Bernard Madoff says he is dying and is asking a judge for compassionate release from prison, where he is serving 150 years for orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.

Madoff, 81, has terminal kidney failure and a life expectancy of less than 18 months. When the court sentenced him, “it was clear that Madoff’s 150-year prison sentence was symbolic for three reasons: retribution, deterrence, and for the victims,” the court filing states. “This Court must now consider whether keeping Madoff incarcerated … is truly in furtherance of statutory sentencing goals and our society’s value and understanding of compassion.”

Madoff said in the request for compassionate release that he “does not dispute the severity of his crimes.”

I fail to understand why people who do not want children have them. I will never understand that. If someone poor has a child but wanted that child, and the child is loved even if unplanned, I don't judge that at all but I shall never understand this kind of thing. Ever. It enrages me actually.

Well here is another pair of winners. Evil pieces of sh*t. This one is hard to read what was done to this baby and the injuries. Taking the baby to the hospital confounds me, are they that burned out or messed up on drugs to not know the injuries they had inflicted on this child would be apparent? A really hard one to read, this poor infant.

Wow. I don't know. Do you think suspension is good enough? Took long enough too. If the car quit running, I can find some sympathy there, however, he had options and had an alert system he did not maintain. Why not bring the dog in with you? It also sounds like there are "numerous" violations.

I don't know what happened here but she had his name on paper with her, he is a truck driver and she had recently been in several states. Did she go to meet someone? Or knew him and was traveling with him, but then why write down his name? What throws me is she was 47, he 28 and she had competed for Miss Manhattan in 2014 and America's It Girl Miss Lady Liberty. I don't mean it could not all be correct or mean anything by it, but all of that makes me wonder if they have her age wrong.
