JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

I think we should make T-shirts "It's Lori's fault".
Lol that instantly brought Jimmy Buffet and Margaritaville to mind. With Lori, one should say I'ts her own damned fault. Or one made with it is Lori's fault and another with no, it's Chad's fault, etc. And each should be forced to wear one saying "it's my own damned fault" because it IS. Something on the order of t shirts that have the finger pointing to the other beside them, I'm with "stupid", pointing to mate and vice versa which we've all seen. We need shirts for them that point both ways and a mug shot with them next to each other wearing them. "I'ts his fault" "It's her fault", finger pointing, side by side. Or "My name is Lior and it's my fault". Ohhh the possibilities are endless. :D

Maybe that saying should be written on every jail inmate outfit. “It’s my own damn fault.” I know an Oregon State prison chaplain. I’ll bring it up to him and see what he thinks.

I entirely agree! And taking responsibility for their actions might or should in a fair world get them a wee bit of compassion or it would be a start anyhow. And the ones that don't could be forced to wear them....? Unless of course truly innocent...

I think I've missed a few of these where I had seen all for a time but they are generally not much of interest and so on. I am sharing this one because I feel they aren't so what I would call careful in it and seem to be opening up to more whereas a lot of them I feel like they avoid or dance around subjects, not IGNORE but maybe don't want to cross a line and hurt family, the church, etc. Most are kind of vanilla.

For one both do not agree or feel that the car accident changed Alex or did permanent damage. THAT is of note as many tout that. Another good question to them was IF JJ had gone to Kay and Larry to live, how long would it have been before anyone would have cared or noticed that Tylee was missing or ever raise alarm bells about it, would anyone, etc. There was talk of Joe Ryan and I found Adam's response of what both Lori and Alex saying to him separately notable.

I never have any time to waste and there are moments in the first part where I wonder is this worth my time versus watching something else but I stuck it out and it was pretty good.

I’ve been watching all of them all along, because I actually like the two of them doing a podcast. They seem like really likable guys. This last one that you referenced above did have interesting details in it. They have talked about some of the same things in some of the other podcasts but they were scattered in personal conversations. I don’t remember them directly answering the Alex question, though. Alex doesn’t get a pass. His own brother isn’t giving him a pass and neither should we. I also like that they both think there should be more investigation into Joe Ryan’s death.

Yeah it was better than most. I too have watched them all, several, but think I may have missed one or two in the last few weeks, maybe not, not sure. I was keeping up for a long time. I like them and don't mind them but most of them I didn't feel like the really offered much but I think in answering questions for people and doing it awhile, they are starting to get that a bit more is wanted or something on that order. The bit about Alex and yes, Joe Ryan in this one. The part too of would anyone have looked for Tylee or ever done anything if it wasn't for Kay worrying about JJ They said how Colby was almost starting to demand of Lori she put his sister on, let him talk to her, etc.

Both of them agreeing on Alex was pretty big to me. They said flat out (I think Adam did) he was no different after that car accident. We have heard so many people say that, cousins, etc., that it caused something in him and then the public picked it up and many repeat it. I do believe such can happen but it did not happen in Alex's case or so it sounds. I will take his brother's word for that who would likely know better than a cousin plus they aren't excusing him as you said. No pass.

I think they are realizing the public wants a bit more REAL on some tough subjects in some cases. I think they try to somewhat not offend the parents, etc. sometimes. It is their family after all. However, that is part of things. I think Melanie etc. still deserves a bit more. They talked of her some but did they go into her and Alex at Brandon's folks' home, etc.? Of course they may have little personal knowledge of such but have they ever called hr out and asked all her sh*t, etc.?

They respond pretty well to people’s questions in the chat. If anyone has any questions for them, go to their YouTube and ask in the comment section.

I also just came to post this article about the amended appeal.

Isn't Archie/wasn't Archie appointed? She wasn't paying one was she? Sometimes they are private attorneys who are on the public defender list and depending on state sometimes they have to do so much of such type of work, etc. She had no funds after her and Chad had to quit using the same one and then it was Mark Means and Prior for each separately. Not even sure how Means was paid (by Chad?) or if he fell for Lori and did it out of the goodness of his heart. Can't recall quite honestly.... He was NOT a murder kind of criminal atty. I know that. Small time attorney kept being said, like small crimes, etc.

Archie filed the original appeal so did he just do that to meet time deadlines and get one filed and then he/the State, etc. handed it over to someone that can handle appeal for Lori? You'd think that would be from the outset... Red tape to no end probably that who knows.

Of course it does say her upcoming trial etc. in AZ may delay such and so on.

I don't know much but I know this much, appeals can be made or lost on so many types of errors for either side, deadlines, rules of appeal and I don't even have the words how absolutely red tape and strict they are. Or used to be anyhow. Who knows these days...

Here is Nate's actual video on it. Forgive me if this was already shared, I have little time to catch up and the link I went to was a written article.

This is the thing to watch to get what matters here/synopsis of key points, more than synopsis really. Nate hits the key points.

He also touches on Crime Con at the end and what he did there and what went on, etc. He mentions Daniel Robinson whose dad could really use some attention on that case, Dylan Round's mom, the Petitos, a panel about "Missing White Girls' Syndrome" how such cases get covered in the media more, and a lot more. I want to go to Crime Con! I don't want to deal with crowds, airports, taxis and cities though lol. I maybe would for that. This year had a LOT we would have related to. So MANY known to us. Reporters, LE, SM crime channels, victims'\ families and more.

A good not too long video by Nate.
