TN ADRIANNA & JENNIFER WIX: Missing from Cross Plains, TN - 25 March 2004 - Age 2 & 21

Adrianna and her mother, Jennifer Wix, were seen together between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. on March 25, 2004. Jennifer's live-in boyfriend, William Benton, initially stated Jennifer and Adrianna left home with an unknown individual.

He later altered his story and said he and Jennifer had an argument and he dropped her and Adrianna off at an Exxon gas station near Exit 112 off Interstate 65 in Cross Plains, Tennessee. After five to ten minutes, Adrianna and Jennifer got into a white four-door early 1990's model mid-size car, at a gas station near Exit 112 off Interstate 65 in Cross Plains, Tennessee.

Benton stated Jennifer went to their home, without Adrianna, the next afternoon. She was driving the car she'd gotten into the previous day. She asked for her income tax return but her boyfriend's parents were not at home to give her the money so she left and said she would come back for it. She never did.

Jennifer and Adrianna have never been heard from again. Neither of them had any personal items, money, or extra clothes when they disappeared.

Jennifer and Adrianna may still be in the Cross Plains area, or they may have traveled to Florida. They are believed to be in danger, as it is uncharacteristic of Jennifer to be out of touch with her family.

Hopefully they get some answers and justice. Been a long time coming. There's been a lot of years though to have covered up or moved evidence, etc.

I wonder who they got the warrant/cause. Two possibilities, maybe while in jail he stupidly shared things with another inmate or whoever he domestically assaulted knows the truth and turned on him?

Anyhow, some real movement and I'm praying as well as I'm sure everyone else is too that this results in arrest AND them found.

While it would be best if it was movement on this case and finding them and getting justice, let's look at the fact there's trouble in their lives now and hope that leads somewhere and ends up heavy justice and perhaps in the long run, justice for the girls. Maybe, hopefully, it is the start of something leading elsewhere. Keep praying.

@Cousin Dupree This is a perfect example of family not sharing as investigators ask or suggest they not. As I mentioned in another case.

As far as what is going on here though it IS and did allow a first search warrant into their property and lives whether related or not. And so, the Bentons are now having to deal with some stuff. and I'm going to guess even though not what is wanted, that brings SOME small bit of something to the family of the girls.

Pray. It's a bit of a door that opened some if not widely. And the Bentons are facing some troubles of their own after likely causing them for years for others...

Well it may not be for murder but if it sticks they seem to have him every which way for a ton of other charges and hopefully he will never again see the light of day. Every day will be the upcoming eclipse for him! His sun shall always be blocked I'd hope.

I’m thinking about that photo on an electronic device from 20 years ago. Did Jennifer find it? Did she confront old Joe and he got angry and hit her and harmed her? Because Joey was at work and supposedly got a call from someone in the family, I think it was his mother, and he left work. I think that’s how it went. It’s hard for me to remember because I haven’t been in the throes of the details in this case in a long time.

I 100 percent agree. And I hope they get that and we see that but I'm sure they're thankful and I am that there's big movement here and SOME justice for SOMETHING on its way and doors now opened to chances of finding them and a lot more.

You know the case and them far more than I do but at least he is where he belongs whatever the reason. Finally.

I should have read one post further but I'm wondering too was this photo of her child? The year would be the same year they disappeared. This man KEPT this photo for 20 years on some device?! it sounds like they had some pretty good access already and he sure has a ton of charges (I did look at/glance at the long list, sometimes I do get to or can hit links and take a quick minute to read lol I just don't get to do all or can choose to) but yes with what they found it could certainly result in wider reaching warrants.

I do worry that after all this time they may have been moved, taken care of and may never be found but the man was dumb enough to keep an electronic device with such a photo all these years and so he could be dumb enough to still have the bodies buried there. We can certainly hope and pray they are found.

He looks like some kind of sexual pervert cult leader. I want to attack and shave him and then put his head in a bucket of water and hold him there until dead.

I am reacting over what I'm sure he likely did to these two and what they suffered.

And my impulse and urge above is the nicest of my thoughts that barely may be allowed here to pass without incident and I dare share.
