In response to this article. 1. I have been pulled over for it. 2. There is information that he was pulled over for expired tabs.

Not sounding good. Clearly there is disagreement or difference of opinion. I can't say I'm surprised as I can look at this case two ways without answers to a few questions. I wonder if it is a wide split or just one or two who differ but no way to know of course.

This case to me is not nearly as clear cut as Chauvin was and I'm just not surprised this is probably evidencing itself with the jury as well. Jmo.

So no questions or requests from the jury today? Not a good sign imo. It seems likely they are putting in a full day to show they tried and they clearly have not come to a consensus--or I guess I should say most likely, not clearly.

I'm trying, not so patiently, to be optimistic.

Doing better than I then. The longer it goes it makes me think it is a wide split or difference of opinion and not just between degrees. But maybe not, one never knows, that's for sure.

This is a sequestered jury. I wondered what they would do about Christmas and so I googled. This article says the judge indicated possibly letting them go home for Christmas, breaking sequestration, and then coming back Monday but it is said in this article that would be grounds for a mistrial. A quick read.

The name of this thread needs to be changed to Verdict In. It hasn't come out yet, they are waiting for the lawyers and defendant to show up with the jury.

I am pleasantly surprised. I hoped they were working hard on coming together since they kept at it but I was concerned they wouldn't be able to come to a consensus. Most jurors I don't think want to fail or cost a state more money and time and put the victims through more. Must not have been too far apart or too many hold outs...
