The number of the devices was staggering. Hard drives, phones, computers, CDs/DVDs, etc. And since we've been told a new burner phones for each kill, yeah, that's staggering! The info was coming so fast and furious I couldn't keep up nor recall now, I just know each item there were a TON of, far more than ANYONE would own if they had kept every single one they'd ever had.

I was watching a news channel thing awhile ago and a woman in chat said she attended the hearing today and that he was stone faced and emotionless as he was charged with these new ones. Sounds like Chad, the most recent we have been watching with no emotion.
I'm not surprised but still am reeling. I've always felt it was one killer and that most if not all were connected and done by one perp. I think profiling to a point can be not the greatest thing always because not all stick to the same type of victim, the same MO, etc. And he was reading books of a fed agent to try to confuse with his crimes imo.

He definitely changed what he did over time and that's another thing many don't think an SK will do. They may to a point, learn and change over time and refine things but their victims usually stay the same type or sex, their fantasy, etc. But again that is profiling and generalizing. He had a list as to types of victims and the "small" was on it. But so was a T, black, sometihing. I think we are going to find he did the Asian and Peaches.
He had on the list to watch out for and ensure no hairs, DNA, etc. and YET the hairs of three different females in his life were found on these victims AND his own. Confirmed now daughter's was one, that was said but never CLEAR, Asa's more than one and now some female we never knew of he lived with before Asa...
When things have been so silent and not shared, so much came out today it was a major whammy. I started realizing yesterday something huge was coming because for Joe to be saying so, he would not go there without a basis. Then after him came Duty Ron and Police Off the Cuff, every single one being retired NYPD. Never though did I expect we would get this much info and even Joe was reeling when he got the affidavit or whatever it was, I was watching him live.
And I think it is only the TIP of the iceberg.......
This guy is effed up and evil. No way either did anyone living with him for decades not pick up on anything, I don't care if sent on vacation or not. If anyone I was married to or who was my father kept me out of the basement, uhm, that would just have the effect of what is so special and when gone I'd have to check it out... Just for STARTERS. Like you, and I know I can assume this here because you say as much, I am waiting on Vergata. We now have a whammy of a 1993 victim AND the fact he took victims into the home. Not a huge surprise to me but now confirmed. Next will be if the Vergata story is true. And IF it is, it places ASA there and with knowledge. Not on vacation at that time, hadn't even had Victoria yet.
Another thing I am waiting for is kills in other states because I have little doubt he probably did kills elsewhere...
I don't know what God will do with the likes of Burke or his cronies who ignored this and never cared to do a thing about all of these murders but then maybe he will never see God... It sure isn't for me to say, we aren't the judge but I'd sure be worried if I were him or anyone else who did nothing about these murders of these sex workers...
I don't KNOW if she is related directly or not but if they ever connect Gilbert, OMG will that be a day. And it will show a lot more than CB always on his own which I believe he was for most of these. The Vergata story though and Shannon's shows a glimpse of more than ONE sick perverted person and things going on on LI... Shannon was getting away, calling for help and was hunted down. Imo.
Perverts run into and know each other, that isn't that hard to believe. Every hub that goes to strip clubs sees the other hubs that do the same there. We can't know all of these will pan out as him but it would not surprise me one bit...
