Woman missing after leaving with estranged husband who’s accused of attempted murder in other case​

A Winter Springs woman is missing after police said she left her home with her estranged husband, who was arrested on attempted murder charges in a separate case a day later.

Police said Shakeira Rucker was last seen by her children around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday leaving her home in Winter Springs. Her family told police she left with her estranged husband, Cory Hill, to an unknown destination.

Police said her family has not seen or heard from her since and believe she may be in danger.

Central Florida man accused of murdering estranged wife trying to get evidence tossed​

A man accused of murdering his estranged wife and hiding her body in a storage unit is trying to get much of the evidence against him tossed out.


His lawyers filed a motion to suppress all of the evidence found inside that storage unit, including Rucker’s body, bullet shells and DNA samples. They say the deputies who first went into the unit did not have a warrant.

Hill was in court Tuesday. The judge did not rule on the motion to suppress but set another hearing for October.
