JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

• April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
• December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
• February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
• February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
• June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
• July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
• August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
• September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
• September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
• September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
• September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
• October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
• October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
• October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
• October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
• Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
• November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
• November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
• December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
• December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
• December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
• January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
• January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

Thank you as I never did get to read your link or look further. I am not even keeping out on the posts on a handful of cases here lately each night much less news.

It really does not say he will actually come to them but I trust something has all been figured our or agreed to or some such. I don't like it but pretty sure by law Kay is not his next of kin, Lori is or even Colby would be. Not sure how it all works but still think that would be the case. Whatever happened, it sounds like Kay and Larry will or at leas know he will be laid to rest.

Not having read anything i am guessing and reading between the lines that Lori maybe granted release or lost rights up on conviction (in which case I'd think it would be Colby) and it seems to be Chad who has or is holding up release. Kay and Larry have no rights to Tylee and hopefully she will and should go to Colby as well. Guesses, all of it, on my part. It would be nice if all who cared and did their part get together on both and perhaps that is what is happening . I'd hope.

Finally I'd have to wonder if Chad is or has been the issue why both haven't been released. Nothing nice about any of it but it would be nice if they could be together or near. She took such great care of JJ and it seemed he adored her.

AFAIK, nobody can profit off a crime they committed. If he wrote a book he wouldn't see dime one of it, if convicted.

It could increase sales of the books he's already written though.

They will transport her back and forth as and when needed at the expense of AZ.

None of us every want to take child molestation lightly or doubt them which is as it should be and in this case Colby also claimed them to be true so who of us would dare BUT I do have to say this is Lori and her influence on her own young child and memories definitely leave doubt in my mind and all we know of everything. I didn't feel even when Colby confirmed that it was very strong. It was at an early point where I don't know if he knew what best as to going against his mom in this part of things or not. IF he even knows the truth with what she did to him and her children just with these custody battles and more themselves.

I lean towards it is not true. I feel bad saying that as no child (adult now) should EVER be doubted with a claim of such. I watched basically all of Annie's stuff over the years and they are always very long but I did. I know too of his attorney's remarks and interviews, etc. in recent years. It all just lends to my not buying it. Lori was a conniving nasty woman and never put the kids first but used them in every way possible. She tried to DESTROY Joe's life and Alex was jailed over an attack on him. Joe was no perfect angel but I do believe trying to simply stand up and fight against Lori's attempted destruction of all he was took a huge toll.

And in no way do I believe he molested Tylee, she claimed both I believe.

I feel bad saying it and as if I am doubting Colby but that's where I lean and more so what I think, it is untrue. Only Colby could change my mind but my feeling is he was on the spot and still torn over Lori and the kids and all, it has been some time ago but I heard him confirm it if I recall in some interview. I feel though if it had been a year or more later, he maybe wouldn't have... I think it was a hard split second decision AND I think he may believe otherwise that it did happen... I mean his ENTIRE family on Lori's side had believed it for years and so did he I'd think...

I've heard of such before a long time ago in some other case where the governor/s can do so but doesn't it mean she was fighting extradition? I almost think that's the reason for it but i could be wrong. There may be another reason for going this route which is a legal way of doing it than her fighting extradition. I wish they'd have explained that.

I think though she will be in custody of AZ for the stay unless needed in ID no? Like if something came about on the ID case OR she was to testify in Chad's...It does say AZ "may" take custody of her... May is a word that makes it a bit unclear. Maybe it is up to AZ if they want custody or want her transferred back and forth?

Lori having lived in more than one state and charged with crimes in more than one state and traveling a lot to many states now gets to do so again! I bet she is excited and only wishes she was charged with crimes in HI and TX so she could smell if not see the salty ocean in one and smell BBQ in the other... Mingled with the smells of each cell's toilets including her own portal... Sorry but not, she is so detestable and evil.

You know Adam and Rex can ponder and talk of these problems that supposedly appeared in these last years but just reminders of he Joe thing and her use of her children going way back just don't do it. I think Colby was like five and he's in his 20s now...

First thing of note is a surface thing, appearance thing. What happened to Chad having shoulders....? He is very slopey shouldered with none. Couldn't not note this throughout. Is he trying a Richard Allen thing? Oh look at me, even though in shirt and tie, I am wasting away. OR maybe he is becoming an ethereal being...

HE sits there throughout in what we have gotten used to/expect, never moving, almost like statuary. He FINALLY moved his head and self a bit when next date was given for court. I'd have to guess he wrote it down knowing when next to be excited he would be out of his cell again and get to sit like a ZOMBIE but one who seems to be paying attention but so still. 'This guy is WEIRD. And again wants cameras WHY? Because this is what they capture of Chad repeatedly now through the time he has been incarcerated and attends hearings. It could be the same day each time but for like now his loss of shoulders because he rarely looks one bit different and always is statuary.

OHHH That is it, he is an immortalized god, i almost said saint but no a god... A supreme being,doesn't move, doesn't need to, or even breathe. Just like Lori who claimed to need no food because she is a goddess or whatever the heck these two's con game is...

It isn't that far about 850-900 miles? I guess she would likely have to be in jail overnight sometimes.

I don't know even through his time in jail which has been a long time now he generally came in with so tight of a collared shirt he looked like an apoplectic although silent bullfrog and had shoulders... And there have been hearings often enough through this time... Mayhap he is pulling a Richard Allen BUT he is not wasting away, it is the shoulders most noticeable. PERHAPS he had shoulder pads and they've been taken away like Lori's botox and bleach???

I am sure some will think I am nasty but these two are NASTY. NO ONE can convince me Lori had a mental illness when her b.s. has went back, as reminded today, decades and when her family saw no such thing back when or before or after. It was a GOOD reminder and that woman is not mentally ill but I have ALWAYS believed that, it isn't anything new, it has always been my stance. Any more than any ego driven, self gratifyig, controlllng, attention seeking, revengeful person is. She was NEVER a good mother, she was one thing on the surface and another behind it. Again imo.
