The defense spent more than 2 hours on Monday trying to discredit the victims — pointing to inconsistencies in their testimony.

It's hard to speculate about what any jury might/not be doing or thinking to be honest. Jury duty isn't something that is exciting to most however those selected understand the pressure to get it right & is what's important imo.

Differing or just ensuring that their recall is right if two remember something a different way. They also may be doing things like comparing accounts and things that corroborate.

Impossible to ever predict juries or time they will take of course as we know. I think most even if generally in agreement will want to double check some things, ask a question or two just to be sure they have things straight and also to show they are taking it seriously and because they likely will be asked the reasoning for the verdict when this is all over, even if only by their own friends and family.

I don't believe she would be released from custody because the perjury charges are part of the current indictment which she was arrested & detained for. moo

Annie and Kate are not victims so no offences regarding them.
Jane reasonable doubt about the timeline of her abuse and the testimony of others "she looked 18" etc.
Carolyn, a felon pimped by her felon BF and VR, who did not testify means reasonable doubt about who actually trafficked her. No evidence of travel as she herself said she was not old enough to have a passport/id. Lied about her age.

I don't know enough about the conscious/willingness thing to see how that would play out.

I believe the Government has proven the charges as outlined by Judge Nathan & expect that guilty will be checked next to each of the six counts. MOO
