The Long Island serial killer (also referred to as LISK, the Gilgo Beach Killer or the Craigslist Ripper) is an unidentified suspected serial killer who is believed to have murdered 10 to 16 people over a period of nearly 20 years.

Ok i have listened to about half of it so far. The first 8 or 9 minutes is the podcaster talking about what he does. Then Happy Face calls and immediately begins talking virtually non stop about his conversations with other serial killers and the advice he gives them. I could only take it for about 15 minutes. He hogs the convo completely. He considers himself an expert on giving advice to other SKs and how they should handle their cases. I will listen to the last 20 minutes tomorrow.

There is some suggestion that the films that were stolen by the guy Burke beat up were snuff films. That would be another reason he was mad his bag of tricks were stolen. Obviously there is quite a bit we don't know, i think, about the corruption and/or cover up that seems to have gone on and prevented/protected CB from arrest in 2012 when he sold his pick-up to his brother.

It would sure seem like it. I recall something from a snuff film thing on LI like years and years ago and some said no way, it is very vague, I just recall people saying no way such could happen or go on.

I am going to resist any big conspiracy here but hey have no lack of shady characters, apparently not right officials rumors due to the total lack of transparency and real investigation and people in power that are maybe as messed up or close to as messed up as CB himself. Seriously. Not quite but boy...

HIs sexual peccadillos even recently, this man is ia mess of a person. Burke. No doubt. He really needs a bun for his weinie, maybe he could control it better then.

I tell you and it will get there and as much as I gripe about it, I am very glad I live in an area not nearly as messed up. And this kind of sh*t makes me appreciate it where I don't always. It's pretty normal here. THANK GOD.

Just to mention there is supposed to be legislation to stop families of killers profiting from deals like AE has done with Peacock. This article is from last December.

Not going to read right now, hope I remember. I finally got laundry in at night and have to remember to finish it, a messed up day, but that kind of legislation NEEDS to happen. The families should not profit nor should networks!!!!!!!! Etc.

Also in cases where say the wife is missing iand it is not charged or known if the hub did it, at least half the assets should be frozen imo. And they shouldn't be able to declare them dead and reap all. Morphew would be an example.

What Asa did here was disgusting. What shows and channels have done is as well.

I can beleve you couldn't take much. It certainly shows a mindset doesn't it... And the taking over and control...? I would have taken one for the team but there was no way right now I could have listened to such a thing and my resulting post would not have been good. And I cannot believe you needed it either, the last thing you likely needed to lstten to.

Hmmm. interesting. In this one, imo, there is SO much more LE knows or suspects than we know, etc... So did the warrant cover all four parcels...?

It would have to really right? I mean you would think how stupid to bury them on your own land but look at the Dumbells? I guess they thought just cover it with a big concrete base for a mobile home and Bob's your uncle. The cops would never think to look in the pet cemetery, would they?

I got the impression he calls whenever he wants, to SK's all over the country, giving them defence advice and even sounded like LE use him. It wasn't gruesome or anything, but a bit boring and a bit condescending, if anything, hearing him blowing his own trumpet about how knowledgeable he is. What was his profession? Was he a teacher?

I as well and what's wrong with this picture??? Why can such go ON?? I can only understand to the point of if they let them talk they may get more on the person or their crimes but what he is allowed to do, that is not even enough reason.

So he can call to SKs all over the country??? Or just to some call in podcast??

No idea of his professiion but sounds like the typical SK with blowing his own trumpet and bragging and being a know it all. @Mel70 would know and I wish she'd pop in, haven't seen her in a bit and hope all is okay.

December is a busy but good month for SKs.

Not surethough if that's enough to if they can't place anything or come there...? Sometimes I wish we had an atty here although I don't like most of 'em lol. Did you ever listen to the other part? Not that you should have to if it's that hard to take, and there's certainly no rush either.

truck driver I think. I maybe already answered this one just wasn't sure where I left off. I think you already found he was a truck driver if I recall.

it's just wrong he can be calling them and how can you call sks? do they approve these numbers on his tablet or whatever?? I thought felon inmates were not allowed to write or call others or am I wrong on that? this is ridiculous, what is wrong with them to allow such?!

That's if it was an M and not a W. We also know there's been an arrest now. I think it belonged to CB's dad, or was it granppa, I think grandpa, the name was William Heuerman.

I don't know that I agree though with detectives refusing to look at all in the Massa Park area and one who had the same initials although they claimed to have formerly cleared him didn't they?
That was a VERY LONG article, it was a good one but full of all the political issues that have affected the case no doubt. Seems like more than one tried to get it on the right course but met with resistance.
