Got my Masters degree from here. :(

Killer who stabbed 4 Idaho students to death still at large

The killer — or killers — who stabbed four University of Idaho students to death remained at large Tuesday, prompting many students to leave the campus in the idyllic small town despite police assurances that there was no imminent risk to the community.

So many students had left the scenic tree-lined campus in Moscow, Idaho, by Tuesday that university officials said a candlelight vigil scheduled for the next day would instead be held after the Thanksgiving break.

The students, all close friends, were found dead in an off-campus rental home around noon on Sunday, and officials said they likely were killed several hours earlier. Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt told the Spokane, Washington-based television station KXLY that her preliminary investigation showed the students were stabbed to death. There is no indication that substance use was involved in the deaths, Mabbutt said.

There was other new stuff before this but I just ran into this on. They seem to be arguing autism, etc. re DP. Not going to stay in it as I can't but putting up for later or for others.

I'm listening to Nate on their drive to the courthouse and he is going to cover this one and he says this hearing that is live right now and that it is an important evidentiary hearing. They would be streaming it but because of Daybell, they need to be sure that one streams.

Anyhow, important evidentiary hearing, number one,
and two, he is going to cover this one and trial, etc. Not sure I knew if he had decided on this one yet but now we know.

I never heard him say he had decided, either. I'm glad he took it on because I can't watch during the day and his reviews in the evening are very informative.

I agree, I watch basically all of his shows and never really heard him say for sure before and it sure sounded like it was his next so to speak and a decided thing.

When working too I have relied on his tweets and nightlies and thank God for them. I try to go back afterwards in trials and watch if not all at least some of the witnesses but doesn't always happen.
Kind of why since so far I have managed Daybell I try to say what is worth it or not so people can choose as to which witness to watch, etc. if limited on time as we all are.

It was for June in Moscow as they wanted it while school was out but yeah got changed if I recall, and moved. Not near as clear on this one and details. Have stayed up with most until recently. Lots has been going on in it recently I know that.

This documentary on the upcoming trial for Bryan Kohberger for the Idaho murders of four college students aired after the Super Bowl. We’ve been working on it since last year.

Part 2 will air in early March followed by part 3.

Ret. Det. Cloyd Steiger and nationally known attorney Anne Bremner provide some key insights into the case along with a forensic psychiatrist who doesn’t mince words when explaining possible reasons for Kohberger’s actions.

Looks like part two was released today.

Part 3 is here:

More things and decisions going on in this. Haven't been able to keep up with perfectly but I can say this much--judge is ruling against defense in quite a few things BUT the defense doesn't have anything and I can't believe that some are falling for some of this D b.s. in some of these cases. Listening to a few I trust to no end that are an atty or ex LE the defense is scrambling, they don't HAVE anything as more and more comes out on the evidence the P has. zon

Listening to a show right now and as he says this judge is NOT pro P, he is pro LAW.

The defense is trying to get rid of course of the tons of evidence.

The bushy eyebrows are going to be allowed is one decision. So are if I caught it his Amazon purchases.

The defense is desperate. Maybe Taylor is a good atty but the evidence is coming and she has a guilty client imo. LE here DID their job.

I am not entirely up on it but I'm up on it basically or somewhat and could share some but just catching up myself.

The vehicle and phone evidence just nails him completely IMO.

Watched a video on this recently and the evidence keeps piling up and coming out I guess. Yes, most are saying they have a lot and it just keeps coming. The guy, a fomrer detective, said also that people who do not think that DNA is huge are wrong, that it is very big plus the ton more. Yes, the vehicle and phone but the purchase of the items too and sent to him. He tried to erase his Amazon history too. I forget what all but there was more. Defense is looking desperate in the opinion of most and trying things that are likely to fail.

Judge rules lawyers cannot mention Kohberger’s autism diagnosis

A judge ruled on Friday that Bryan Kohberger’s lawyers cannot mention his autism diagnosis to the jury unless he takes the stand in his defense.

His lawyers said mentioning it would explain what might be perceived as odd behavior while he sits at the defense table. The judge disagreed, stating that his demeanor was not relevant.

Judge rules roommate of slain Idaho students can testify suspect had ‘bushy eyebrows’

The surviving roommate of four slain Idaho University students can testify that the intruder she witnessed enter their off-campus home in a ski mask had “bushy eyebrows,” according to a ruling released Friday.

Boise Judge Steven Hippler gave the green light for the eyebrow testimony after a tense hearing between the prosecutors and defense, who have been battling over what evidence will be permitted during the August trial of murder suspect Bryan Kohberger.

If you can't testify about what a suspect looked like, where would THAT end up? I feel like the defense is lost on this one.
From what I understand, and I haven't been able to keep up watching a lot, but enough, the defense is really desperate and scrambling. I think this LE really did their job. And that BK left his defense little to work with with his multiple mistakes. Jmo.

I feel like, if anything, it's the prosecution that's taking a risk on this one. Something like "bushy eyebrows" is so subjective, even with photos. (His eyebrows will no-doubt be meticulously groomed for the trial.)
I know that and his eyes were really the only part of his actual body that was visible, but still. I'd rely more on DNA, his vehicle, etc. than his eyebrows.

What kind of risk? Appeal? It just adds to it all the real evidence, not like an eyewitness is the sole thing. Not like it is the only evidence.

This judge strikes me as one that really looks into things and knows his stuff when making decisions.

I will say I do worry how the roommates will do with testimony and cross.

Anyhow, don't have to answer but seriously asking.

As to his eyebrows if groomed, there are pics if allowed where they certainly were bushy.
