The parents of a Kentucky woman last seen 10 days ago suspect foul play in her disappearance.

Crystal Rogers, 35, a mother of five, was last seen by her live-in boyfriend, Brooks Houck, on July 3, according to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office.

Houck has said he had nothing to with Rogers’ disappearance. He has been extremely cooperative with investigators, police said, and he took a polygraph test.

A Kentucky police officer has been fired for allegedly tampering with an investigation regarding the missing girlfriend of his brother, who has just been named the only suspect in her disappearance.

Crystal Rogers, 35, has been missing since July 3. Her boyfriend, Brooks Houck, has claimed the last time he saw the mother of five was the night before, playing games on her phone.

The only clue in Rogers disappearance was her maroon Chevy Impala, which was found unlocked and with a flat tire on Bluegrass Parkway on Saturday.

Inside were her keys, purse and uncharged phone.

Brooks Houck, suspected of killing Crystal Rogers, asks to have $10M bond reduced

The man arrested last week in the murder of Crystal Rogers is asking a judge to reduce his bond.

Houck's attorney filed a motion recently asking a Nelson County judge to have his bond reduced to 5% of that: $500,000 full cash.

Houck is back in court on Thursday to be arraigned, and the judge will hear the bond reduction motion then.

I don't think so. Not this guy. His being out on bail is a huge risk of the safety of others and he ain't one that will toe the line and behave. NO.

I think he may be a flight risk, too. If his son is in the temporary care of his (Brooks) mother, he's free as a bird.
Me too. Flight crosses my mind but I also can see him right there taking all out or threatening all, etc. He has got away with sh*T for a long, long time and I'm not sure how, even as to regards to his kid and custody, etc. But yes if circumstances make it necessary, he would most definitely flee.

I'm still waiting on the Jason Ellis trifecta. But who knows.

I think the tune is dun dun dundun. Dun dun dundun dunnnnnnnn. :)

Transcripts show Houck told his sister how to record the proceedings and why he needed them, Young said. The transcripts were provided to Nelson County Circuit Judge Charles Simms III, who’s overseeing Houck’s trial.

Members of Houck’s family did not offer comment to media as they left the courtroom.

Recording grand jury proceedings can result in a contempt of court charge. A person who is found to be in violation could be fined between $500-1,000, be imprisoned for 6-12 months, or both, according to Kentucky statute.

I don’t think paying the money matters, but a few days behind bars might.:jail::bars:
