JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Ha ha ha. Ask your client how many acres it is doofus.

I like this witness.
And Prior acted as if he didn't know and immediately asked for a sidebar. Yeah that was fun. It's also where seeing some of it can be worth it sometimes although I too am mainly having to rely on Tweets, not that they aren't great coverage, they are. But live testimony shows what we don't always get context, tone, etc. nor can they probably say everything they'd like to share fast enough. They do pretty darned good though in full coverage.

There is no way to prove this theory, but if they could have put remains under a cement slab, they might have thought they could hide them forever.
So they were already buried when he wanted to do this? Add some more permanency? With cement or a structure over it? Or not?

No more wondering, it's a fact now!

10:40 a.m. Attorneys are back without the jurors. Boyce says the fact that Prior is the owner of Chad’s property is true, but not relevant to the case. Both sides are not to bring that up again and jurors are not to keep that in consideration. Jurors are being brought back in.
There hasn't been a question of that lately BUT Nate was told he was not the SOLE owner not long ago. I forget by who or if he shared who but he was corrected by someone in the know who called him on it.

So is it likely Alex will be the fall guy in Chad's trial? Chad just helped disposing of the bodies ? What will the defence strategy be?

No denying the bodies were found on his property and that Alex was involved too.
They don't seem to be throwing Lori under the bus as much as anticipated. It does seem to be mostly Alex even with the kids.... From the defense side anyhow...

This describes the initial layout by Prior:

In his opening, defense attorney John Prior described his client as a religious man who wrote books about his faith, premonitions, good and evil, and the “coming of the end of things when his savior, in his mind, is going to come back.”
Prior said Daybell’s life began to change after he met Vallow Daybell, a “beautifully stunning woman” who “starts giving him a lot of attention” and eventually lured him into an “inappropriate” and “unfortunate” extramarital relationship.
Prior told the jury about Vallow Daybell’s brother, Alex Cox, who died in December 2019, and his history of violence, including the shooting and killing of Vallow Daybell’s former husband, Charles Vallow, on July 11, 2019. The Maricopa County medical examiner in Arizona said Cox died of natural causes, CNN affiliate KPHO/KTVK reported.
“Alex Cox was Lori’s protector,” Prior said. “Alex Cox would do anything and everything to protect, aid and assist Lori Vallow… Whenever there was a problem or a threat to Lori Vallow, you will hear testimony that Alex Cox came to the rescue.”
A forensic digital data expert will testify phone records showed Cox was present on Daybell’s property a number of times, Prior said.
Testimony from DNA and forensics experts will also show Cox’s fingerprint was found on plastic wrapped around JJ’s body, none of Chad Daybell’s DNA or hair was found with the children’s bodies and the cause of Tammy Daybell’s death could not be determined, Prior said.
“Don’t be distracted by speculation,” Prior said. “Don’t be distracted by guesses or assumptions or hunches. It all comes down to facts and evidence.”

Yes, I believe Alex Cox will be the main fall guy, with Lori being the seductress who lured innocent Mr. Chad into a world of evil. Alex was just protecting his sister, after all. IMO, if the jury falls for this hogwash, then I will lose hope in people to be able to look at ALL the surrounding circumstances and figure out the truth.

And also, I am offended at Prior stating Lori was a "beautifully stunning woman" as though Tammy wasn't. She was WAY more beautiful! Not only was she pretty, but from what witnesses have said, she was loving and giving to all she was around. Lori can't hold a candle to her! I only wish Tammy didn't fall for the light/dark rating crap that Chad was dishing out. :gaah:
I also find Tammy much more beautiful than Lori and I disagree any time I hear of Lori being described as physically attractive, at least as if naturally so lol. I have never seen that at ALL. She's an ugly woman inside and out. ANd woman not a little ha ha funny isn't that cute GIRL. Gag with her acts.

Lori's going to blow up if she's been found guilty and he isn't😳
Not 100 percent sure on that. They really aren't crucifying her and I think she thinks if Chad is found innocent he will get her out whether through a portal or with his godly powers or by using an arsenal of guns like Alex had (or THEY all did) and breaking her out. Lol.

Yes but I think he was acting jointly previous to that. Doesn't this link say he's overseen the case for the last three years? Unfortunately the article is not available to me in UK.

Wouldn't that be ironic if Prior owned the land when the kids were discovered on it.
Darned if I can tall anyone for sure how long but he's been on for awhile. Means was on first and then Boyce said it was a conflict. Prior came on from a search I did in May of 2021 and so it has been ALMOST THREE YEARS.

The article you could not read also says May of 2021. As his "sole" counsel. Didn't Means and Prior have offices like right next door or in the same building or something? Seemed like Prior may have had Means consulting with him--Means was not that expericend in serious murder cases.

This March article has Prior saying he has been involved with Chad's case for 3 years and 10 months, so that would be since May 2020.

Memory is hazy but I think he worked with Means or helped Means. Two things say May of 2021 and now you have one SA'ing 3 years and 10 months so what is true is hard to say BUT the article you linked that said May of 2021, said as his "SOLE" counsel.

So May 2021 must be when Means was no longer involved and Prior took it on as Chad's sole representative, I guess.

Here's Linda's for tonight. She is staying on it. Just starting it myself. Sounds interesting right off.

Did any of us know about that Chad enjoyed killing and smashing bees as a child? Said he felt pathetic about it but continued killing them anyhow? Wow.

Not sure yet where this comes from, his books maybe? Yeah interesting from the get go she is talking of his fascination with death from a young age...

Ohhh boy and then a "novel" he penned as a boy. WOW.

And Linda does not tell as fact if it is not or came from a book of his or not sure yet from where.

Lord does she do well. Barely into it.

I wonder now as this one came up what Chad's kids think of his test about feeling like Harry Potter being STUCK with the Dudleys? Meaning Tammy and the kids imo. That one we ahe heard but there is plenty that is new to me and just a few minutes in including what he says re his books, they are not fictional, etc.

He said per grave digging we "dont dig graves deeper than we have to".... Oh wow. I'e seen a bit about his books over all these years but never had any desire to read one... She pulls all these things as she does and puts them together....

OMG how she pulls this together. I am going to quit sharing and recommend watching. Some of this we knew, not sure all of us have heard some o fit, but not all. But he picks it out and pulls it together... I recall the neighbor that died, just one example, in the time frame of the others... But hear it as ruled from an embolism which we just heard today he told someone about TAmmy... Not all of it is new but some of it is to me... The way she connects these dots in this one is... Wow.

Yeah I've heard this before but can't recall when but had forgotten. So EASY to do in this case even though THIS IS BIG.

I just read the day's Tweets and I did not reread but not sure the State made it clear as to timing because it seemed before that they it was mentioned that Lori was in jail. Kids woudln't have needed to have been buried then because they were already buried. I'm not saying we have all the context so maybe it was clear in live testimony to any that saw it, I saw none today. I jus hope he jury is clear on it, the Tweets for me or testimony seemed a big no chronological and enough in this case could confuse the jury but I'm tired, just got home less than two hours ago in a packed two days and 24 hour turn around trip, and I may have that wrong.
I don't think the jury will know that Lori is in jail for her part in the murders will they?

We know a lot about this case but the jury will know very little presumably, making it easy to blame everything on the dead guy.

Not sure. I know there were prospective jurors who knew some about the case, not sure if they made it onto the jury but the can know some and still be chosen.

As far as if it can be brought up at trial either, I'm unsure, no idea. I know Prior himself has brought in some things that I'm not sure I would have if I were him and he opened the door to something yesterday.

When I don't know I don't claim to lol and in this case I don't know if they know or will know or can know or not.
