Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *MISTRIAL*

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

So who believes the dog bite attack theory in the media?
Aside from working in journalism for 13 years I trained dogs for over 30 years. I've been mauled, seen others mauled... been bitten seen others bitten it truly looks to me his arm looks like a dog attack.... the home owner had a dog with a "mean streak" who was rehomed after O'Keefe's death.

Karen Read's brother speaks to NBC 10 about the latest developments in the murder case
As supporters of Karen Read continue to show public support, Read’s brother spoke to NBC 10 about the latest developments in the murder case.

The re-trial for the Mansfield woman accused of leaving her boyfriend John O'Keefe to die is just a few months away.

But before a new jury is selected, a judge will decide who can testify.

Prosecutors for the Commonwealth say Read hit her boyfriend John O'Keefe with her SUV during a 2022 snowstorm.

They don’t want a list of defense experts to take the stand for a second time.

Read's defense team claims she was framed, and the Boston police officer was beat up inside a Canton home before his body was dumped outside.

A judge has ruled Dr. Marie Russell can testify again.

She's a key witness who says the injuries on John O'Keefe's arm are consistent with a dog attack.

"I think from our lens, it's par for the course,” he said.

The state also says they found Chole, the German Shepard who lawyers for Read say attacked John O’Keefe, and took a mold of her mouth.

It's still unclear if the lead investigator for the Massachusetts State Police Micheal Proctor will testify.

He's been suspended without pay for sending inappropriate texts about the case.

A state police trial board will continue next month.

Nathan Read did not comment on that issue, saying the facts will come out.

And the state's highest court has not yet decided if the murder charge against Karen Read will be dropped.

I honestly can't wait for her retrial. I'm convinced and have been that she did not do this.
The prosecution themselves brought me to this conclusion. Until the trial, I wasn't convinced either way but was leaning to guilty just because of what they had out in the media. I was convinced of a cover up in that they did not investigate a possible murder of a fellow officer at all and then add the intentionally altered video entered into evidence. Also the physics don't physic.

I think he was murdered at that house and that she had nothing to do with it. The case reeks of cover up.

Wow! They just found the dog!! They couldn't before the last trial. What proof do they have it's the same dog?

Info on what can be done with dog evidence to determine COD.

From the article -

Comparisons between the dental casts obtained from the dogs and the inflicted wounds were made, resulting in positive correlations between the injuries and the dental arches from two of the six involved dogs, thanks to dental abnormalities and DNA founding. The victim’s clothes were also compared with the dogs’ dental casts, confirming that they were the most active participants during the pack attack. Dogs’ DNA was finally matched with saliva traces found on victim’s clothes and skin bite marks.

DNA on the victim if it was a dog bite.
That would all be correct but they didn't do that though. They turned in a swab that had no documentation of what was swabbed that has no dog DNA on it or it wasn't tested for dog dna. I can't remember if they actually tested it or not. Even if they did, there was no documentation turned in by the self described record keeper of where the swab came from.

Except they didn't get dog DNA and what dog was actually any cast made from. They had over a year to "find" their precious family member they had for years before the first trial. How did this dog suddenly get "found"? Why did they have no idea where this dog was to begin with? I guarantee you, I would know where any pet I've had for years and had to surrender for any reason would be. Why did they get rid of her to start with right after this incident?

We will have to wait and see what they bring up at trial. I am assuming they took swabs from the deceased at the time and anyway they would also still have his clothes to check for dog DNA and saliva if they did not do that at the time. The mold of the dogs jaw is neat but i am not sure how they could now try and match it with the wounds. Perhaps they do it as a computer simulation somehow?

This is the defence's theory that this is what happened so they are desperate to prove it.

One would like to "assume" that they would have done it to start with, wouldn't you? Especially in investigating the possible murder of a fellow officer. They did not.
