Linda. Covering both sides of Asa's attorney, victim's attorney, news, etc.

I saw something today on break or this morning, can't even remember which, just a headline, didn't have a chance to read or watch whatever it was that they are comparing DNA to a case of some mother and I also think I saw something about Las Vegas. Can't remember who had it or what it was beyond that but so there is some new news out there it would seem.

I watched, but I got bored with all the DNA detail she was going into. I know it interests some people, just not me.

It interests me normally not ihe least either. I apprecicate every bit of what it can do but I'm not someone like Linda who wants to know or try to understand the dry, scientific complex details of it. However, in this case I have to hand it to her, it wasn't all that dry and she explained it in a way that I followed quite well. Stlll not the most scintillating subject but it was when she went though not just that but along with everything else, it gave the full picture of just how they came to know the hairs belonged to Rex and his wife and arrest Rex. I had not heard a single other person out there do this fully with it all and in such a clear way with the whole picture and not just with the DNA. I too was about ready to quit listening and turn her off but I stuck it out for a bit into the DNA and found it worth it when she came around and put all things together and tied it with a bow. I doubt anyone else could have talked DNA to me and had it make as much sense as she did in this case anyhow. She understood it well as well as what they had to do and how they did it.

Anywho, not my first choice of subject matter but worth it to get the clear picture in this case of all that came to be. Imo.

I liked it. It's the first time I've heard of the Las Vegas girls.
I had heard of the Vegas ones just prior to Linda's show but she had more than I'd heard. She actually DID have things that I'd heard nowhere else, she does her research well. It does take her some time and often when she gets something out or by the time she there is already new breaking news or it is almost old news already but in this show not so much, she had parts of it that were not yet addressed elsewhere or at least not much. It was worth watching imo. And I almost didn't.

I like that. Better late than wrong.

I have only watched her a couple of times, maybe a few times and I almost didn't watch this just because she is not a regular of mine yet as I just haven't watched her a lot but needed something to unwind, two ten plus hour days in a row and we were BUSY today and it is the third work day in a row of six. Home at ten tonight and back at ten in the morning for number five. Anywhooo I chose hers and it's pretty interesting so far. She is a lawyer as the name of her channel shows.

I'm not through with it yet but she is going into some detail on what murders they are looking at in Vegas, etc. She seems to be a pretty darned good researcher just like Grizzly and a few others. For anyone who thinks YT only has irresponsible sensationalistic channels, it isn't true. There are really GOOD ones. And I can't even tell you how many bad ones are long gone, they often don't last long. A bit hurrah and going beyond what they should on one or two cases and then you never see them again.

Anyhow, well worth a listen. @Cousin Dupree I think you'd find it interesting as the Vegas deaths they are looking at haven't really been on much so far but she has info on which ones, etc.

Continuing to listen, man this is interesting. I'd like to share more but am wiped and can't put it into words. She goes into a lot of murdered prostitutes and also this guy named Neil that I've never heard of they looked at for some of the Vegas deaths and SOUNDS like he should have been imprisoned many years ago and has been looked at in many, many states for various crimes. Then one girl's legs were found how far away from her body near Springfield IL and an interesting tidbit about 'Crybaby and Springfield and maybe a similarity with Vergata in the spread out body parts. She also mentions that some have wondered over the years if LISK and the Eastbound strangler and the Atlantic City guy could not all be one and the same and more like this. She tells a bit of the story of each of more than a few of the girls. @Mel70 I think you'd find this interesting too as it is about serial killers generally and more so and I'd be interested in your take or what you know about any case she mentions.

She says now what I keep saying, no one KNOWS how long he had these victims, etc.

Anyhow, I'm not quite finished yet but getting there and this one gets my vote to others of WELL WORTH A LISTEN imo. I don't get a lot of time but don't want others to waste theirs so I try to share what I think of what I do watch. For instance, the Tylee and JJ's Silver Linings re Daybell case is nothing if you don't watch you will wish you had as there is little to no new info in them and I say so.

In this one, I think she is well worth watching and it isn't that she has any classified info or anything but she talks of all the areas including South Carolina and cases and just the unsolved cases alone, whether Rex or not, are something.

Oh boy, no one has shared this, this is something IMO. I first saw her headline on a break and figured it would be linked and you would all be talking of it by the time I got home. I haven't had time yet to link the source she is using for news or look or even list to the first few minutes yet. I just got home. He was soliciting a male and there's more to it. What is this idiot doign out of prison or still in NY even? They are checking with the feds to see if he was still on probation as well.

Happened at a park, at the Suffolk County Vietnam's Veteran's Memorial Park where they've had complaints. He was charged with OFFERING a sex act, arrested for Indecent exposure, public lewdness, and criminal solicitation with additional potential charges pending. He told them who he was and they say was trying to get out of it telling them how humiliating this would all be for him if it got out. Well YA THINK? This was also around 10 a.m. What an early in the day active guy...

There's a post specifically for you in the basement. :thumb:

It's said there are a lot of rumors out there and one is that there was a minor involved. They also made some remark about they wouldn't be confirming rumors of what he had with him or was carrying or some such. They didn't deny any of these things though. Not verified, just sharing that allegedly lots of talk...

It would sure be interesting wouldn't it if who he solicited was of Asian descent, male but dressed as a female... I'm not saying that's the case at all and I haven't heard any such thing but oh boy would that send up flags. The indecent exposure is interesting too at his age and former career. What's he doing running around at 10 in the morning wagging wee willie?

One thing is for sure, this is a VERY stupid man. Just imagine a man like that as a Chief of a County LE.

The BEST case scenario of him obstructing the investigation and damaging it and more is that he did'nt want LE near the world of prostitution asking questions, etc. when he moves in that very world. However, he was so outright corrupt in the investigation and his actions, I lean towards it was more than that.

He's as out of control as Crybaby. Oh maybe they are/were in control of some things like an LE agency (Burke) the women he picked up and murdered (Crybaby), the men (we know that much from this recent arrest) he picked up (Burke), etc. but they are out of control in that they can't stem their sick needs even if it means getting caught (Burke for sure). Maybe there is an element of needing that risk and a risky activity or something. Who can understand it, I sure can't.

Why didn't someone like Burke move to Vegas or somewhere after release, I mean this was just STUPID to continue his activities in the same state and even smaller general area.

So Grizz is talking of (and she stresses it isn't a theory, just interesting and speculative so to speak) when that woman who had the date with Crybaby said he started talking of the LISK murders and asking her how she thought the killer got the bodies out there without being caught, seen, etc., how did she think ONE of the things he said was well it would be real easy for a cop to do and get away with...

Of course it means nothing but considering Burke's behavior through the case and his obstruction and worse of it, and his OWN activities that we do know about and the theft of sex stuff and laptop from his car, it all certainly can make one wonder...

This is ABSOLUTELY uncanny timing if one thinks about it.... TOTALLY.

I shudder to think how this guy got into the position he was in before he was busted. :holycow:
