JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

This recording is on the East Idaho news site and is of Lori talking at a LDS meeting of some sort. Annie Cushing obtained the recording from an unnamed source. It is 46 mins long. I have listened to the first 30 mins, which is mainly Lori talking about her mission. I think she was married to Charles Vallow at the time of this recording, because she mentions she has five children at this point in her life.

This is pretty good. Annie always puts on a well done show. They have someone in the courtroom. I'm about halfway through but have to go. They are doing a weekly recap each week and that may just come in handy for me if I hit a week I can't keep up with all by tweet or nightly summary, etc. Or even in addition as this is pretty good.

You're right - this is pretty good. There looks like there is not many in the public part of the courtroom I love it where Chad is pretend crying and Prior pats him on the shoulder and passes him the box of tissues. Chad takes one and pretend mops one eye then puts the tissues back.

Someone in the comments of something I watched said that Chad's face reminds them of Baby Huey duck's face. Well, I have never heard of this character so I googled it and watched a clip. And they are RIGHT. Now every time I see Chad I think of Baby Huey duck's face.

I haven't looked but I am pretty sure I heard it before and actually recall almost all of it. I listened to every one of Annie's (and they are very very very long most of them) back when. I know about Lori's telling how murder is okay if someone comes against you like three times, or once, twice then THREE. and that she referred to Joe. It MAY be newly released to Nate or to LE or some such but it isn't new. It is quite a look and listen to Lori though... Agree on that.

Okay I clicked in and it is from 2020. I thought you were saying it was just put out by EIN even but that's not the case. Sorry.

Yeah actually I was only halfway through when I had to leave so you listened to it all before me. I finished tonight. It was different in that Annie let her person talk about and to people at the trial and that was the bulk of the show with little of Annie but they did hit some of the key points of the week no doubt.

Baby Huey lol. Chad has so many names but that one works!

I like watching the chats while listening to the videos on YT. For a long time when I first started watch YT I would not sign in or chat myself, now I hate it when I can't see a live or comment as I do that and one can't when not live of course. Then it's like I want to say something to someone's comment but it's long after lol and not live and you can't. I don't often comment or even always comment but in chat but do join in on occasion. LIke any new place back when new it scared me a bit. Not any longer I am so used to the ones I watch and the channels and people. For instance watching a trial at Scott Reisch was the best place to do it with a sane audience and he would stream any that were being followed even if he wasn't there. His mods are great and its sane. On occasion I've had to watch a trial on Law and Crime live feed and their chat is entirely different and full of trolls and mods either not present or not doing a thing about it and you can't keep up anyhow as too many and too fast.

Another example is Nate is of course airing Daybell live each day even if not there but for us all to join the feed and that's a good one but so is Linda and her audience and mods are great and she is there for the breaks to talk for the most part and fill the dead time.

Just a matter of knowing which ones to watch. Many of these and others are totally responsible channels that have covered this from early days and know it inside and out. I did used to be leery and careful with YT when first going and had a very wrong opinion about what it was.

I've given some chances then dropped them but there are many I've been a subscriber of for many years now.

I don't watch Annie all the time but she is SOLID and does a great and well researched show. She isn't always up on current news on cases which is more my thing so I don't always watch her and she has had her times she is not on for awhile, just like Linda did. But when I do see one I will go right to them and back to them. Annie less so because again she isn't always covering current cases. Scott can get a bit dry for me at times but one of the BEST places to watch a trial if he puts it on live and chat with fellow members there.

Anyhow, haven't had a de-stressing from my day long one yet tonight and I guess this one is it.

Shall Chad now become BH LOL?? We will then have two babies in current cases. CB and BH.

I think Nate has a hard time staying away and I think he and Erick work out their agreements on vacation, down time, needs to cover somehing he has throughout from day one, etc. imo. Jmo. They have never said any such thing.

Here ya go:

I hadnt heard it before. She sounds really crazy to me. It was from Oct 2018 which is allegedly when she met Chad.
I meant the article as far as the 2020, meaning Nate hadn't just gotten it. To me she sounded just like what they are, two cons. The ones that do this nutty stuff with podcasts and books on their fake visions and worse I don't think in most cases aren't frauds. it's for $$ and following or hoping for that anyhow. I watched Julie Rowe I think exactly once and I cannot for the life of me understand how people fall for ANY of these people. If not podcasts, it is books and they "author" like Chad and we've heard many a time what most think of his books.

I HAVE always wondered about what Lori said and her referencing Joe re wanting to murder someone. I am convinced Alex was murdered or convinced to take something himself due to those two and nothing will convince me otherwise. With Joe, it seems very likely to me he was murdered as well but I'm not quite AS convinced. It seems likely both were murdered but both remain ruled natural causes.

One of the things that I don't think has been touched on here and that was a surprise to me but it shouldn't have been I guess, but was, is it has come out that Tammy and the Daybell children know of the dark and light thing and the ratings on people. It's a lot of food for thought... I don't mean they were part of what Chad and Lori were doing and who Chad was rating ther eand who they were killing and plotting to kill. In Annie's video (I don't mean Cushing I mean Ten to Life, Annie Elise), this was touched on/talked of. I forget who it was elected from, I believe one of the friends of Chad or Tammy who was on the stand, I forget.

THIS could be a bit confusing for a jury as they seem almost like this murderous group and doing the same thing or living the same scales and dark and light. Would or could they possibly think TAmmy knew she was rated dark and needed to go and that she knew this? Not the case but I'm just saying when they are said to have been living and believing in the same thing, it could confuse a jury who doesn't know all we do in cases that are hard enough to follow here and all the players...

WE didn't know this (pretty sure) until now but of course it makes sense, they livedi with and followed Chad, he was dad and hub. Prior did bring out if I recall it right that no one rated by Chad dark to them ever was murdered or so it seemed or actually maybe prosecution brought that out, I was tired, can't recall. There was one Chad rated dark that I think Emma did not fight dad on but made some remark that she liked him or some such and couldn't see it or believe it...

There were some interesting things in the video I linked and this was one of them. Maybe I missed it but it was news to me and I don't recall reading it in Tweets, etc. Perhaps it was in there but I'm always running through them fast most of the time and I don't think anyone here has actually watched the whole trial so far have they? I certainly haven't.

it also means Tammy and the children knew of the whole light, dark and ratings thing even before Lori ever knew it or met Chad. Of course I don't think murder was involved then (that we know of) but it is something to think on that they knew of and believed in this same b.s. Did Tammy know she'd been found dark? Moreover were the kids told Tammy was dark....?! Just a lot of food for thought iif your brain and day has time. Mine don't but....

Finding out as we just did that Chad was like it is amazing and a miracle I was given the passwords and all to the bank accounts and then going BACK to Emma and Chad's conversation the day the bodies of the kids were found is something to revisit! Here is Annie herself and give it even five minutes to see why every one and keep watching if you like or not (I haven't seen all yet). I am putting more together and picking up more with the news of him getting passwords we recently heard and going back to the day of his and Emma's Convo when he was arrested!

She also says she was told by the spirit she'd be moving but didn't understand it yet but telling dad she'd do whatever and move back into his house and now it made sense (paraphrasing) and know how to pay the bills or some such, that he spirit meant this (I take it his arrest) and need for her to move.

I HOPE the jury is getting all this because it takes getting new testimony and then going back to that of a few days earlier and putting it together. Prosecution will need to tie this all together at some point or in closing. Not that jurors aren't smart or us either but when one is inundated with a lot, make it clear.

This also all shows me what i've always known, I prefer to watch all testimony when I have the luxury and time to do so. And when a trial is lve to definitely do so. I have read every Twee and they are great coverage but there are things in recaps and more that aren't in the Tweets or they can't keep up with or that simply don't come across.

Anyhow haven't seen all this yet but linking. The first five minutes are already good.

So Emma has the "spirit" talking to her.

I believe in God it is no secret, but this kind of stuff I am so not there with.

Five minutes give it with a real listen. I'm not past that yet, no time but interesting as all heck. @Tresir and all.

OMG give it TEN minutes. Tweets are great but don't cover all, nor does this probably compared to watching all.

So Emma was saying dad remarried a family friend (????) who had helped them all heal. And then the Telmate thing Chad saying she could set one up and ha ha she already had that she as talking to Lori on.

This is the same kid or bunch of kids who blame/d Lori for dad's predicament just as his attorney and self have... And now she is a family friend...Lori claimed Tammy was her friend too. Her good friend Tammy. What say you Tammy if you could talk?

I well may have to do these vids and recaps or add them.

I hope the jury is putting this all together the same way they are connecting dots. Of course they and all of us out here have a lot more knowledge and understanding of players, etc. than the jury likely has or came in with...

i am now 17 minutes in amongst getting ready for work. And this is worth it. There is talk of how the prosecution is not putting things together well enough for a jury or doing things when they should etc. and how it is even confusing for those that know the case well unlike the jury. Very good points is all I can say from someone sitting there day in and day out and Larry and Kay have thought similar.

All are giving such great coverage since no one can watch all of this long and lengthy trial. nate's tweets, Linda and Nate every night, etc. but let me tell you there is stuff in here that I sure hadn't heard and it is all from trial, NOT speculation. Very key and interesting things I heard from none of the others and have been reading all those and watching almost every single one. You will not regret giving this a listen. Imo.

I am 35 minutes into this now and this is arguably the best thing I have seen since this trial started and I have seen some good ones. A few things about the church and Rob Wood and more and Mel G that just not been seen nor recapped anywhere else I've read or watched. And matching a lot of what I've seen or believe. But more than that, much that has not been covered here at all from being in attendance at the trial.

I think Nate has a hard time staying away and I think he and Erick work out their agreements on vacation, down time, needs to cover somehing he has throughout from day one, etc. imo. Jmo. They have never said any such thing.

I’m glad he’s back! And the audio does get better toward the end.

I think the fact that they knew the dark and light thing before came out during this trial. Didn’t it? I don’t remember it before either.

Well your discussion about the family discussing who is dark and whatever, and being ok with it - I will have to review because I don't remember that testimony. What day was that and what witness? Do you remember.
