JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Larry meets no such definition as to any of the victims (JJ, Tylee, Tammy). He can watch all that does not include testimony and can watch testimony after the testifies.

Goes further to say that the court is disappointed the statutory form was not filed and provided to the court. It SOUNDS like the State (again the state) could have named these people as designees like Kay for Charles, etc. and avoided this!! Court is still asking they do so even now to keep record clear. Since they didn't the court in its discretion named tthem/did this. Hmmm. Woodcocks have been unhappy with Boyce and the defense and Lori of course but it is sounding like maybe this one needs to fall on the prosecutor's office...

Okay, per Nate tonight, right off the bat, he says the Woodcocks ARE married. Divorced years ago and then remarried. Apparently that note in the matter referred to that they had been or something. Makes me wonder if Lori wanted it pointed out on their side's filing or something to embarrass. I didn't CATCH how it came of note and I don't want to rewind right now to find out as I'm watching Nate live.

Interesting Nate is covering what was just talked of above here. He said as far as he knows, Chad's kids are still in the house and unsure if they pay Prior rent or what. Also said Prior likely told Chad that Chad doesn't have a job, want me to represent you, sign over your house... Of course that's guessing but probably true...

Are the kids still in the house? I thought they were, except the married daughter of course... Wonder if Prior charges them rent or is just letting them stay free to be a nice guy (would surprise me)... I believe there was only one who was still a minor so maybe I'm wrong...
One of the kids lived opposite IIRC. Also if the house had a mortgage, often insurance is needed to repay it when one or both owner dies so I would think there now is no mortgage because of Tammy's murder.

So Chad's lawyer would be benefitting from the now mortgage free home due to Tammy's murder. BTW if Chad is convicted, would any life insurance have to be subsequently repaid to the insurance companies ?

I wouldn't count on it, that money may be long gone. First Lori and Chad were living it up paying for a place in Hawaii, etc. and flights and second, Prior has been on this case a long, long time. Chad's property looks to be pretty modest, not sure it is worth all that much, And first they both were represented by Means and who was paying that bill and who paid it after he continued to represent Lori for a long time...? She didn't have a pot to pee in from what we know... $$ I mean of course.
I think I read he got quite a large payout for Tammy's death. $400k or so wasn't it?

Just found this old link. $430k to be precise. If he gets convicted, I am pretty sure the insurance companies are going to want that back. So his lawyer getting his house was probably a good move. His kids may not get anything, unless he has had the sense to pass anything he has left over to them already.

Emma I think and her husband have the home across the street. I think that's her name. The adult married daughter.

Yeah, I guess if both were on the note and Tammy died, Chad would have to redo the mortgage or pay it off.

If Chad murdered Tammy, the life insurance claim would be fraudulent I imagine and I'd think the minute the cause of death was put down or changed (was changed wasn't it?) they'd go after him or file suit... I wonder if anything is going on there... Of course he doesn't have it more than likely and signing the home over takes that off the table BUT I wonder if there is any way they can say they have/had rights before Prior but I somehow doubt it... IF they could prove Chad did that to ensure they couldn't come after it, I think they'd maybe have a basis there but again probably unlikely.

Who knows... I wonder if these two even filed taxes after all their shenanigans commenced and they were "on the run" etc....

I'll tell you, I have wondered what Chad's 3,000 or whatever it is phone calls are... I've had this thought that he's raising bond money lol... I sure hope not and I have no basis for the thought, it just pops into my head. Are there still friends or followers? One wouldn't think so. I mean SOME of them could be family of course...

I am not surprised they are not attending. They will surely attend Chad's trial though??? I am remembering the childish tongue sticking out incident to the media by one of them. Has Lori been charged with Tammy's murder too?
Pretty sure Lori is charged with Tammy and pretty sure there are conspiracy charges relating to all three victims.

The tongue was Emma, the adult daughter. The one who lives across the street.

I don't know... Will they attend? They have fully avoided the media etc. and to my knowledge haven't attended any of their father's other hearings. Or have they? I don't think so. IF they are avoiding Lori's... I can say this, in ours, there was NO WAY I wouldn't have attended, ANY of us and my entire family attended day in and day out and wouldn't have considered anything else. I couldn't have NOT attended. I guess they can't let themselves agree that Lori was involved because that would mean their father was so are they choosing to believe still their mother died of natural causes? Don't they want to know her real cause of death, IF such comes out...?

I realize they are victims and I'm sorry but this was THEIR MOTHER. She was already turned on by their father and now her children, not a single one, is going to be there in support of her?

Yeah, $400K is the figure I've always heard.

The insurance companies will want it back but based on his situation unsure how much money they will expend on a convicted felon with no job in trying to get it...

Chad and Lori's kids were never going to receive anything from these parents imo. Even had they not been arrested, they are the type to blow through money and then another murder of likely another family member would have been necessary to get more money. To this day I wonder about money and life insurance of others. Tylee would have gotten any and all of Joe's things and Lori would have it with Tylee gone if there was anything... Alex? I guess he was married but I think there was a plan there too... Zulema I don't trust, nor either Mel. I don't doubt Ian would have come to pass if the plans had continued... Jmo.

I watched it. It was cool, but nothing new.
Yeah just a relaxed chit chat more or less and some recap on the case although he does come out and clear up the thing about Kay and Larry's divorce and clarify they are married. Important I think as that has and is probably grown/growing legs as we speak so now those who heard it can now tell others who think they aren't married that they are. Unfortunate, I myself was like what??
