind of care (or lack thereof) she had since the only pic i've seen of this supposed 8 month old baby is as a very fresh newborn. Most people in these days have oodles of pics of their wee ones, or at least their family does. Has this poor baby never had anybody???

Her aunt saw her on April 26. I think this aunt is Tesla's sister. I'll see if I can find where I saw that.

I am just certain that Best Used Tires is where Cage and Tesla had lived. So for all purposes, I'm thinking they're searching the woods and such towards the end of Hardin Lane.

So if the April 26 date is correct, and mom told maternal grandma that she was "taken by CPS" on May 1 - there's about 5 days of unknown there.

Maternal grandma apparently has custody of all the rest of mom's kids. I wonder why she didn't have Miya.

I haven't actually watched this. Owensboro Times on FB. It's a live interview.

I'm not sure if I'm even buying that the aunt actually saw her then. Could be what she was told to say it it also could be wishful thinking. I might be a bit more inclined if we could see ANY current pics and not from the hospital bed newborn pic. Nobody in that baby's family took a pic of her???
