LIBBY GERMAN & ABBY WILLIAMS: Indiana vs. Richard Allen for 2017 murder of two Delphi girls *GUILTY*

On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, United States, after the young girls had disappeared from the same trail the previous day. The murders have received significant media coverage because a photo and audio recording of an individual believed to be the girls' murderer was found on German's smartphone. Despite the audio and video recordings of the suspect that have been circulated and the more than 26,000 tips that police have received, no arrest in the case has been made.[1][2][3]

Police have not publicly stated nor released details of how the girls were murdered.[6] As early as February 15, 2017, Indiana State Police began circulating a still image of an individual reportedly seen on the Monon High Bridge Trail near where the two friends were slain; the grainy photograph appearing to capture a Caucasian male, with hands in pockets, walking on the rail bridge, head down, toward the girls.[4] A few days later, the person in the photograph was named the prime suspect in the double-homicide.[5]

On February 22, law enforcement released an audio recording where the voice of the assailant,[7] though in some degree muffled, is heard to say, "Down the hill." It was at this news conference that officials credited the source of the audio and imagery to German's smartphone, and, further, regarded her as a hero for having had the uncanny foresight and fortitude to record the exchange in secret. Police indicated that additional evidence from the phone had been secured, but that they did not release it so as not to "compromise any future trial." By this time, the reward offered in the case was set at $41,000.[5]

I will say this, I did think there was something hinky about RA's arrest from the beginning.
Did you share that on here? I mean we all thought it was weird as they had known about his presence there very early on. But then 'lost' it. He could even be the Delphi Odinist that the Logansport Odinist fell out with.

I still think he did it and his guilt is what is tearing him up and making him confess. They should have him on suicide watch, if they haven't already IMO.

So... I agree with Gray Hughes that the tree with Libby's blood on the trunk (at a height of only four feet is interesting, surely, revealing) and also at the base of the same tree indicates that that's where Libby's injuries were inflicted, period.
Info that Libby's shoe was found beneath Abby's body and that Libby's cell phone was under the shoe suggests to me (among other things) that that's where Libby was forced to undress and that while doing so, managed to hide her phone under her shoe.
That's a good point about the shoe. IIRC her other shoe was found on the other side of the creek.

I would hope they didn't mess up this crime scene THAT BADLY. I would hope there is a lot of the crime scene we still don't know about. But didn't defense say they didn't take it?
Yes, but they must’ve taken it at some point because they tested the blood and it was Libbys if I remember correctly. Don’t quote me on that, but it was the blood of one of the girls.

I haven't read the document but from what I don't see how they can necessarily connect all of them. Do we believe every satanist (refuse to capitlize it) or wannabe satanist knows every satanist? And why would they have a wananabe with them, a childlike one who could be a hindrance to getting away with a crime to begin with?

This is all seeming very much like a bunch of b.s. pulled from what they could find right now.
I wonder if he didn’t try to position them in an Odin way and was unhappy that they didn’t figure it out themselves. Somebody else probably mentioned this already, but this is off the top of my head right now.

There we go. That’s where I heard it from. Thank you for posting this because I couldn’t remember who said it.

He's definitely stated that on here. He was never on board with this arrest.

I think it's that it's very hard to accept that there he was, in the police file, fitting the description and timeline of the killer and that somehow that info was put somewhere that it wouldn't have been paid any attention and for such a long time.
Yeah, that kind of surprised me too. Especially because people saw him along the trail. That’s what led me to believe it might not be a local.

Yeah, this seemed to be a little hinky to me. I'll need more to convict.

His bullet wasn't found, a bullet casing was. His car was identified as three different types. The guy was wearing a hoodie. Have they matched the cat hairs to his cat? I hadn't heard that yet.

You're right. Something just doesn't feel right about this.

I'm not 100% convinced of his guilt. When I feel like this about something, I'm always wrong so. View attachment 19031

I thought they were going after a pedo ring too. It sure doesn't look like they have anything at all on one.

I am most likely wrong, but something really bothers me about this case. To the point where I wonder if some evidence has been manufactured. He confessed about five to six times while in jail. To who? He's in his cell alone for about 23 hours a day.

Of course some makes sense. If he did admit to being on the bridge and wearing what the girls who saw him described, what took so long to get a warrant to search his property?

I'm convinced that Ronald Logan was involved in some way too. Two people shown the footage of Bridge Guy and knew Logan, thought it was video of Logan right off the bat.

At the very least this has been investigated by Keystone Cops. They put the picture of Bridge Guy out and then put up a completely different picture of another guy. Turns out the second guy was just an image taken from the internet and used on a Facebook profile.

All they had to do was take the picture of the guy and run it through Google images. Evidently, that never occurred to them.

Then there is the whole Kline thing. It seemed he had information on a child porn ring, it seems that wasn't the case, so far. If they're still working on that it seems they aren't doing it very well.

Maybe I'm just being a conspiracy guy (apologies to Chris Elliot) but something really stinks about all of this. I've seen a lot of cases where people were railroaded simply because public pressure was getting too intense.

All we have is their word that Allen admitted that. Is it on video in his interrogation? Too much smells.

How did the cops settle on Allen? What others thoughts on this?

Yes, and I'll add this. They found a bullet casing, yet neither of the girls were shot. The way the Delphi PD handled this case seemed very weird from the beginning. If what the defense is claiming (much of it hard to believe) then maybe so. confused-animated-smiley.gif

Also, what was the reason for holding Richard Kline so long? It seems he was cooperating with the government, but about what exactly?confused-animated-smiley.gif

Thanks! You know, I think it's always blow our minds that Libby's phone was not only found at the scene but apparently, was also fully intact and I've never been sure of what to make of that, except that- from the killer's perspective- it may very well have simply been an out-of-sight, out-of-mind type of thing.

You lost me. Who do you mean? Allen? And that who didn't figure it out themelves, LE?

Abby I think it was is heard saying he has a gun. It is also said they think the hear the click of it in the video, I believe family said that, don't quote me on who on that one bu they think that's the sound they hear. There was some way he got them to go "down the hill" and without a gun why wouldn't they run as far and fast as they could? To me, all of this adds up to the gun making total sense and then they matched the casing to ballistics/RA's gun.

His sick fantasy was not to shoot them but the gun was a tool to get them to where he could do as he wanted to them and to hold them quite possibly, he WAS dealing with two.

and I'll add that they found an UNSPENT bullet casing. Not one that had been actually shot so no gunshots would make perfect sense. Huge difference there in unspent vs spent. Plenty of other things that didn't make sense, but that one did.

I would think it means the killer had no idea she had a phone and she did a very good job at concealing it.

Or as I heard someone say on Court TV this morning he just was not worried about it as it never crossed his mind she'd think to record. Either way she was sure smart to do so and to hide it. It has always bothered me that this girl gave video evidence of who their killer was and yet not a darned thing could be gained from it all those years.

Right, I think over time, we all began to wonder whether it actually wasn't a local but at the same time, to me, anyway, most all of the local men seemed to look and dress a lot alike, lol!
That is so true. My state of WI is much the same as IN as to dress of men and that guy could be any one of a ton of men imo. We saw that through the case as we debated whether some new arrested guy could be Bridge Guy and in many cases felt it could be. that's a bit worrisome to me--I don't think the video is the strongest part of the evidence necessairly. I does ADD to the evidence and it helps that he admitted to dressing similarly AND of course he WAS there. On its own all alone though, I don't think it would ever be enough.

Have they released audio or a transcript of what was said after "Down the hill".
