JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events
  • April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
  • December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
  • February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
  • February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
  • June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
  • July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
  • August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
  • September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
  • September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
  • September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
  • September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
  • October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
  • October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
  • October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
  • October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
  • Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
  • November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
  • November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
  • December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
  • December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
  • December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
  • January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
  • January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

Once they FINALLY got to the interview, hers was maybe the most interesting imo. I think we have a lie or two or three about her initiating the conference calls, amazing that her granddaughter deleted a bunch of things that can't be recovered apparently and some other things...

On the other hand, the story of Alex and the plastic and the massage in Vegas, whoa... If true, was she up to be killed... I have wondered about the quick marriages of both Ian with Mel P and Zulema with Alex and life insurance....

I also allow for shock but even so, her memory is so crystal clear on soooo very many things except the day Alex died... Each person interviewed seems to have a foggy memory at the very times their involvement is the most questionable.... Imo.

I see Lori and both Mels pretty similarly... Zulema is pretty new to me and I am still thinking on her interview and demeanor... With none of them though do I fullheartedly believe all statements/answers.

I just watched a short video of when Melanie P and Ian were served grand jury subpoenas. It was back in May but I hadn't seen it before. Maybe it was just now released with the other things, not sure.

Anyhow, they find her walking her dog across the way from her home, before 8 a.m. in a park I believe... It is morning. She is dressed casually, her hair is done and all and she just strikes me so like Lori. Hair down her back styled the same, close to same length, very Lori like in front as well, like her little clone. She tells the officer she has to get the kids to school, etc. Told them yes, Ian was home... They went back across the street to their "suburbia" nice house, wreath on the front door, scooter out front, etc... Nice wreath on her door... At one point she goes in and comes back (child blurred) out with a very young child in her arms, guessing it is hers and Ian's. There never was any real evidence there were kids there to get to school... Hard to say. But just all "so normal"...

My point is they all play the "normal" game so well... Kids, school, walking the dog, baby or toddler in arms, nice neighborhood home, a spouse, but behind the scenes what are they and what were they doing, all this whacked out stuff and beliefs and plans, evil plans, zombies and what not.

Each of these women are chatty, friendly, flirty and without watching closer and listening intently and catching the slips which is hard, they are "practiced" at it, so seemingly normal... Lori's looks certainly have helped I am sure play things for her through her life but there is also a real manipulation in them all, humor, some charm they try to play... Interestingly, in all of these interviews, I didn't feel the cops were falling for any of them completely... Of course they try to establish a rapport and keep hem from lawyering up... Of course by this point, other things were becoming known I suppose... I was also actually surprised they did the full on with Alex of multiple photos and his hands, etc. after Charles was shot and had a forensics woman right there in this supposedly small department...

Are you confusing Melanie G (Lori's friend) with Melani P (Lori's niece)?
 
This is a short recording of Lori with the claims department at the life insurance company. Man, she has no shame and is such a liar. When asked if Charle's death/gunshot wounds were due to homicide, she said no but she didn't even say self defense, she claimed it was an ACCIDENT. What??!! Even Alex never pretended he did not mean to shoot him in his interview.

It is funny though when she tells the claims lady she is the beneficiary... And he was her husband... So sure I think... I was waiting for the claims lady to inform her she wasn't beneficiary but she didn't and I suppose they have to take a look first at the policy and any recent changes, etc., I don't know.

She is just so sweet on the phone. Lori for ya...

They knew most of the story. I believe the man sitting next to her was her lawyer and she had already agreed to cooperate.

Yeah, they just are all long and many of them, I'd like to know I guess the dead space or unimportant stuff to skip through easier. Was just frustrated with it after sitting through an hour or more of Alex, Lori and Tylee sitting in an empty room. I see some news places are now playing just the parts that have any significance. I should have waited :)

So he was her lawyer? I thought so/wondered.
 
This is short, about 2.5 minutes. Parts we have heard before but they are tying it all together and I am unsure if I ever saw Charles' email to Tammy at work. I may have--there has been so much time that has passed I am unsure. Anyhow, I think it's interesting and takes little time... Tammy and Charles both knew and I think that will be big in this case...

I think I finally fell asleep during Zalema's cuz I don't remember anything about plastic or massages or vegas. Lol

It was close to the end. Pretty odd if true. She "wonders' if there was a plan to kill her after they were married. She only wonders in hindsight but at the time just simply found it a bit odd... He also went from friendly and talkative and affectionate to very quiet after their marriage that same day/night, etc...

Couldn't tell you exactly but it's probably mostly in the last ten minutes of the video...
 
Here is another KSL short one. Not sure I knew the plan was after Alex tasered Joe to take him to a field and shoot him... Of course we all know it didn't work out that way...

We all know there are interviews released but apparently there is a ton of documentation released that is being waded through. This one also is only 2:35 (minutes and seconds/short).
