State of Oklahoma vs. Joe Kennedy for multiple murders

Several near here have a place for somebody to live onsite to keep an eye on things. Most of the storage places do too. Seems like a pretty good idea if the right person lived there.
Even if they do salvage or junkyards can be so big nowadays I'd think they'd put up cameras. Dogs used to be very common. We have quite a few where the home and homeowner live right there but there are also some that are gated and fenced and no one lives there, the few near or in towns tend to be that way.

I'm thinking drug money because four guys would be able to stash a lot of cash and not look too strange.

Pulling trailers makes me think they may have wanted to steal safes.
That makes sense too. Many private owned ones deal in a lot of cash or are known for it. We have some corporate type ones but a lot of people just go into business on their acreage/old farmstead. Many of them are kind of a certain type. Not to generalize but they are--SOME.

So he shot someone else years ago and was on a deferred sentence. Didn't kill him though.

Six men then, four now.

While no one deserves to be murdered, apparently groups had targeted this owner before. He was likely always on guard then and had up security more than likely.

This is a case where neither side was in the right, however, I guess we don't know that the owner wasn't under threat by the men first and we do have multiple people against likely one man... I would feel threatened if that was the case.

I guess it depends on how close all came to each other and what triggered four murders, etc.

Which is very likely why they were shot. They didn't plan on something/somebody to be there, whether it was human, canine or simply well placed cameras with a motion alert. Somebody was there eventually, obviously.

Well I don't want to insult victims but pretty naive is the nicest word I can think of to think none of those things would be there. It's quite common and with someone who had dealt with such before well yah.

If you kill someone in a salvage yard, there isn't going to be a problem with hiding bodies. They wanted these bodies found. That's how I see it.
I think it depends what kind. If it is just a junkyard I think hiding bodies might be harder than one thinks. Especially if LE brings in dogs.

And he fled too. Not so sure he wanted them found.

I get sending a message to others by wanting them found but then fleeing would look chicken so that doesn't equate to me.

He may not have killed them, but knows the whole story, so he ran away, so they wouldn't kill him too.

Could be. Stranger things have happened.

So you are thinking someone else was there that killed them? Why though? Assuming he was the one they intended to rob or do something to.

It sounds like they were cut in half. Maybe one guy could do that, but it does seem like more were involved.
It does. Let's think about this. For one, how did one man shoot 4 men unless they were contained? It can't be easy to chase down 4 people at/near a scrap yard. Were they killed where they were cut in half? Lets talk about transport. Loading the remains of 4 men into something, transporting to the river, and dumping them. That's hard work for 1 person.

Well it's possible I guess. But it wouldn't be easy. It does sound like they found blood or a crime scene. He'd have all the time in the world until they were reported missing. And even then apparently didn't get to clean all up if they found evidence of a scene.

You would think when he shot the first one, the other three would run/scatter... But even if he had help, I think the men would have still done that.

The picture that comes to mind with me is like you see in some movies. One or a bunch are trying to do something or sneak onto the property and all of a sudden the owner or the law is behind them and was prepared and holding a gun on them and they hear the voice from behind, hands up, not another move...

And that picture to me lends to someone tipping this guy off or he saw them coming on camera or something...
