Bernard Madoff says he is dying and is asking a judge for compassionate release from prison, where he is serving 150 years for orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.

Madoff, 81, has terminal kidney failure and a life expectancy of less than 18 months. When the court sentenced him, “it was clear that Madoff’s 150-year prison sentence was symbolic for three reasons: retribution, deterrence, and for the victims,” the court filing states. “This Court must now consider whether keeping Madoff incarcerated … is truly in furtherance of statutory sentencing goals and our society’s value and understanding of compassion.”

Madoff said in the request for compassionate release that he “does not dispute the severity of his crimes.”

Bought his son the AR AFTER they had already been visited by the FBI about threatening to shoot up places. Sheesh.

Yeah, I dunno how you can be charged with a terror crime and bounced out on $1,000.

For reference this location is in the Appalachia area. Lots of caves, cliffs, heavily wooded, kudzu, etc.

Very easy to be stealthy in the action and be out of the area before any first responders were even in the area that was hit, let alone where he was at doing it. Very, very hilly and very thick vegetation on those hills.

Latest update says they found the rifle and ammo (doesn't specify how much) in one location near the interstate. His SUV in a 2nd location.

It can't help but show she either was naive, too trusting, let him have all the control or something because of course you'd realize you had blocks of missing time, that your body felt abused, not clean, you name it. She clearly let him give her meds and so on. I'm not blaming her, what I am saying is no way can you not have suspected something or that at least you thought you had issues so bad he needed to help you and medicate you so you slept well and remembered nothing and that meant at minimum she trusted such for years on end...

It reminds me of the Max Factor heir show was giving the date rape drug and videoing everyone he took home after drugging their drink and assaulted.

This was ONCE for these women but some of them knew, and others wondered... Some had SOME recall, a few, others just wondered how the heck they ended up where they did, etc. This woman has had YEARS of such. You can't be that clueless unless you were always controlled, drugged and never had a moment of clarity imo.

Jmo...

He is a sick SOB/POS and aren't they all...
