Okay. I should be out the door but HAD to come in to say this. AS I was about to shut my computer down, Joseph Giacalone, show I had it on, retired NYPD sergeant, said tomorrow in this case is going to a be huge and is hearing at least THREE victims will be added to CB's docket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a good one everyone. Give me something to read in my cases on breaks. Please. Lol.

Scheduled for tomorrow a.m. Read below his show and he says indictments for Jessica Taylor, has that comma and then I don't see the rest of the names. If you go right below the video there is description always in a YT thing by the creator and more detail. And he said "brand" indictments. I am guessing he meant "brand new". He is retired NYPD sergeant and I doubt this is b.s. he is the one who said above such would be coming tomorrow as well.

has anyone else ever been in here, seen this or had a chance to search because others then are probably saying as much, any NEWS saying so? Or anyone else?

If there are three new victims he will be charged for, we have ONE killer and boy does a lot change...

He is flat out calling them new indictments coming tomorrow. He cannot be the only one that knows because he wouldn't be claiming something he can't back up.

More retired NYPD saying a new victim and more charges, so not sure if three victims or three new charges or what. According to sources of course. Dury Ron also does NOT do gossip or unverified sh*t for the most part but is according to sources. I have not watched but this is coming from channels that are former NYPD and sure the heck have the connections to know... None are saying what or who other than of course figuring Jessica Taylor...

None GENERALLY would risk their "status" and jobs they did and who they know for some b.s. or leak so I can only guess some how this can be verified. The alternative would be they would do anything for views but I have not seen either ever do that. In fact I find the Duty Ron show pretty dry because he won't even speculate to discuss a lot of the time.

On the other hand I've seen b.s from those wanting the followers come from a few other former cops in some big cases they jumped on YT with.

Before I start to wander, I am going to stop and it seems this has some basis and some legs.

Other cases are going on and in trial but tomorrow sounds like it will be a huge LISK day...

Okay, just starting to watch and Mike Wallace thinks proof with researching the home of bringing Vergata there... and that may have led to Jessica Taylor etc... Wow. Not verified yet of course but...

They just said the DA Tierney SAID tomorrow we will see the fruits of that investigation! Just saw him on camera saying such. SO why hasn't that been news here? Straight from the DA.

And then Duty Ron is saying John Ray went on Court TV last night and basically said how he said his witness had reported Karen V had basically put her hands on that front window, they took all or part of that window out for investigatory reasons....

Is no one following any of this? I'm lucky I even saw such. And the DA has SAID tomorrow fruits will come..!

@Tresir @Cousin Dupree and ALL.

I hope it's Vergata. Have only found this so far. Doesn't give any victim names.

This DM article says it is Valerie Mack and Jessica Taylor. They went missing in 2000 and 2003 respectively.

Great news whoever it turns out to be.

Not familiar the name offhand. If I ever did her it back when, I've forgotten it. Commissioner of where, NYC? Or another agency?

I have always felt it one killer myself. I do allow for POSSIBLY one or two may have been by someone else but I honestly have always felt it was one killer, not a copycat and not some random second serial killer both unaware of the other. Just one. I don't recall all my reasons but yes one was just the areas and I just felt also like he would have changed MOs or learned or whatever even if some of the victims varied and their disposal and whether whole or in parts all varied and so on. Even varying to a child, a mother and an Asian male, all or many seemed to have similarities in that many were not reported missing or at least were unable to be identified, were also sex workers possibly and even likely, and still much in common. Like I said, don't recall all the reasons but definitely was and is what my gut says. Today I also think it highly likely CB is good for murders in other areas as well... Like out of state...
I know that Dormer was the Suffolk Co Commissioner when the first four victims were found and for some years later, I don't know how long but he participated in a series of videos about the case detailing what all he could about the circumstances surrounding all of the cases. Btw, I forgot to mention Karen Vergata among the other cases (at that time, she was unidentified) but he believed she was killed by the LISK, also.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the announcement of other charges!

This article says he is going to be charged with Jessica Taylor and Sandra Costillo murders. Costillo has not been included in the Gilgo beach victims before. He is to appear in court.

Suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann will be charged in the murders of two additional women when he’s hauled back to court Thursday, sources told The Post.
The hulking Manhattan architect-turned-murder suspect will be arraigned on an indictment in the 2003 death of Jessica Taylor and the 1993 slaying of Sandra Costilla, sources said Wednesday.
The remains of Taylor, a 20-year-old woman working as an escort in New York City, were found in a wooded area in Manorville on July 26, 2003. Her additional remains — initially labeled “Jane Doe No. 5” — were discovered on March 29, 2011, along Ocean Parkway.

Costilla was murdered in 1993 but had not been included among the so-called Gilgo Beach victims — until now. Investigators suspected convicted serial killer John Bittrolff in Costilla’s death, but he was never charged in her slaying — which remains one of several unsolved Long Island murders.

Heuermann, 60, is already charged in the deaths of four other women whose remains were found dumped along Ocean Parkway on Long Island’s South Shore.
The married Massapequa Park dad was arrested on July 13, 2023, in the deaths of the women, who are known collectively as the “Gilgo Four.”
He was originally charged with three of the murders — Megan Waterman, 22; Melissa Barthelemy, 24; and Amber Lynn Costello, 27 — until January, when he was charged with the murder of a fourth woman, 25-year-old Maureen Brainard-Barnes.
The Heuermann home has been searched twice since he was arrested.

Who were the Gilgo Beach victims?

Suspected serial killer Rex Heuermann — a New York City architect and married dad of two — was arrested in connection with the long-unsolved Gilgo Beach murders. The arrest is tied to the so-called “Gilgo Four,” women found wrapped in burlap within days of each other in late 2010.
The years-long investigation that led to the arrest revolved around the discovery of more than 10 sets of human remains along Ocean Parkway near Gilgo Beach in Suffolk County between December 2010 and April 2011.
Most victims were petite female sex workers with green or hazel eyes. But there were also two exceptions: a 2-year-old girl and a young Asian man.

Melissa Barthelemy, 24

  • Barthelemy was a sex worker who lived in the Unionport section of the Bronx and dreamed of one day opening her own beauty salon. She was last seen alive in her basement apartment on Underhill Avenue on July 12, 2009. Heuermann was charged for Barthelemy’s murder in July 2023.

Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25

  • Brainard-Barnes was living in Norwich, Connecticut. She went missing after taking an Amtrak train from New London, Connecticut, to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan on July 6, 2007. Her remains were found in December 2010. Heuermann was charged for Brainard-Barnes’ murder in January 2024.

Amber Lynn Costello, 27

  • Costello, 27, was a sex worker and heroin addict who lived in West Babylon, New York, at a home with a woman and two men. She advertised on Craigslist and Backpage to support her and her roommates’ drug habits. Costello was found on December 13, 2010, after having been last seen leaving her home September 2, 2010. Heuermann was charged for Costello’s murder in July 2023.

Megan Waterman, 22

  • Waterman, a 22-year-old mom of one, was last seen on June 6, 2010. She lived in Scarborough, Maine, and earned a living as an escort. She was last seen by her family boarding a New York-bound Concord Trailways bus in Maine. Her body was found on December 13, 2010, on the north side of Ocean Parkway, near Gilgo Beach. Heuermann was charged for Waterman’s murder in July 2023.
6

Jessica Taylor, 20

  • Remains belonging to Jessica Taylor, a 20-year-old woman working as an escort in New York City, were found in a wooded area in Manorville on July 26, 2003. Her additional remains — initially labeled “Jane Doe No. 5” — were discovered on March 29, 2011, along Ocean Parkway.

Valerie Mack, 24

  • Valerie Mack was 24 years old and living in Philadelphia when she went missing. She worked as an escort, using the alias “Melissa Taylor.” Relatives last saw Mack in the spring or summer of 2000 in Port Republic, New Jersey, but she was never reported as missing to the police. Her partial skeletal remains were found in Manorville in September 2000 but were initially known as “Jane Doe No. 6.” More bones were found on April 4, 2011, along Ocean Parkway.

Unidentified Asian man

  • The skeletal remains of a yet-to-be-identified Asian man were found along Ocean Parkway on April 4, 2011. It is estimated that the man was between 17 and 23 years old at the time of his death. He was approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with bad teeth.

‘Peaches’ and her daughter

  • An African American woman’s partial remains were discovered in Hempstead Lake State Park back in 1997, and she had become known as “Peaches” because of a bitten tattoo of a peach on her left breast. On April 4, 2011, police uncovered the remains of a toddler, who was about 2 years old at the time of her death. DNA testing confirmed that one of the skeletons was that of the 2-year-old girl’s mother, “Peaches.”

Karen Vergata

  • A victim previously referred to as Jane Doe No. 7 has been identified as 34-year-old Manhattan woman Karen Vergata. Vergata is believed to have disappeared around Feb. 14, 1996; two months later, her legs were found in a plastic bag at a park near Fire Island’s Blue Point Beach. At the time of her disappearance, Vergata was believed to have been working as an escort. Two sets of Vergata’s remains were identified in August 2023.

Shannan Gilbert, 23

  • Gilbert was a Craigslist escort who lived in Jersey City, traveled with her driver Michael Pak from Manhattan to meet a client, Joseph Brewer, at his home in the Oak Beach Association on the morning of May 1, 2010. She spoke with two neighbors before disappearing. Her body was discovered in a marsh near Oak Beach — about half a mile from where she was last seen alive — on December 13, 2011.
Cops said they found a concrete, sound-proof room in the basement where he kept more than 200 guns during the first search of the house last summer, with a second warrant executed last month.
Suffolk County prosecutors said Heuermann was linked to the slayings through general DNA matches — including from hair found on a discarded pizza crust and on an energy drink his daughter threw away.
Investigators also used cell phone towers to pinpoint calls Heuermann allegedly made to the victims, who were sex escorts he solicited on Long Island.
The case sat dormant until the start of 2022, when former NYPD chief Rodney Harrison took over as Suffolk County police commissioner and vowed to reopen the case.
Sandra Costilla6

 Rex Heuermann's home6

He was identified as a suspect about two months later.
Brainard-Barnes was the first of the “Gilgo Four” to go missing, disappearing in July 2007 after taking a train from Connecticut to Grand Central Terminal, with her body found in December 2010.
Barthelemy disappeared in July 2009 and was also later found along the lonely stretch of the waterfront, where the remains of Costello and Waterman were discovered in late 2010.

Great news whoever it turns out to be.

Giacalone claims THREE. I believe he meant three more victims, maybe he meant three more charges but think I was victims. I linked it above, I am pretty sure he meant victims. Duty Ron knows of one, he perhaps may not go out there even if he suspects it is more, he's a bit overly cautious imo.

Now you have one that says two. LOL.

Vergata, Mack and Taylor is the thought. Ray was on Court TV as well about the window... Some of them put down Ray Soo bad and Duty Ron was one that made fun of him and put him down much, one should listen to him now. The guys on Police Off the Cuff did as well. And in both cases the viewers got on them about it. I HOPE Vergata is ONE of them for that reason and others! AND the impact there would be from that because it would SHOW Asa was present!!

What do you think? Post a comment.
Costilla?? That NOW then (if fact) puts him active in 1993!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That article said hair was found on a pizza crust and energy drink lol. The qualify of some reporters and fact checkers and proofreaders these days is dismal.

So where was Costilla found and why was she not considered one of them all?

I see Police Off the Cuff came on last night too and they said TWO victims. They also are retired NYPD. All three I have named or shared are. With of course connections...Even then though it shows you their info varies as one said one, one said two and one said three lol so it is tight on info.

You know with Vergata, they only were JUST back to the home and if they are using the GJ for every victim, that window for instance and any results would not necessarily be done yet or put to the GJ... BUT they perhaps have put other things to them as time goes on, I so do not know how GJ stuff works... Could the GJ for instance have heard the Karen stuff and requested a warrant be issue for another search of the home? Is it ongoing even with one case or do they sit for one case and then that's it, that case is done or can it be ongoing?

His show is just less than an hour from now. Guessing the minute it is over. I like him the best of the three retired cop shows mentioned. He is the one who said it will be THREE.

Linking again.

Yes NY is ahead of where I am in time. It is only 7:43 here. So much for sleeping in on a day off. I always hope to buy wake up earlier always than wanted. However, I at least get 5 or 6 hours instead of 3 or 4 as is sometimes the case during my work week.

I tell ya I will be happy with ANY but I hope it is THREE. Costilla is a bit unexpected, most were thinking Taylor and Mack for sure and possibly Vergata and so on whether one, two or three, those were the names most speculated.
