PAUL & MAGGIE MURDAUGH: South Carolina vs. Alex Murdaugh for Double Homicide of wife & son *GUILTY*

This case is being kept pretty quiet, no major details released to speak of (other than it does say there were two different guns used), but no info regarding who found them, who called 911, very little else.

Of interest, the grandfather died just a few days after these murders and it sounds as if he was ill from various articles so probably not unexpected. I think of the typical motives, did grandpa have a big estate? How big in the overall family of grandpa's on down? They sound like a pretty well known family and a powerful one in their state, more on that in the article.

And his victims are.... family. ie Buster.
I would sure hope it couldn't go like that.

Something hardly mentioned any more were him and Buster trying to sell, hide, transfer and liquidate assets at one point. Maybe Buster was just doing what daddy said but he is an adult. I know on one hand I should feel for him as a victim but I have doubts about him too.

So who would get the money from any Netflix series? The other cases have not yet been resolved yet right. The financial crimes, the Sattersfield case (clearly the Sattersfield are victims). Does the boat case go away with Paul's murder?

There are still many open cases that are open that will be accounted for. There probably are more that we don't even know about if they have been settled out of court.

So you said many posts back that Netflix wants Alex in on a series right? Because any show or channel can make a documentary, movie, etc. about this case WITHOUT Alex who is just going to b.s. and claim his innocence and tell more lies. Do you know that they are actually offering Alex money to be a part of it? Sorry, been so busy that maybe that is known but I don't recall it. Maybe that's where we should start at before wondering who would get the money Alex would be paid. Was he even offered any?

I don't think it was explicit either way in the article but why would he cooperate with Netflix for free?

Here is the actual source, linked in the DM article I posted, showing the messages he received, if you want to look through them.

Yes, of course. I cannot comment on any cases I am unaware of, obviously. But if you know of any others, perhaps you can list them? The case regarding the hit and run victim, for example, appears to not be Murdaugh but two other persons.

I tried to look through them but clicking on the image to view didn't work.

Anyhow, he'd cooperate possibly to get his side of the story out on a very large platform which is about what they said to him. And imo because the man can't shut up even though as an atty he should know better.

He77 it would also likely bring new love interests one of which he might luck out and will be rich lol.

Also because of his self importance that just seems ingrained in him to no end.

I find it just as interesting that one call he made was refused. Someone refused the call and the charges I guess. Who I wonder? Buster? Eddie? The banker? His hairdresser?

AND he tried to call someone he was not allowed to. Again, who? Buster? Another victim? A prosecutor? A sex line? Who is he banned from calling....?

If they have been settled they would not count though right? So the murders, the financial crime victims and the boat accident are all I know about. And the boat accident could very likely come back on Buster, not Alex, as Buster let him have his ID to purchase the alcohol.

I know, it is interesting right? I did not know you could even get this info, did you? Is this just Carolina or is it available from all states nationwide?

I'll have another look to see if I can enlarge and screenshot them.

ETA. When I looked at the article and got to the items, I put two fingers on the image and opened the fingers, which made the text bigger and readable. I didn't need to actually click on it, as such. There's 8 pages of incoming calls just in the one month. Haven't seen the outgoing log yet.
