The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide AMBER Alert for a missing 5-year-old girl from Rogersville in Hawkins County Wednesday morning.

Officials with the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to WVLT News that Summer Moon-Utah Wells went missing Tuesday night. Sheriff’s Office officials are asking for the public’s help locating the child.

Summer Wells has blonde hair and was last seen wearing grey shorts and a pink shirt on Ben Hill road, officials said. She has been missing since 7 p.m. Tuesday.

TBI officials said Summer Wells may now have shorter hair than that pictured in earlier alerts.

If the rules are different for this case or the rules have been changed for all cases now, let me know and I'm glad to leave them along with everyone sit silent until there is breaking news so long I guess as it does not include a parent's interview on media or legal records, (from a local news source no less)?
Most of the time when such speculation is done, it is accompanied by statements or BIG hints from LE or the media that not all is as it seems.
Parent interviews or MSM news can absolutely be discussed. Digging into criminal history of family members that live thousands of miles away is completely irrelevant. And we're NOT going to do that here.
Again, provide a MSM LINK to avoid confusion.

The rules have been laid out. And are MUCH more lenient than elsewhere. Not discussing it any further.

I guess I missed any pictures of a messy house however there are about 5 people living there and not everyone is a 'neat freak' like me so I can move past that. Summer is an adorable little girl and she must have a sense of humor because she's not prepped in pics. It's her being her authentic self. I just hope she can be found safe and soon.
pics of my house could be on any spectrum of "cleanliness". There could be pics of the exact same day that showed two totally different stories. My girls' hair is the same story. It could be very neat one moment and then a rats nest the next and right back to all neat and tidy. Far from neat freaks here but it has clean times and not so clean times so catching things where everything was "perfect" would not be an easy task. We get dirty, We get clean.

The TBI said that there are two parts to this case. One is the search and the other part is the investigation. Leslie Earhart with the TBI stated that they are investigating every lead.

“As of this afternoon, we have received approximately 85 tips. Agents and officers continue to follow up on each lead that comes in.”

The community has created a prayer garden at a church near the search efforts. Its that type of love and support Don Wells said he is grateful for. He just wants to see that his daughter is safe.

“Please let Summer be okay. Please come home,” Wells pleaded.

Captain Tim Coup with the Church Hill Rescue Squad said there are over 41 agencies from across the state assisting in the case. The TBI adds that they are only looking for credible tips that can help find Summer. Any calls that are just speculation only impede the search and rescue process.

“I was at work, but from what my wife has told me, her, and her mother, and Summer were planting flowers by her grandma’s trailer, which is about 20 feet from the house. Real close to the house. Summer, all of a sudden, said ‘Mom I want to go in the house.’ So she said, fine.”

“Her mom came in and said where’s Summer? She’s downstairs playing with her toys. She (Candus) hollered for her, and there was no answer. She went downstairs and (Summer) was nowhere to be found. She went out the basement door. The door was unlocked.”

He said his wife called him at work in Jonesborough and he told her to hang up and call 911, and he immediately headed for home.

*(Dad wasn't at home when his daughter disappeared.)

Summer Wells: Tips pour in, but no sign of missing Tennessee 5-year-old

Tennessee state investigators said Saturday they had received more than 100 tips about missing 5-year-old Summer Wells, but so far none have led them to the little girl.

Investigators have called for help in the search from the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads, Hawkins County Emergency Communications said, and Summer’s father put out another plea for his daughter’s return.

Don Wells told WVLT on Friday that authorities have searched his Rogersville home and that’s fine with him.

Summer’s parents spoke with News Channel 11 and allowed the release of new photos of the property that show where her family reports to have seen her last.

There's an aerial shot that I can't figure out if it's really their property or not. It's the one with the big circle drive. If the pic is correct, all she had to was walk across the driveway you can see in the above photo and she would practically vanish into the woods.

Summer Wells: Infrared cameras deployed in search for missing 5-year-old Tennessee girl

The search for a missing Tennessee child continued into Sunday morning, with crews using a helicopter with special equipment to aid in the efforts, WJHL-TV reports.

From Saturday night into early Sunday morning, searchers were on the ground combing through fields with flashlights. A helicopter was also being used overnight.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has been involved with the search, in part by flying one of its helicopters equipped with an infrared camera that can detect body heat, according to WHNT-TV. Divers have also been checking area ponds and waterways.

Saturday night’s search was prompted by a tip and was still active as of 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Search for Summer: Investigators, helicopters searching overnight for missing Rogersville 5-year-old

Ground search crews continue to work Saturday night in hopes that one more lead may be the last in the hunt for missing Rogersville 5-year-old Summer Wells.

Interesting. Some things there I haven't seen. But she certainly "assumes" a lot of things and also runs with and even perpetuates rumors. Not a lot there that's fact-based, IMO.
I'm not advocating for a certain "theory" or on one side of the fence here. If someone harmed her, then they need to be held accountable, and I believe that they will be.
There is a lot of troubling info out there. There is also a lot of info that leaves other possibilities on the table. JMO.
