Bernard Madoff says he is dying and is asking a judge for compassionate release from prison, where he is serving 150 years for orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.

Madoff, 81, has terminal kidney failure and a life expectancy of less than 18 months. When the court sentenced him, “it was clear that Madoff’s 150-year prison sentence was symbolic for three reasons: retribution, deterrence, and for the victims,” the court filing states. “This Court must now consider whether keeping Madoff incarcerated … is truly in furtherance of statutory sentencing goals and our society’s value and understanding of compassion.”

Madoff said in the request for compassionate release that he “does not dispute the severity of his crimes.”

Lol he was filling in when young as a reporter near Christmas and he said something about the Baby Jesus being in the manger (saying it to rhyme with anger) instead of ma"y"anger (to rhyme with ranger) and says he knew better but was just reading out loud from probably the teleprompter and probably nervous I am guessing, he was young, and the phone lines all it up in red and he was convinced his career was over before it had hardly begun...

Just aqain a good all around discussion of so many things. Enjoying it and getting towards the end now. 20 minutes left. I almost wish it would continue or there'd be more.
 
This Chinese pot thing in OK is interesting... Entin was in OK about the murdered moms case and people were telling him about the Chinese pot and how Chinese are buying up land and growing pot and sending the money back to China! Huh? Sounds out there but he said he looked into it and it is actually a thing so a story he's going to do next...
 
Oh and they also touched on the Titan submersible. Entin would never go down in such nor do some other things even for a story...

I'd agree with that one.

New channel to me and it also turned me into another show that I'm watching now.

Was he home schooled? He was 6. So of school age. "The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez" On "Netflix", Is one of the worst cases of long term abuse resulting in death I have ever seen. That included starving. CPS was involved. Teachers reported the abuse to the principal. The CPS workers, 5 IIRC, Were up for charges. In the end, It was not stated who. But, The judge was ORDERED to drop the charges.

Did not see the show but know the case and Gabriel's was horrendous and children should trust anyone at all will save them? So many failures. Only when the CPS etc. workers hang themselves if not doing their job will it ever change. In the case they don't. I'm not talking all but there are certainly more than plenty.

Hey Mel I am going to guess you have heard of this case @Mel70, as it is Bloomington. Someone from MN told me about it and said some thought it might be Donald Blum who disappeared her Since told I hadn't' had a chance to look it up until today. In this short article I don't see much reason to think it was Blum necessarily but maybe personal or some such. I don't know much but am guessing this isn't unheard of to you.... it is not well known to me.

Unsolved, no answers, I think it deserves to be mentioned or talked of.

Yes. I remember the case. I don't know where Donald Blom's house was in Bloomington. I knew his house in Richfield. But that is West Bloomington. That was closer to Sheryl. We did use to have parties down there, And 9 mile creek in high school. I had never heard of anything bad happening there. Blom, IDK. He went to great lengths to hide his murder of Katie. They only caught him by her DNA by her teeth in his fire pit at his trailer in "Moose Lake". His wife lying for him helped too. He was already a sex offender. Like I have said many times. The sex offender registry is WORTHLESS!!!! There is no physical evidence. So is he an easy scapegoat?. I've seen the video of him kidnapping Katie many times. It was very well planned. It just seems too different to me.

AHAHAHAAA. I don't believe that. The Government denied area 51 existed until a video was taken of the sign. That's just a snipet. Snipet. LOL.

WHO ordered him to? Another judge? The governor? Not sure I know or recall...?
